I have suggestion on how to keep herbs fresh longer. I cut the stems of my parsley, place stems down in a glass with water and in the fridge. It stays fresh for weeks. Great video! I agree that sometimes it is cheaper to buy in small quantities when you live by yourself.
As an idea for future video - your minimalistic capsule wardrobe :) You have incredible taste! Would be great to talk clothes - what are your fav brands, pieces, what are the principles of building your wardrobe, etc. Thank you and have a lovely weekend!
You've got cooking at home down pat. Good job! I also live alone, and no, I'm not doing excellent at this. But, I'm still frugal so it works out totally fine. Winging it on food still working for me for this current chapter of my life , ha
can you do a video of what you buy at aldi?! My sister and I used to shop at an expensive grocery store in Texas called HEB, and then we switched to Walmart, and it’s way cheaper. Do you think Aldi is cheaper than walmart produce wise ? Also! maybe a video on what you meal prep in a day/week etc that’s budget friendly! always looking for more budget friendly recipes :)
I have never shopped at HEB (there isn’t one close to me), Aldi is cheaper than Walmart produce wise. I’ll get my fruits and veggies, bread, cheese, eggs, canned goods and seasonings from Aldi. You can check out my 3 go to lunch recipes in the description box of the video 😀
Aldi's produce and meats are superior to Walmart's and has a wider variety of better healthier alternatives. Walmart sells a lot of cheap stuff but unfortunately a lot of it has added crap like high fructose corn syrup, gums, soy lecithin, soy, among other crap your body doesnt want or need. Go Aldi
Ommmggooshhh yes so a lot of my meals are repetitive currently I eat turkey steaks, with small roasted potatoes, and a different vegetable each night and I switch up each week and this truly works and on the weekends I Saturdays and Sundays I treat myself to eating out
Thank you! Yes! I buy my fruits and veggies at Aldi! If I want frozen fruit and veggies then I'll go to Costco. I'll also buy things I dont need in bulk at Aldi or when I don't feel like driving all the way to Costco. I'll also get bread, cheese, eggs, seasoning, canned goods :) They have such good prices!
One of the biggest ways is to stop voting for these Democrats. Buy store brands if possible, buy from large grocery stores that have good prices. Buy your meats on sale. Buy produce that is in season/on sale. Stick to cheaper healthier foods like rice, peanut butter, eggs (not so cheap anymore unfortunately), etc. Make your own food and stop buying take away. Drink mostly water. You don't need top of the shelf foods if you're struggling. It's just Temporary until you get ahead financially.
2 incomes makes a huge difference. You can't afford it with 2 full time incomes? Things are still expensive but if you have 2 full time working adults, things are much easier. (I've lived alone for a while).
Dude, you gotta start making your own apple sauce. It's super simple and cheap cheap cheap. Same with laundry detergent. Anyway, another great Gal video!
Happy Friday! I'm sure there are more ideas! Share your grocery saving tips down below!
It’s crazy how much groceries can cut! Planning meals is something I need to do so I know what to buy instead of buying random things lol
Definitely! Meal planning can make a huge difference in cutting down grocery costs!

What about marriage, children and a family of your own? Is that on your future expenses.....
