White rap..rap itself actually started in rock n roll..since the 60's!!!!!🔴
there is not a person on the face of the earth who has not heard this beat
Love your enegry and your reaction 😊
Dope reaction! Check out "It ain't a crime if you don't get caught" from their second album. As a matter of fact, check out the second offering "Same as it ever was.." in its entirety. Possibly the most overlooked material in Hip Hop history, at least on YT. If you don't know it's Everlast (primary MC), Danny Boy (MC), and DJ Lethal. Google each and enjoy the rabbit holes, shits deep.
U my hero. I was 21 when this came out now I'm 53 and still can't JUMP AROUND like back in the day.
I was 40 when this came out now I'm 70 and I can't jump around anymore but damn I still want to do it just like you and thank you.
Im not 70, but im pretty sure 80% of people I know would like this. It is an icon.
I think a few beers and you could still jump, maybe not so high.
My days are done with jumping and a few beers won't help. Thanks for the sentiment.@@looneygardener
@@wpawson jump in your mind. XO
@@looneygardener I'm 70 too, it isn't so much the jumping as it is the landing!
90s went hard. Lots of different styles of music man. This song is timeless too. 30 years old this song. 30.
“The 90s went hard”, that sentence is so true and that’s also what made it phenomenal
My man is named Everlast; he was real, no doubt.
Glad you're finding out we had fire shit in the 90s.
As an older man the club scene was jumping when this song came out!
It was so much fun!!
When a new generation first discovers music that you listened to at their age, damn makes me feel old.
90s hip hop was the best.
trueeeeeeeeeeee
1990s was the Last Dance Decade. 33 -43. I Miss Those Days & Nights, It's was Fun.
I was 17 (now 48) when this song came out! I still listen to it! 😂
haah im the same age when this came out, i loved this and shamrocks and shenanigans
His name is Everlast and he’s dope as F**k !
Listen to the album
Whitey Ford sings the blues
House of Pain and Cypress Hill, are kinda connected. D.J. Muggs is in both. Everlast (lead vocals) or Whitey Ford, was in one of my all time favorite movie "Judgement Knight" - the soundtrack featured a Hard Rock or Metal artist/band with a Hip-Hop or Rap artist. Every song is fire. The song Onyx and Biohazard did together before it seems to be the inspiration. BTW that song was "Slam". You would go wild on that Rap/Rock masterpiece also.
Just seen Cypress 4 months ago down in Tampa and it was awesome lol
Without a doubt "Slam" was a straight banger
Faith No More & Boo Ya Tribe - Another Body Murdered
That soundtrack is fire
Actually Muggs is not in HoP. Just produced some joints. HoP dj - DJ Lethal . Also DJ Lethal is a member of Muggs's Soul Assassins
The 90s were so freaking fire! MTV still played music, no one was walking around looking at cell phones. I miss that shit!! This song is badass. He brings the bars too!
About 20 years ago I was in a bar in Boston around 1:00 AM; it was INSANE!! Everyone was jumping; phenomenal ❤ Loved your reaction; you did the right thing; you jumped around!’n 😂❤
Back in the day ,the roof went off the club when this song came on! Good memories!
He sang that song at a college game and that cut him off. Everybody was jumping and they could hear the stadium creaking and cracking.
Think Wisconsin does it for the team running onto the field
Wisconsin football games they play this between the 3rd and 4th qtrs…they say it actually registers on the Richter scale, because the whole stadium is jumping together…
Even people who were not usually into rap loved this song.
As an old school bboy, still got chills hearing this song, a last Cypher 😂
That first guy is Everlast. He's still around. Check out his song with Santana from a few years back called 'Put Your Lights On'.
I was in middle school when this came out, 90,s music was and is so hard! From Rap to Metal to grunge and even country it is something special, I'm glad I got to wait outside at midnight release party's for albums and let's not forget the ( Parking lot sound off ) cars and trucks with God like power, powering Subwoofers that would rattle a neighborhood. It was Crazy! Have fun exploring,
The best part of the 90s was all the House Party Music. Just having a freaking good time. Best time to be a teen.
I remember this playing at house parties in high school. Good times
This song was my jam when it came out. I was 16 and looked just like Everlast. It was extremely high energy.
