Man I'm 100% in agreement with you about the unmoderated FB group. Moderation is necessary! And thank you for your message of positivity. That's what keeps me engaged with any DJ communities is the kindness people have shown in sharing their knowledge. Thanks for being cool Aaron!
I feel seen! I'm the guy that still rocking tripods with scrims on them because I'm saving up for nice columns. Yes I know they're dated. But I'm still rocking events. ☺️ And I'm saving my money
Nobody has to DJ like somebody else. We all develop a style. We can all share ideas to help us develop along the way. We all have gear or go thru gear that we like or don’t like. That’s ok. Live and learn. Always growing. Just be nice and respectful along the way.
You can customize the pads in Virtual DJ to add best jump to the pads. I never use Slicer anyway. You can also use the pads for Auto BPM transition which is only available on the Rev5, making that feature work on any controller you own. I am definitely going from the Rev5 to the Rane One MK2 since this is possible.
Next to no one has heard the new ev's. Only people that went to NAMM. These ev fanboys are just unhinged. Ev made what they asked for and these fan boys turn around and crap on ev. It's insane. Side note. So sick of these ev "sponsored" and wanna be sponsored fan boys in the fb groups. I had no idea that a prerequisite for buying ev was choking so hard on it. The amount of sales pitches in these groups is insane. The ev people have no ability to be unbiased. None. They fight against basic physics, they'll tell you the sky isn't blue because ev said so. Unreal. Makes me not want to buy anything ev. The help desk IS EXACTLY LIKE THAT. all ev nonsense. Rachel or whatever her name is isn't any better. Dj idea sharing removes posts that don't blatantly fondle ev. He's not upfront about that group being ev focused. It shouldn't be either. Should put it in the name or don't do it. I'm with nick on this one.
The worlds safest dj 😅, its the music you play, although you are a good dj you play the same shit everybody else plays, I think that’s what they meant. I’m from California I love the dj content but I can’t see myself playing most of the music you guys play. Its probably different out there
I get that--what I played definitely works here and is heavily requested by the couples. I don't think it's safe (played hip hop later) but I probably would be lost doing a CA wedding
@ most of the Dj content that’s popular comes from out there, your a good Dj, great mixing, but that was a funny comment, do what works for you fuck em.

I switched to 2 mackie thump go speakers and sold my bose s1. Mackie has some great tech, especially for the price.

@@j4yma1ette respect bro 👊🏻
First time listener,,,subscribed. Loved the honesty and agree!
I used scrims for 2 weddings and hated the look. Never again. I’m using tripods till I can get into a pair of column arrays.
I stopped using my scrims also. I dont like the look. Just a tripod is better.
Nick and Aaron for president and vice president 😂
You might be the most entertaining chap I’ve seen in a while 😂
Thanks bro!
I’ve learned from scientific study that there’s a 52.6% chance the officiant does nothing what you just discussed with them 5 minutes prior
lol

Aaron Brock here ..hi there
I’m Mike IV, my son is Mike V
Not a Rane fan. All of their newer controllers look really cluttered to me.
Fuck yeah I did the tripods for years - if you tie the scrim at the base with a Velcro they look elegant.
More Amy!
Always great Aaron
😂. Always a good time
Pheynx! way too late tho!
😂
I was lmao watching you trying to random pick a winner
Almost 20 minutes of pure shitshow lol
LOL! DJ Safe Space!
Anyone told this guy, he looks like Charlie Day?
I’ll take it
@@davidbroadbent1470 maybe a safe Charlie day
Phenyx, did I win?
😂
@ I’m going to catch one of these live sometime!! Going to MWD Live for my first time, coming from Iowa 👀 hope to run into you!
@ I’m like 90% going
Aaron you gotta clean up your swearing! You are gonna slip up one time at a wedding with that dirty mouth!
