I can't believe you haven't heard this. This is not only one of the biggest rap songs of all time, this is one of the all time biggest songs. It is played at every NBA, NHL, MLB, NFL, and esp NCAA Wisonsin football game, out there they even have a special time out and the whole 80 thousand people in the crowd start jumping around and singing along with this song. That and since it has came out, it is still played in every club strip club, wedding party, proms, movies, and video games.
The singer is of Italian decent. Most of the parade scenes in the video are from the 1992 St. Patrick's Day parade in NYC. The "Celtics" basketball team is named after the "language family" of old Ireland. The reason the video is Irish-themed is because the single it was released on was called "Fine Malt Lyrics," and was overall Irish-themed. Even House of Pain's logo is inspired by logos commonly associated with Irish pubs.
They play this between the 3rd and 4th quarter at every Wisconsin Badgers home game and about 60,000 people Jump Around. There’s videos of it. It’s crazy

A lot of that footage is from Boston on St. Paddy's day which funny enough goes harder than Ireland. Bagpipes are both Scottish and Irish but originated from the middle east. We're once outlawed by the British as instruments of war because in battle different song could relay messages to soldiers
There is also an Italian version of the bagpipe called a zampogna, my great-grandfather was a renowned zampogna player and actually performed at Carnegie Hall- but imo it sounds terrible, the Irish and Scottish ones are much better.

The bands founding members are Anthony Kiedis (vocals), Flea (bassist), Chad Smith (drummer), and John Frusciante (guitarist). Their music incorporates elements of alternative rock, punk rock, hard rock, hip hop and psychedelic rock. Their eclectic range influenced many genres of music. I look forward to hearing what you think. 🤔 I enjoyed your reaction. Thanks for sharing. peace out~
You’re the absolute best❤️
"Homie I get ya". It's been a long-standing truth that Reds and Blacks continue to unite. A powerful force.
YOU'RE RIGHT! That screech sound is a tea kettle boiling...very few people get that!!
Yes that’s what I thought
That's Prince doing a scream in his song Get Off. Not a tea kettle...
The opening is from a song called "Harlem Shuffle."
I graduated high school the year before this came out this along with Ice Ice Baby were popular in the 90s I miss this decade along with the 80s too
🙏🏽🙏🏽🔥🔥
I love this and Cypress Hill's Insane in the Membrane.
Bettttt
I've had this on every tape, CD, illegal download, and playlist since it came out ❤
🔥🔥🔥
That Noise is Prince screaming at the Begining of his song (Get Off)
🔥🔥🔥
The mix is DJ Muggs of Cypress Hill (the line "You know I got props, from the kids on the hill, and my mom and my pops" is a direct reference to Cypress Hill)
🔥🔥🔥
This song will always remind me of Mrs. Doubtfire
I gotta hear it for sure
I can't believe you haven't heard this. This is not only one of the biggest rap songs of all time, this is one of the all time biggest songs. It is played at every NBA, NHL, MLB, NFL, and esp NCAA Wisonsin football game, out there they even have a special time out and the whole 80 thousand people in the crowd start jumping around and singing along with this song. That and since it has came out, it is still played in every club strip club, wedding party, proms, movies, and video games.
🙏🏽
This song is a sporting event hype song staple.
🔥🔥🔥
The singer is of Italian decent. Most of the parade scenes in the video are from the 1992 St. Patrick's Day parade in NYC. The "Celtics" basketball team is named after the "language family" of old Ireland. The reason the video is Irish-themed is because the single it was released on was called "Fine Malt Lyrics," and was overall Irish-themed. Even House of Pain's logo is inspired by logos commonly associated with Irish pubs.
🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
The producer is dj muggs..also producer and founder of cypress hill
They play this between the 3rd and 4th quarter at every Wisconsin Badgers home game and about 60,000 people Jump Around. There’s videos of it. It’s crazy
🔥🔥🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Bro, when this came on in the club, we ALL lost our shit and just sterted jumpin! GenX'r from the BX who grew up in all the NYC clubs when this music was just released! I appreciate younger people feelin this music! Bravo! 🤜🤛
🔥🔥🔥🔥
Man, that was a great time for hiphop. House of pain, cypress hill, beastie boys, onyx, delinquent habits, control machete.... . I miss those times and parties... . should check out the album "same as it ever was" from house of pain. great stuff too.
I’ll be sure to check it out, thank you so much 🙏🏽
The 80s and 90s don't forget about us! I came to get down!
Early 90’s! ❤ The House Of Pain 💯
🔥🔥🔥
That DJ Lethal on the turntables. And the lead guy's real name is Whitey Ford.you may have heard Eminem talk about them in his GIRLS song( along with limp bizkit) if not you HAVE to hear it
The screech sound is a horn sample from Bob and Earls Harlem shuffle
Growing up in Boston I had a modicum of Irish pride when this became a hit but of course DJ Muggs largely deserves the credit for that.
🔥🔥🙏🏽
this group was everlast, danny "boy" o'conner, and dj lethal. dj lethal later became the dj for limp bizkit.
🔥🔥🙏🏽
This whole album is fucking fantastic...and if anybody didnt know DJ Lethal also became the DJ for Limp Bizcit...
🙏🏽🙏🏽🔥

