The image quality is so good. Two 5D's is how we do our shoots at Google (check the MediaOneServices channel). And Panasonics for live streams.

Why make the sevice module expendable? would it make more sense to leave in orbit in parking orbit neat ISS, refurbish and use as cornerstone for space tug.

Probably too expensive to refuel it.

what nonsense. don't be fooled by the 3d animation. they are talking about the service module not the trans lunar injection module they show in the 3d animation. the capsule and service module belong together. but apart from that you can't just leave any old shit in space just because you don't need it. when you come from the moon you can't just leave the service module behind behind, somehow magically parked in a low earth orbit. how would it even get there? yes it's in space but have you any idea about how much energy it would take to brake to come from the moon and park shit in an earth orbit. next thing the capsule and service module can't dock a will. they can only undock. next thing is you can't reuse everything after dumping it for a year or two. I could go on but it's really pointless. basically everything speaks against that idea.
