You notice how a lot of these players get traded to the Knicks and then leave the league. 🤣🤣🤣
Lmfao I was just saying that to my people 🤣🤣🤣The Knicks have definitely made players careers ruins facts
Is it me okc is kind of the opposite. Some ppl come there for like one year and come out better😂
Madison Square Garden is where basketball dreams go to die
@@Darealmenxce westbrook
@@NeticOnYT players who didn’t get drafted by okc obviously
I thought he was gonna say Newman was still playing high school basketball 🤣😂
I thought he still was!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I honestly thought that was the whole point when they came up with prodigy. Them niggas did one season and called it quits 💀
Couple 35 year olds playing in high school for sure.
LOL
I only clicked on the video to find this out. 😂
Glad to hear Marcus Lovett is killing it overseas he was favorite HS player during his time
My first time seeing him play was at Lebron James Classic. He was scoring easily
Cool!
What American player is not killing it overseas?
I find it weird y'all watch random high schoolers and have favorites. Like watch NBA old man and yeah watch prospects and upcoming talent. But you're fangirling kids lmao.
@@lanegarcia4899 nigga I was in high school when Marcus Lovett was wtf are you talking bout💀
What hurt alot of these guys was going to schools like Duke and Kentucky that didnt cater to them as the main guy. Guys like Trae Young and Collin Sexton did it right, going to places that they can lead and be the star.
That’s a big assumption that those guys could be as successful in any D1 program
nah some people just don't have what it takes to be in the nba
😂😂😂 bruh it was injuries for most these dudes.
So duke and Kentucky is doing it wrong? You didn't think this comment through
Well the people around them hurt them .. they are the ones that decided to go to one and done schools but you're gonna tell me playing for coach k woulda been a bad thing
7:47 Newman was selected ROY, MVP, Defensive player or the year,6th man of the year, coach of the year, and manager of the year after playing for an unnamed NBL team.
He recently retired and died from Napoleon syndrome.
Feels like Julian's been in HS for 10yrs now.
Every High School Basketball player should watch this. Just to remind them how hard it is to make it to the NBA. Get your education first. Not everyone will be Kobe.
Yes sir
It shows doesn’t matter where you rank. Limited jobs in nba
I played against Tony when I was in college. Dude was a MONSTER! I now work with the guy who was Tony’s assistant coach at Lee. I asked him what happened after Tony left Lee. He said that him and the head coach were getting calls from the Magic and Knicks to have him come do a workout, but Tony always said “I can’t get a ride to the airport”. Bro could’ve gotten a deal too.
That's ridic. If you can't get a ride to the airport to chase a dream, its def not your dream.
@@zerocal76 yeah I was baffled when he told me that
There’s always that one ☝️ guy in the comment section who “knows” a friend of a friend that knows the person in the video 🙄
@@TheBroknPezDispenser I mean he went to Lee college in Baytown, TX, I went to Lone Star College in kingwood; so we played each other when he was JuCo. His assist coach was from my hometown which is only 30 minutes from Baytown
@@TheBroknPezDispenser You write that comment as if OP claimed he knew Charles Barkley or Tim Duncan. Its believable bro
Lavar laughing at his son getting hassled into an offensive foul is the funniest thing I've ever seen
This further convinces me to continue reminding myself and my son that he should simply have fun playing basketball because no matter how good I, he and/or others say he is, there’s still less than a sliver of a chance that he’ll be able to make a career out of playing basketball in the USA.
Facts!!
If he’s under 6 foot , the dream is over
if he just let's it be fun he definitely won't make it to the league. Unless your son is a genetic freak, he has to work like his life depends on it to get to the league. there are 10 year old kids that have high school/college level handles right now. that doesn't happen just from "having fun"
There's always Europe or South America.
With that mentality, your right no chance
appreciate the research and compilation. nice!
Jalil Okafore is the biggest disappointment. He just never worked on his game, never developed a 3pt shot, never improved defense, never improved passing and was caught having fights at clubs..
Frs man, he shouldve just did all that in college an stayed an extra year or 2 perfected his craft then get drafted.. I think he still be in the leagues battling embid, simmons an all these other guys..
@@cd3121 this makes ZERO sense. He was #3 pick why on EARTH would he want to stay in college longer? He should've worked on his shooting and conditioning and passing in the pros - they have dedicated staff that is the best on the planet. He would earn millions while doing it. He was just a lazy bum.
@@mrvk39 my point, why just be lazy in college enjoy his his life while being young rather then not being able to be prepare mentally an work on his craft… not everyone is mental ready or financially able to understand the money aspect as well mentally too, so u think just cause he can make 1,000,000 give him a bright future. Life is 50/50 bro.. obviously as u can tell he aint doing too much anymore.. not everyone has a mentality like u idiot
Like u said he was a big disappointment as well as to me too, just cause their good in college doesnt mean there ready… some guys are late bloomer or early peaker, IQ, all that plays a roll
Okafor never really had a 3 pt shot to begin with
Still has the best post game of any big man in todays league.
