TheNerdsRage and bgdrewsif - Great call. That must of been a Co-host maneuver. Thanks for the catch. The Co-host should be up to Internet 404 by now.
I liked how everything was split up and explained by section
Ok, CoHost here. For the record, I just finished a 101 Internet class, and no one mentioned the .mp4 gaffe. It may actually be addressed in the 150 level class. Of course, I'll have to retake 101 before moving on to 150. Sorry about the mistake.
there it is #Orion itself the first spacecraft to visit space in 50 years by NASA. this is the future this ship will take us into deep space and beyond earth orbit.
0.17 cubic meters extra. That's huge, LOL
first man on Orion by 2017? NASA c'mon I missed the moon landing I wasn't around I don't want to miss the mars one..
#Orion will be bigger then Apollo. back in the Apollo days the computer was the size of a desk and it was cramped. #Orion will use LCD touchscreens developed by Intel and fitted with top of the line processors and it can fit a crew of 8 or 700 lbs cargo. take a look at your new ride America this is what we will be using in years to come.
i do have the anti-gravity tech., more powerful than plasma fuel.I travel daily to anywhere back and forth in seconds.
great video, but agree with this comment... get rid of the '.mp4' that is Internet Basics 101....
Yeah right you got the shuttle blair. you wish.. :-) great vid anyway.
All the technology will be obsolete if the Brits can build a space plane. I am very optimistic they will.
A space plane will only be able to go into Low Earth Orbit (LEO) and back. It could not withstand the stresses of re-entry at extremely high beyond earth orbit return speeds. The space shuttle burned up on re-entry from missing one, tiny, single heat shield tile. And that was only from LEO. A modular approach to spacecraft is the way forward. Look at the ISS. A long term, deep space mission will include a habitation module at the very least.
letd go to the moon
For Mars....with the habitat...sure...but interstellar space...get f'in real.
Joe Schmoe; They aren't simply going to axe Orion and the SLS in the next administration. That would be a huge waste of money if they simply axed it. Its kind of how the space shuttle program survived for more than 30 years. People had serious doubts about survival the shuttle program but it still survived many administrations. The reason the Obama administration retired the shuttle was because the economy was recovering from some serious damage and the U.S. couldn't afford crewed space capabilities for a while. Orion is our next hope of beyond low earth orbit and I hope it survives as long as the shuttle program.
Also Orion is easier to upgrade and it has multipurpose in the name giving it more of a reason to survive in the space program. Also both democrats and republicans favor the SLS program (despite the haters) as it is NASA's ticket to deep space. Republicans want a return to the moon & a moon base followed by first time crewed trip to mars and the democrats want an asteroid redirect mission to help protect earth. both these missions require some type of very powerful heavy lift rocket and the SLS is perfect for both goals.
would have been better without the cheesy comedy style very annoying to watch stick to facts and stop trying to enttertain
Remove the file type from the video title, its unprofessional.
60's tech just a bigger bucket. Fail!
Allah.
Super Lame
I mean seriously...really freaking lame....either build a proper spacecraft or dont bother...
Well, the world just can't wait for your genius know how. Go ahead show your better idea. Dumb ass.
Your response is as lame as this piece of shit capsule
CockpumpVideo
That is what I thought, you don't have anything. You watch to much SiFi from Hollywood. I find it amazing that the people that know the least, bitch the most.
Too bad Orion and the SLS is over budget and behind schedule and is going to be axed by the next administration....