I went to high school in the early 90s and they used to play this song in every school party and dance . It got wild in there 😂

They sampled his scream from one of his songs. I forget which one exactly.
Ahhhh ok thank you
Nostalgic moment!!!im so happy to be part of this era
🙏🏽🙏🏽‼️
Era of the beepers… this song was everywhere and we loved it 😊
🙏🏽🙏🏽🔥🔥
I’m a fan Stax, I just subscribed. Please check out live Beastie Boys (David Letterman Ch-Check it out and Amsterdam to start)
DJ Muggs did the production on Jump Around for House of Pain and subsequently added the East Coast flavor to Cypress Hill. FYI
The whistle sounds like the same one that P.E. used on "Nation of Millions"
Factssss
Sample is Divine Styler's "Ain't Sayin' Nothin"
1992, the year I graduated high school ❤
🙏🏽🙏🏽🔥🔥
You should have seen us Irish boys from Boston when this came out…also the dj went on to limp bizkit and is still with him to this day.
🙏🏽🙏🏽
Yo Stax, we need some Rage Against The Machine in here, they will blow you away.

omg YES STAX you will LOVE Rage.
@@StaxReactsit will blow your mind. Make sure you have lyrics handy.
@@CarRyan0809 I’m taking yalls world, love you guys man❤️
This is Everlast. He is one of the very few artists to get into a beef with Eminem and put Em in his place. The diss tracts are on UA-cam.
DJ Muggs did that beat for someone else but they passed and HoP jumped on it. That instrument is a Sax. Same as on that Public Enemy track. Good react, do Beastie Boys Car Thief next ;)
Ahhhhh ok bettt thank youuuu
👍👍👍 PEACE BRO ... GREETINGS FROM VENEZUELA
I used to club in Boston in the 90s(yes I'm old) They stopped playing this song because there was ALWAYS a fight or two
🤣🤣🔥🔥🔥
A lot of that footage is from Boston on St. Paddy's day which funny enough goes harder than Ireland. Bagpipes are both Scottish and Irish but originated from the middle east. We're once outlawed by the British as instruments of war because in battle different song could relay messages to soldiers
Wowww I learn something new everyday. Thank you for telling me this
There is also an Italian version of the bagpipe called a zampogna, my great-grandfather was a renowned zampogna player and actually performed at Carnegie Hall- but imo it sounds terrible, the Irish and Scottish ones are much better.
Awesome @Scientific ! I did not know that before, thank you.
If you hear those horns, you know it's about to get exciting. Everlast had a solo career and DJ Lethal has been in Limp Bizkit since the beginning.
‼️‼️
This a DJ Muggs beat, must check out his true band, Cypress Hill "Insane In The Brain" was their biggest, or "Hits From The Bong".
I’ll check it out for sure
Yes they are Irish and the song was in the early 90's
The ‘scream’ is a sample of Prince from the song ‘Get Off’.😎
🙏🏽🔥
I only went to one frat party, in 1993, at a friend’s college. This song had the kids going nuts. We got kicked out for openly trying to smoke a joint. Very different times.
🔥🔥‼️
You get a like for pointing out he's wearing a Larry Bird jersey!
Hahaaa thank you so much
Ireland Has allways had great muscien ...look at U2 ...Amazing music
🔥🔥🔥🙌🙌