Subbed. Finally a dude that gets down while reacting. I can’t help but move when I hear any good beat. Any genre. This song used to shake nightclub floors 🎉😂✊🏽
It still shakes club floors tbh
Oh man , I love your reaction to this CLASSIC !
Your reaction was the same reaction everyone had when we’d be in a club and we’d hear that horn opening! This song got every club jumping (no pun intended)! But the place would seriously be rocking
I love you young guy's discovering our older people's music 😂❤
This tune always lit a fire no matter where you were... Spent many a night in college drinking crap beer, playing Beer Die and trying to find a warm body to counter the cold New England winters. #KSCgreeklife #Kappabasement
I've been listening to this song since inception ❤ I am so glad to see this generations appreciation ❤❤
Fun fact the DJ in this band is DJ Lethal who would go onto join nu metal band Limp Bizkit. During House of Pain's final tour when HoP came to Florida he met Fred Durst and the rest is history
House of Pain members also has a side project called La Coka Nostra that reunited Danny Boy and DJ lethal but had 2 new members. Eventually Everlast would also rejoin his former band mates in La Coka Nostra though only for a short time.
Classic anthem. It is one of those songs that just keep getting played.
The front man went solo as Whitey Ford and then Everlast. Country meets hiphop before Lil Nas X did it. What It's Like is his most famous song, Can't Move and Black Jesus are great as well. He also did a version of Children's Story with Rahzel.
Markie Mark is in this vid:)
He was always known as Everlast. My man was the only white boy in Ice-T's Rhyme Syndicate in the late 80s. Totally legit MC.
i absolutely love watching the younger generations discover the music i grew up on, i love seeing the same reactions on their faces we had when we first head it in the 90s
Gen X here. Song is a banger. 90's were the best. Everlast killing it.
Great Beats works at any time!! You feel the Beat! Excellent!!
Maybe I’m reading too much into the lyrics, but I believe most of the lyrics referring to violent acts are metaphors for challenging him in rap battles…I could be wrong, but that’s how hear it.
never lose that energy player..wooooo!
Awesome to see you jumping! Song is so contagious.
I've said this elsewhere, but how you weren't ready for that drop? Neither were we! This is the 'call to arms' anthem you play if you wanna see anyone over 40, from ANY country, hit the dance floor and act up 😂 🔥
100% 😂
Back in the day I went to a show with my brother and a few friends at the Riv on the north side of Chicago. It was the Gravediggaz, Korn, House of Pain and Biohazard. They had this short barrier in the front of the stage that came to a point at center stage. We filled in that point. When the Gravediggaz came out they had bottles of wine on stage that they were sharing with us. Haha. Security was not happy. When House of Pain did jump around, Danny Boy handed my brother the mic and my bro did a verse, it was epic.
I feel old, but this track is a certified *banger!*
this whole album is great
The lead guy from House of Pain was Everlast. Great lyricist who later on became a great singer-songwriter (he's still a badass rapper too).
Here's some more recent stuff he's done:

Yo, back in the day if this song came on the jukebox that bar was either going to be proper tore apart or everyone singing at the top of their lungs, happy af. This shit went right for the meat of the bone.
Love your reaction 😊 Jump around forever!
Great reaction !! You got the beat and the words. 😅
Still one of the best bangers ever/. everlast still the g
Everlast was part of Ice T’s rhyme syndicate back in the 80s.
Check out his first solo single Syndication, from 1988.
This is one of my go tos when I think I can’t finish a workout.
This beat has been sampled in hundreds of hip-hop songs!!
I love how you’re standing up for your reaction. Love it bro.
Appreciate it 🖤
90s hit different
Best reaction I’ve seen 😂 brilliant,,, it gets in your bones and you can’t help yourself
Everlast is a hip hop OG! He came out when he was in his teens under Ice-T’s Rhyme Syndicate label. He’s done some other side projects like the group La Coka Nostra, but if you wanna hear more House of Pain, you should check out ‘Who’s the Man’ and ‘Put Your Head Out (feat. B Real)’
I was jumping with you My Guy...fun reaction....enjoyed it!
