Made this, but I added carrots , celery to the onion and garlic saute . Sooo good ! 🙏🏽🤎🙌🏽
I would soak or boil them first or you'll end up with crunchy meat 😬
For how long?
I like them crunchy. I don't cook all the enzymes, protein, and minerals (all found in the water) out of my food.
In the place of soy sauce you also can try coconut aminos
does this have a soy taste?

I got high blood pressure, and I need a low sodium alternative
Loved loved . Thanks . I just bought a bag of walnuts and I'm so excited
So you don’t always have to soak them?? Sweet!
I don’t soak mine! You can if you want to make them super soft but this way is so quick and easy! And still yummy 😋
It might taste even more like meat if it’s mixed into the sauce
I don’t have a food processor (we have a blender, but I can’t use it without help) so I’ll just try cutting the walnuts real thin
Crushing them in a ziplock bag
Giiiiiiiiiiiiiirluuuuuh!!! Where are you?? Hope you're well! Im fairly new to the "no meat" journey and all your food looks BOMB!!!
Add baby Bella mushrooms to the walnut meat it helps settle the crunch
Looks Delicious going to Try it.
I tried your recipe for the walnut meat today and it was sooo great. Made me a bowl b4 work and for lunch at work. ❤❤
Thank you for making this simple and easy without a million steps .Im gonna make some tacos with this today.new subscriber
I made this and I even soaked the walnuts a couple days to make sure they weren't crunchy and they were still crunchy. It was good though.
This is what I'm afraid of. Have you figured out how to make it soft yet?
@@NBid-rp9chMaking walnut ground is a process. I boil & soak mine to ensure there's no crunch. If you try to cook it fast that's what you'll get EVERY SINGLE TIME
Very simple, the Walnut ground beef looks amazing
Hello, can you substitute it for cashews?

I’m about to make this. Thank you!
This looks really good and your nails are cute
Thank you!
