Today I installed a front dash camera to keep me from loosing thousands the next time I get in an accident. Last time something happened, the CHP couldn't get any witnesses so I couldn't prove who was at fault and it cost me big money. This GKU D200 Dash camera will help prevent this from happening again. This is a very DIY project, so don't delay in protecting yourself, as this is just like having insurance.
The exact model I reviewed (D200) isn't available anymore, but an upgraded unit (D600) with both front and rear cameras is even better for $20 more!

I installed one in my wife’s 2020 Toyota Highlander, she loves-it!!!
Glad she likes it! Now you can review anything that happens in the future.
I've just bought a dashcam for my first car, that being the Redtiger F7NP. Being a new driver on the road (as well as the most easily blamed due to inexperience even when not at fault) I'm hoping it gives me a massive piece of mind if these situations were to arise haha, been watching too many dashcam videos recently and they've got me paranoid. Thanks for the video!
Stay safe out there, and don't let the camera implicate you because you were the one at fault!
I couldn’t agree more with your thoughts on the need to have one in each car!
Thank you for this video. I was in an accident and a dash cam would have helped tremendously. When telling my side of the incident I realized I left an important detail out, because I was in a bit of shock at the time.
Thank you for sharing Susan. The video would have shown things you wouldn’t have even seen as well. Have a good one and hope everything works out well for you.
Very helpful, thank you.
Glad it was helpful!
Hi, I can't connect the dashcam to my iPhone. Problem with wi-fi. Same un your video. When I'm am in the JarvisCam app, the app doesn't recognize the dashcam. You think it's a problem with the dashcam or my phone? Sorry, I'm french and my english is pretty bad.
Hey Romu, I understand you quite well! I have no problem connecting to the dashcam with the car running (or at least with the camera powered). Be sure to connect your iPhone Wi-Fi to the JarvisCam access point name before opening the app.
@@DansWay Ok thank you. I will try to do that again. I think it’s a problem with the dashcam, maybe something is "broken" or I don’t know. But I will try again. Thanx for your response 👍
I tried again this morning, but if the dashcam is off, it’s doesn’t work when I power it. I must delete the JarvisCam app, and download again. I must do all the things from the beginning, bluetooth and cie off. I think the dashcam has a problem.
Do yourself a favor if you buy a dash cam that has a camera on the back. And also that it has the Parking Mode which protects you even if the car is stopped in a parking lot.. Thanks
Agreed. Having a back facing camera is a smart idea. The one I reviewed has the parking lot shock sensor so it will record if someone bumps the car. Same thing happens while driving. I had it set too sensitive at first and it was triggering on every speed bump! Thanks again for the comment.