Learned something today, didn't ya! haha if this song doesn't start your morning off nothing will!
i was a teen when this came out night club on saturday no matter the color of your skin this was the song everybody jumped
From 1992 - 2024 Happy St. Patrick's Weekend, We All Irish. (smile) Feel the Music.
Whitey Ford, Everlast... he goes by a few names
Dude...I'm the whitest rock nerd anywhere but this song and many other early hip hop/rap was slammin' back in the day! The creativity and awesome beats! When this was released I was going to school in South Buffalo, a very Irish neighbourhood. Very fitting. I remember hitting a few pubs inbetween classes. ;) we were lucky that we had some rippin' sh!t to party to! Its awesome to see younger generations appreciate some of our old timer music! Better days man...better days!
Im a rock & heavy metal nerd now & I freakin love it 🤣
The Wisconsin Badgers play this song between the 3rd and 4th quarters at home football games. It's considered one of the best celebrations in college football. 🍻
Not a Badger fan but, it is pretty awesome when they do this song. People are going nuts and having a great time!
That’s EVERLAST! ☘️
Now THIS is a reaction!
Im glad my black brothers are discovering other white rappers like Everlast that were just as Good as Eminem before Em showed up. The only difference between Em and the older white rappers Is the longevity. Em never stopped writing rhymes and they stopped.
You think that Everlast did? 😂
They didn't write the song, Ice Cube passed on it
@@stevenwarren9654
He passed on the beat, not the completed song. The beat was created by a member of House of Pain, DJ Muggs. So yeah, they wrote it.
He just young we all know this song
@@elbruces DJ Muggs wasn't a member of the House of Pain. He was and is a member of Cypress Hill.
I defy anybody to sit still when that beat hits😆
The lead rapper is EVERLAST, named after the boxing gear. He went solo in the 90s and created the alter ego 'Whitey Ford'
Jump Around
The singer's name is Everlast. He had other popular songs. One with Santana also.
We blasted this song in the Black Hole at the Oakland Raider tailgate parties 🖤🩶🖤🩶
Of course you "heard" this song before. I swear everyone had to have at least heard pieces of this song before. It's a legendary song.
Played in all british pubs at some time or other and yes we all get up and jump around 😂😂
Bring back record scratching solos🤘🤘🤘
I agreeeeeee!
So cool to see a young guy appreciate so much our music from the 90's !
Son, it was a different world then ! We get the best of hip hop !
One of the best beats ever!!!!
I love your enthusiasm, fun to watch. Cheers from Canada, eh.
Top O' The Morning To Ya is a fun song by House of Pain as well.
I Love your Reaction! ❤🎉
So Much Fun!!!!
One of my favorites ✊🏿👏👏👏
😂my childhood, 90s ohh gold 90s ... that was song of the decade, there was not much songs hits for decades ...
React to their songs Who's Da Man? and Top O' The Mornin' please.
This has been sampled a lot in hip-hop!!
this is the original and my favorite beat of all times
Another 1 hit song group
Well….that sure got your blood flowing at 8:00 AM…lol!!!
Gen X knew how to do it.
Top O’ the morning to ya by house of pain is a vibe too, check it out
His name is Everlast!
You’ve probably heard it because it’s been sampled million times
I remember this lol, i thought the floor would go through lol with all the jumping
This beat was reused by plenty of other rappers, so you may have heard that many times. But House of Pain is the OG!
Alway took this as... feeling froggy then jump vibe
The opening part of that is from a different song, for some reason music videos back then did that or added a snippet of another song at the end.
His name is called EVERLAST
His band is called House of Pain. With Danny Boy and DJ LEATHAL who eventually went to LimpBizkit.
Everlast - he's awesome and still making music.
90s was peak.
Put on Your Shit Kickers is another House Of Pain classic 🏅
You need to listen to "I'm a swing it" by them. One of the best bass lines ever.
The rapper, Everlast had some great solo stuff. Check out "What it's like". Totally different vibe, but great song.
1st reactor that got me jumpin
Have to wit this song !!!
I will never tire of seeing the look on a young person’s face when they realize Everlast is white. Not all 90s white rappers were Vanilla Ice corny.
Everlast is the 1st guy, try some Funkdoobiest, Psycho Realm, the Whooliganz, Cypress Hill and La Coka Nostra( with Everlast )
Great video, keep it up man!