@@IKEBULLTV i agree man, his footwork is still amazing since duke days. His spin moves, back down fades were always nice.. i always though he was going to be a problem but since he has been in the league all i hear is 🦗 from him bro……. Ive seen him on TMZ more then ESPN, now greg oden he was a early peaker an just never peaked again…. Some people make it some people dont man… lets you know 1 decision can make it or break it…
Truth is the NBA and even D1 hooping is very very tough to make just be they have ballislife mixtapes doesn't mean they're good enough for that next level especially NBA
Glad Tevin got a 2nd chance at life. You don’t see that to often now a days 🙏🏾
That's big facts. Bro blessed fr
whos Tevin?
imagine being 7-4"+ and needing very limited skills to get to a D1 school and possibly the NBA
imagine being 7'4+ tho. that would suck so bad.
^
It’s called the genetic lottery
@@notoriouslystupid2770 Exactly, and suck even worse if you don't make the NBA
@@notoriouslystupid2770 One of my friends is 7'2 his life is hell without NBA money...
Basic things we take for granted being at or around the average height he struggles with..
I remember being with him and calling an Uber and this tiny @$$
Car showed up.... No way he could fit..
Marcus Lovett should have stayed in college longer!
I show vids like these to kids to let them know how HARD it is to make it into the NBA. As good as ALL these players were not ONE successful NBA player.
Well luck has a big part... One bad landing after a lay up, and you lose your scholarship and the ticket to the NBA...
Jahlil Okafor, Jabari Parker & Emmanuel Mudiay were in the NBA bro 🤔 idk what your definition of "success" is but they made it and lasted several years.
@@AlJosephShow I stand corrected my brother. Point taken. To more knowledgeable people like us those three were successful. To the average teenager they measure it differently. Jabari went #2 and is a journeyman who barely sees the floor. Okafor got waived by the Hawks last year. And Mudlay didn't play at ALL last year.
Sports in the USA is difficult to achieve is about who know who ain’t gone lie is very hard to make it pro in the USA than others countries around the world
Just goes to show you how hard it is to play in the NBA
Unless you're gifted with athleticism like Giannis or Lebron

Across all sport there are more and more young players training and playing like professional players when their bodies haven’t fully developed. It’s why we continue to see so many injuries. Rewind the clock and you’ll see athletes in the 80s and before didn’t get hurt as much during their professional careers and tended to have better longevity. While not quite at the peak we see today, that’s better than destroying so many young careers.
Come on son, be real Cliff Alexander couldn't play because he accepted money and the NCAA made him sit out. He should have gone back to Kansas to develop.🤷🏾♂️
Cliff Alexander is actually playing in the Dominican Republic national basketball league. For the Metros de Santiago. ✌🏻 Off the bench
Who’s your favorite hooper on the list?! 🤔
jabari. could have been grant hill or penny hardaway 2.0, but injuries man.
Malik Newman
Chase Adams
@@TheBadsectorzero Jabari cant pass. he would've been like melo

All these young brothers have elite talent and yet the NBA remains elusive for them. Playing long term in the NBA close to impossible..
Cheick Diallo is currently Averaging 17 PPG 13 RPG 68% FG in 16 games played man's a Beast
It's the first time I've ever seen Tony Farmer not collapsing in tears.
Bruh.
I want to know what happened to the entire team from the 2013 Florida Gulf Coast College a.k.a. "Dunk City"!!!🏀
You should've put "Ryan Harrow" in there because this dude could hoop
Good video bro, just turn the music down a notch or two so we can hear you better
Rob Bob is back on their roster. He left due to lockdowns and the pandemic
Darius Washington, and DaJuan Wagner(The Messiah) - I'm from Memphis, so they all were my top guys there.
Someone needs to make a new nba street game and make these guys characters
BROOO LOVETT BUZZER BEATER TWO DAYS AGO… AWESOME
Music louder than your voice…. Quick fix but good vid
Last I heard about Newman was that he announced he going to play in the TBT, The Basketball Tournament. Not an actual league, but a tournament.
While keeping his balls clean
Dude is 5'6" 140. He is never going pro
good job on the info and especially research
Trevor Dunbar was filthy too!
I’m convinced Bol Bol will still be a star
Mad funny I work with a dude that got a ring with the vegas vipers. Said van fleet was on the team too. Dudes 6’11 cool as fuck
Fun fact about 5 nba 2k’s ago I turned Ivan Rabb into a monster with the overpowered potential training after each season. Dude was a glitch in that game
@ 10:00 he scored on Myles Bridges, who's probably gonna be on part 2 of Where are they now?
