@@lonepiggy7709 It depends if the budgies get along well, female budgies will become more aggressive when they're ready to breed with a male, if you look at the females cere (the coloration around her nostrils) the color can determine if they're at the age to mate/breed. If the females is a light brown and seems to have a crusty texture then yes she will be ready to breed soon with the placement of a nesting box. If the male has a dark blue, smooth cere (close to a light indigo) he will be ready to breed as well if the female accepts him. If you need to know more you could message the admin on Instagram, or ask your local pet store

@@callmeeggs430 sometimes birds take months or even years to gain trust. Just be patient and go at your budgie's speed. There are plenty of videos online that show simple steps you can take to earn that trust. The key is patience!

Lesley She got egg-bound, didn’t she? If you act fast enough you can save the female.
Just in case it ever happens again: hold the female on top of boiling water for 10-15 minutes, if it burns just put your hands higher, then put some oil in the female’s cloaca, put her in a small cage with a heating pad/lamp and leave her a bit to deliver there.
If she doesn’t then you’ll have to take her to a vet.

If you can't get a budgie yourself, look into bird rescue shops near you. There was a bird shop in my city that you could donate your time to and work for them. They'd even let kids as young as 12 hang out. So you might find kids your age to bond with (if you're young at least).

This reminds me of when my budgie miss berry laid 6 eggs but sadly a disaster happen a cat or something killed her and broke one of the eggs I believe my male budgie didn't kill her because he was really scared and there was no blood on him and with no other budgie the eggs had to be abandoned 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
