i buy from tonys tamiya spares can,t recommend him enough i broke the body mounts on my blitzer beetle first run out doh!!! on the beach sent them to me next day now ripping the beach up again in stives cornwall ( and upsetting a couple off people i was told to grow up haha ) this is the best channel on youtube !!!

always loved the Frog as a kid but It was expensive. Ended up with a Brat I threw a spare 540 silver can on. Had a ton of fun with the Brat but always wanted a Frog. Nice to see the re re kits and your videos.

You sound local to me... I'm in West Yorkshire, Leeds Bradford area. Just discovered your channel and loving it as Imy first rc was a frog in 85,second hand mind you. Still took nearly a year of paper round to buy. Just getting back into it. Bought a zd racing for now til deciding what bigger to get. Anyway cheers for the memories mate

Brat was my first Tamiya rc kit back in 1984 and still have it! The Tamiya Frog came month later! I used to race it at the local track and did very well with it!

Glad the frog won! The frog is my favourite Tamiya buggy. I really like the Brat aswell though. The Frog is the one I remember most from the mid 80s when I was a Kid. I was obsessed with Tamiya buggies as a kid but never owned my own until I got a Grasshopper last year 😊

My first rc car was a frog. I liked the Subaru brat and Lancia rally more but they lacked the oil filled rear shocks . I don't believe they had the 540 motor or a differential either. Kinda a shame. Other choice was recommend by the hobby shop was rc10 and ball bearing version was $180 vs $100 for the frog or about $75 for the Subaru or Lancia. This was in 1984 or 1985 btw. The Subaru and Lancia have nicer looking bodies tho. Frog is a FUN car . Lots of my friends got hotshot or Blackfoot.