Damn, now I remember okc legend Terrence Ferguson
These guys killing their nba dreams leaving college early
Fr everyone ain't a one and done player
@@jamesburton.3336 they should be learning the team game in college, they don’t learn team basketball until they get to the nba. It’s 60 spots in the draft, but you have over 200 guys thinking they are in that 60. That is the problem, and they are throwing away a free education in the process.
Meechi didn't back down to anyone.. including male patern baldness
I was certain Okafor would be an all-star in the NBA for several seasons.
Okafor was all offense no defense from what I member. Also poor rebounder for his size
Just a little constructive criticism of your video… turn down the volume off the music so that the viewers can hear you better. Good job overall
whats the music?
Great video. You forgot the original UA-cam basketball prodigy - KJ Farfan
I didn't know a lot of these kids. Thanks for making this
It’s dope that some of these players ended up going to a HBCU to keep their careers going
Hot Take: I give less fux about a player’s skill nowadays. The successful NBA teams are more focused on strategy. I think it makes scouting easier as a side effect. Not really looking for a name, rather a set skills relevant to the team’s success.
Dude didn't even actually say where first dude is now in his "where are they now" video 🤣
Do aquille car and seventh woods
I thought Isaiah Washington, Jaylen hands, and trevon duval was gonna be the future lol
I thought Ivan Rabb was going to be a 20-10 player for a decade.
Yep I was wondering what happened to these guys. Great video
I mean, the first guy was pretty obvious that he wasnt going to stay healthy enough to play lmao anyone who runs like that at that age isnt going to stay healthy. Feel bad for the guy though, still had talent regardless.
Even though I know where they are at, I wanted to see Jaylen Hands, Jalen Leque, and Kyree Walker.
Hands is overseas
Only 360 Spots in the NBA - 1 injury or anything slows your momentum its a wrap your done.. You can G league it but at $7000 per month for 5 Months you better have a good degree or a back up plan. With the NBA being Word Wide Teams have World Wide Talent to choose from.
turn the background music down my guy
Nothing like being in the NBA.
I always wonder what Happened to Tony Farmer seeing so many memes and Skits on Social media wouldn't let me Forget him 😅 Oh what happened to Sterling Manley? Last time that I checked He was playing for North Carolina 🤷🏻♂️
Feel bad for all these small guys. It's pretty much impossible to get a spot in the league if you're under 5'10 Nowadays.
Dakari Johnson deserved to be on this list. McDonald's All American....University of Kentucky....Leaves early for "the show". After a mere 31 games in the NBA he ended up playing in the D-League for an insulting 25k a year.
Played China for a while then reports vary.
Another Coach Cow pie Calipari tragedy. Learn to learn first......in a classroom that is
90% try leaving for the pros...and freaking dissapear
the Puerto Rico legue is called BSN and it’s a super competitive league and the fanatics are super rude
Trayvon Duval messed up declaring for the draft he can still be something crazy
Where are they right now ??..They are probably right now watching this video
Couldn’t hear the music could you turn it up pls
Seventh woods been in college for 10 years
The background music is overwhelming the narrator’s audio
Do you think Guga should do a lululemon try-on haul?
damnnn i forgot about Isaiah washington 🤔🍇
How about Hingle McCringleberry? Where is he now?
Can you turn the music down a bit in your videos?
Only two players I was expecting to see..Brian O'Conner out of Cali and Ranaldo Sidney out of Cali!! 🙏🏿 on Malik Newman tho been looking 4 dude.

This videos proves my philosophy that putting high school players in the spotlight doesn't do no justice..... They ain't play long in the NBA....
Tony farmer overseas right now finna win a championship in Mexico
The first one looks like if slenderman & siren head had a child...
2:46 looks like zion johnson
Make sure you make the music louder next time! I can almost hear what you’re saying.
BRUH!!!
Parker going to be back? Hahahahahaha ok
Julian actually goes to my ymca
Jaylen hands should be on here
I dunno. I think at the end of the day if your career goal is to be a NBA player, you're better off looking at other careers.
Money @1:45 threw that n*gga shit 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Some of these guys getting money over seas 🌊 to.
Dude's hairline at @0:12 is CRAZY!
Heat selected BOL in the draft
If there are any Newman fans here, you just need to accept that NBA needs not only talent and skills but also genetics. He cant play with players knowing he only reaches height below their belt line.
It's sad I have some sick rookie cards for a bunch of these dudes.
show me players with a clean, quick pull up mid range while stopping on a dime.. none of these guys. not surprised
#11 had to reclass like 2 times 😂😂😂
Isaiah briscoe played one season with the magic
Where are Frankie Ferrari and Paris Austin?
What I learned from this clip is that there is always room overseas.
