Argos home delivery driver here, covering Northumberland and the Scottish Borders. we cover 5 stores in total, with 3 manifests. average home drops range from 1-8 summer and Christmas can be crazy! i have been told we cover the largest area in the whole country, longest trip can take up to 1 hour 30mins lol, we have a small amount of deliveries but each delivery can be a 15-40min drive apart. (Berwick-upon-tweed)
@Hykonic 6 drops for a whole morning shift is unheard of for us minimum is 13 maximum is 30 but we have over 35 to 40 manifests. I work at one of the lfcs in London.
I don't miss the way it works in store.. I've moved to an LFC, which means I load and drive, thats it.. no more picking, causing you to be late to load. & no more paper work.. I'm surprised argos still has stores working it this way..
The vans at my store were well looked after tbf, only one or two of them had that issue and that was only because people didn’t take care with them on an occasion

Can't believe you only have 6 stores we've got over 50. Seems like a breeze over there.
Well we had 9 stores for my region, I only had to deliver to two on that day, the other 4 were home deliveries

That’s nuts, we’d only have 5 manifests. 4 some days and 7 some weeks during Xmas
we have previously had 2 stores and 2 manifests, we now have temporary 5 stores 3 manifests.

Good video , how many miles do you do per shift?
A regular day for me would have usually been between 100 and 120 miles. Some people would do as low as 30 miles
Them Mercedes doors are useless, got to slammm them n they still won’t close
