Hi Joe. Wow. I really loved this. It's my dream to go to England (US) to see exactly what you're showing - visiting the small beautiful villages of your great country. I am so grateful. Thank you!!! Liked & Subscribed. Jen (I used to hate cheese, too. Now I love it. Keep trying', our tastebuds change.) 🧀
Hey Jen, thanks so much for the kind words! Super glad you enjoyed watching! I've got plenty more coming for you to enjoy! Thanks again 👍
Takes me back to my childhood in Bristol in the 70s. Day trip with the family to Weston then Cheddar and Wookey Hole cave on the way home.
Glad the video brought some nostalgia for you. Thanks for stopping by and the comment

I love learning about the history of England. Stunning Somerset. I love the gorge.
Cheddar is lush, shame I was a pissed up student at the time, and didn't appreciate architecture and community and beauty like I do 30 years later. Ps subbed, will happily follow your jaunts. Good luck Joe!
Awesome 👍 thank you for the kind words and support! Glad to have you aboard, hope you enjoy the content.
Another interesting video. I did not realise cheddar cheese is named after a town!
Lived this, keep up the great work
That's awesome to hear thank you for the kind words! Yes Cheddar is a very small village in the South West of England! Thanks for watching!
Hi Joe, I am very glad I found your channel via Bald and Bankrupt. Your videos are informative and entertaining in a good way. I'm looking forward to more videos.
Awesome thanks for the kind words 🙏 hope you enjoy the content and upcoming adventures
If you go back check out the Market Cross in the village itself. Cracked me up the old sign you showed in the video is from a pound shop that closed down around 20 years ago haha. Great vid!
Hi Joe. We met the other day in Axbridge. Good piece on Cheddar. Looking forward to seeing your piece on Axbridge.
Hi mate! Yes what a pleasure chatting with you! Part of our conversation is in the video i left you speaking about Gurty the legend of Axbridge in the video as a reminder for the people of Axbridge that may miss the dog. The vlog on Axbridge will be out later this afternoon, hope you enjoy it mate!
Didnt honestly think this kind of landscape exsisted in britian. Fascinating
This is one place I've yet to visit. This video has made my mind up. I want to go now!
100% cheddar is beautiful. This was my first ever video! Don't judge me 😂 thanks for watching and the comment 👍
The next time we visit the UK ., we will check out Cheddar. We love our cheddar cheese. The state of Wisconsin is famous for there cheddar. but it must be better from where it all started .

