Looks absolutely delicious! Many recipes i watch on youtube, usually soak the almonds. May i ask why you didn't soak them? i'm worried if i don't soak them, my blender won't be able to break them apart easily (don't have a food processor). Thanks :)
Yo just found your channel and I love it! You guys have super good recipes and are such a fun duo to watch :) Thanks for this recipe, I love walnut meat and I'd never thought about adding sundried tomatoes to it, sounds divine!
Well, the only thing that I might do from this demo is toasting the walnuts. Everything else I cannot copy because I’m an alkaline vegan. Thanks for the pro tip!
Same question here. One time I didn't soak the walnuts and the texture was like eating raw nuts. A bit too crunchy. I'm curious how they managed to get meat-lile texture without soaking.
I'm not knocking the food or the people that are cooking...but....why call it walnut meat? It's just walnuts. It kinda makes it ify that people now and days are vegan or vegetarians because they keep referring their meat substitutes to meat.
Walnuts are not meat. meat /mēt/ Learn to pronounce noun 1. the flesh of an animal (especially a mammal) as food. Walnut tacos sound okay, except around here walnuts are $8.00 per pound.
Don't be such a righteous ass, you may enjoy eating death, but others find it repulsive and unhealthy. And FYI Einstein, "meat" is NOT only animal flesh... it can also be the edible part of a piece of produce or a nut, as in Genesis-1:29... And God said, "Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be meat." Be nice. This is the first time I’ve seen a vegan version of this recipe. I’m not all that fascinated with the alkaline vegan version of this so it’s refreshing to see what other vegans are doing. ❤
I'm here to cook and dance, especially while eating these tacos - yesss!
Know Your Produce yaaas! Haha

Yes, walnuts are expensive. I like mixing with mushrooms. Be creative!!! ❤
Intro is too long, and too goofy. Couldn't take the rest of it seriously.