Thanks very much! I can tell you it certainly smelled pungent in that Cheese shop! If you haven't already subscribe to the channel, thanks for watching!
Visited last year. Great drive up the gorge
Cool!😀
Glad you enjoyed!
Good old Cheddar Gorge )) and the cheese too )) Good job at least I can buy good old mature cheesey everywhear and not only in the village ))
One of the best villages in Britain! Thanks for watching and the comment
@@JoefishJ must say though, I don't remember finding a good pub down the old Cheddar )) There are so many hidden villages in England which you discover just driving along and then have some trouble to finding again ))
Thank you. I've always wanted to see Cheddar, but whenever I've been in that part of the world Glastonbury gets a hold on me and won't let go.
I live here and it's amazing
Cheddar is lovely. Its a bit tackey with all the touristy bits though. Definitely right to go in the winter or in the week. Bank holidays and the summer can be mental.
Hey Joe, We camped in Cheddar back in 2009, nice place, From memory there was evidence of cannibalism on some of the bones found?
Yes totally correct there was signs of cannibalism on the skeleton found 'cheddar man'. Some crazy stuff was happening! Thanks for watching and the comment
What sort of campsite did you stay on, did you complain about the cannibal's?
Sounds awful, you may be able to get a refund, nobody deserves to have people trying to eat them whilst on holiday!
Hey Joe, where you going, running round with that cheese in your hand?
You should come and visit Smeg mah in the Scottish Highlands, the local cheese is phenomenal.
Cheddar looks lovely, reminds me of Luxembourg.
Absolutely beautiful. Thanks for watching and the comment
How can you not like cheddar cheese mate!
Mate I'm a proper weirdo!!!
I love Cheddar Gorge
Me too, always reminds me of a scene from Jurassic Park or something! Thanks for watching 🙏
You forgot to mention the lovely Italian Restaurant called "La Rocca!"
And the amazingly good Thai restaurant 'zen thai'... Missed a beat there didn't I? Could claimed a free take away at least! Thanks for watching & the comment!
I used to think Cheddar gorge was actually where they got cheese from, ive grown a lot since last week!
You aint goin into the cheese shop for me Joe, I hate the stuff too
En España tenemos el equivalente de el desfiladero de la "Hermida" en los picos de Europa.
Recomiendo visitarlo.
Yours doesn’t have the Excalibur of legend 💪💪
Crackers, cheese and fine wine, yeah baby! 🧀🍷
Very nice... Think it's more a Ploughman's Platter round cheddar way!
You can see the sword in the stone (Excalibur) at 2:04 in the water, weird you didn’t mention it
I live here and I say that every time I see it😂
but what did you do with the cheese?
WSM has been in decline since the 80's. It was a great place to be a young man due to the large number of pubs, clubs and girls! There are some large and very deprived housing estates in WSM and of course the crime that always goes with such places. In the last 30 years WSM has become a hotspot for drug rehabilitation centres, there is a lot of money in that business. Unfortunately lots of people either do not complete rehab or return to their old ways after they leave. Lots remain in WSM. This means that even in the middle of the day lots of jobless dodgy blokes from Manchester, Liverpool etc are wandering around often causing drunken trouble. The shopping area is awful and all the lowest denominator shops flourish; one-stop, pound shops, betting shops etc. At night these shops need to be avoided as there are always criminal types loitering at the alchohol shelves and a few old people wishing they were ANYWHERE else. The ocean is toxic and although the beach is wide and really sandy its foolish to wade thru the deep mud and its not worth it to swim WSM has always been crass and lacking anything resembling taste or culture. However, the countryside around the area is beautiful and accessible so living in one of the villages nearby is a better idea. Not BOS-a quiet but ugly little town. The Mendip villages are very nice but not for a teenager! Bristol is a reat little city.
Move there man, better than in Weston S.M.
Cheddar is a Town.
It has 6,500 people.
Joe you mean you don’t like the smell of stinky feet mate?!?! 😂😂 Seriously tho how can you not like cheese bro!? I will admit some of it will singe the nose hairs for sure! Lol
The worst cheddar I ever ate was bought in Cheddar. What a crashing disappointment.
Come off it, Cheddar's way to be to be considered a village.
I love a bit o proper mature cheddar, something that bites ya head ooof ...
How in the bloody heck do you not like cheese? Unsubbed ;)
Right weirdo aren't I! Thanks for watching
Plastic cheese searches for real Cheddar! Hold the front page 📃😜🤷🏻♂️🤣😂🤣😂🤣😉👍
cant trust a man who doesnt like cheese... next time we want to see the view from the top mate.
Especially when pizza is his favourite food! I can deal with melted mozzarella but anything else I can't deal with... Weirdo aren't I.
Cheese is life ❤❤❤ 🧀 🫕
Haha sure was pungent in the Cheese Shop! Thanks for watching
You lost me at dont like cheese 😂
How can anyone not like cheese? There is something wrong with you.
Your not the first too say... I think it goes back to having packed school lunches as a child that included warm sweaty Cheese sandwiches! However I am a massive pizza fiend! Thanks for watching! Subscribe for more adventures!
@@JoefishJ You are welcome, thanks for the content.

Hello dear, I visited your UA-cam channel. Your channel has many subscribers and your videos are very good. But there are some problems, like your video views are very few because your videos are not properly SEO(Search Engine Optimized) and promoted. If you do proper SEO and promotion then you can get a very good result. I can help you if you want.
Hey bud thanks for the comment! Give me a message on Instagram @joefish.surf
@@JoefishJ ✔okay
@@JoefishJ I already messaged you
@@JoefishJ. Yes. He is right. Your videos are great, and once they are optimized, you will get a lot more views. You can learn that easily. See what keywords people use to search. There is a tool to search on UA-cam called keywords everywhere. It is super cheap. Looking at who is ranking and the words they used. I’m working on my own channel on health topics. Love your videos. You are doing great.
