The thing that drives me most insane is when a design doesn't follow on the back. Bonus points for when this is the gimmick of the doll (a couple of barbie movie tie in dolls come to mind). I think the reason it gets me so much is because the ads were always like surprise she's 2 dolls in one and it always felt as a kid like an attack on my intelligence. I have eyes I can see behind her. Still to this day I don't understand why it's considered an acceptable cost cutting method. Dolls are a 3d medium. If she only looks good in your concept art you've messed up.
I wholeheartedly agree with you! Like how do they manage to create beautiful concept art, just for the doll to be a fugly mess 🧐😅Dream Ella and Mermaid High look way better in the artwork than the dolls themselves.
I see them and go "cheep cheep cheeeeeeep" Like.. As you said, this is a whole arse look. Who would have no printing on the back of their clothes? Nobody. Barbara certianly woukd never

One thing i HATE about companies is when they keep on releasing the same doll 100000 times but "with different concepts" like the Playmates Miraculous dolls. It's like actually insane how often they keep on releasing the same Marinette/Ladybug doll and just change the name of the playline or something and they're gonna do that with Rena Rouge and Cat Noir too😭 Like Playmates PLEASE move on from the same characters and give us characters y'all left out with the first MLB Doll run...

There are maybe a fewww exceptions, but I just want to be able to style (or customize) the doll from head to toe myself These are just a few thing off the top of my head! I’m just curious: Why didn’t you like the smiling face as a kid? Was there less play value due to less mood variety? Super interesting to me. All I had was smiling Barbie (maybe a couple with pouty lips tops). They still acted out all kinds of drama haha. So just wondering why you were repelled by the friendly smiles?

Also my doll pet peeve is when the head cant move up and down and all around. I dont mind dolls with no articulation at all but at least have a good neck joint.
Eye issues (shiny/pixelated/wonky) are the worst for me, and I can totally relate to not connecting with a doll that has something off about their eyes. Mattel has a big problem with this, and it seems to be random as to which doll. I returned the Maya Angelou doll from last year because the eyes were too shiny, and the Black Widow Barbie has pixelated eyes. So, even the collector level is not safe, while I have seen some Fashionistas that are fine.
I think that this is a great discussion topic for the doll community. I hope that doll companies are listening and fix these kind of things to improve their product quality
I had forgotten the straddle sit pose! I hated it with my dolls! I had one barbie with a broken leg where I could see the click joint, I wish I still had my old dolls (my mom gave my toys away without asking me) so that I could have taken a pic of it.
I really do love when your videos are just talking about dolls it’s just so relaxing and I love listening to these videos and doing stuff with my dolls👏😁
I totally agree with most of these! Expecally the V sit I despised it as a kid and I still do now! Also with the saddle stands even dolls that come with it (aka Holiday Barbies) sometimes will still have that gap and it's so annoying. I get the metal stands too! Another thing I hate is when they weirdly smile and star into your soul it like creeps me out.
Wow, you hit on a serious thing with dolls, specifically articulation, that bothers me so much! This especially bothers me if the doll is made by a company that has done a better articulation system earlier and then starts doing less later. Makes no sense to me. So glad you posted this topic for discussion. Thanks so much for introducing these "what I hate about my dolls" as a conversation starter. I love hearing and talking about it. It may make the companies improve their designs. Thanks again!
Shiny paint makes the dolls look cheap. If you ask me, I think they need a coat of matifying varnish. Makes me want to spray mister Clear on their face lol I absolutely loved this video 1/you present dolls I don't necessarily know yet, it's exciting to discover new lines! 2/ I love hearing people just talk about their likes and dislikes in general about a topic they are knowledgeable and passionate about because I can learn a lot from it and get deeper on a subject through someone's expertise 3/ I love collection based video where people just talk about a topic related to their collection. I think the section on dolls wings in itself was sooooo interesting. Thanks for sharing!
The thing that drives me nuts is when accessories break when you barely move them I also get annoyed with thin rooting especially when you can’t hide the bald spot 😬
Honestly I LOVE the shiny rainbow high faces, I knew a majority of ppl didn’t like it and I had a feeling mga would get rid of it and they basically have but I fucking love it so much, I just love how shiny and glistening they are
I agree with you about the stand issues. Kaiser type stands were originally designed for porcelain dolls, so they're meant to hold cloth bodied or thick waisted and heavier dolls firmly, since it's really bad if a porcelain doll falls over lol. They're absolutely terrible for most fashion dolls, and can actually cause damage to dolls with plastic bodies if used improperly. And saddle stands were designed for really expensive dolls that the wire of the kaiser type of stand might damage since they didn't have cloth bodies. Again, not really meant for fashion dolls. I don't know why companies even use them for fashion dolls. Different types of dolls need different types of stands. Like, whoever decided to give the hairdorables longest hair ever dolls saddle stands when they have super heavy long hair and super tiny light weight bodies was not thinking.
What's really funny is that the intersecting joing (knee joint) of the rainbow high doll is pretty long, so by right it SHOULD be making the leg bend all the way but the problem is whoever made the mold doesn't know how it actually works and picked aesthetics over functionality 😭😭😭😭still love RH! obviously
There is NO reason the RH dolls can’t fully articulate it’s so??? I did a video where I carved it and made it move like a Liv/MTM knee… so why not carve that extra few mm to make it actually articulate? It’s soooo bizarre
When you were talking about the functions of the doll stand and sit I related so much with that I felt annoyed and didn’t want to play with it so you explained that on point
I'm completely with you on the misprinted dolls, especially the eyes. I ordered a gorgeous looking doll online where one of the eyes was not within the eye mold at least 2 mm off to the side of the edge and it bothered me soooo much I literally stuffed her in a box in a drawer because I couldn't look at her. The company told me it wasn't considered enough of a quality issue to get sent a replacement and, due to it being ordered abroad, it wasn't worth the money to send it back for a return. That doll is still sitting there not seeing the light of day.
I’ve seen this opinion before! I actually really like some that are placed too high or too low but when it’s one eye out of place and the other in place it just bugs me way too much
Oh I agree with the shiny eyes for photos. It is annoying. And paper plastic feeling clothing is awful. That needs to be addressed. I personally am not bothered so much about misprints unless it is so bad and one eye is way up and the other way down. I don't like seeing joints on dolls so i prefer the wire body or the bend and snap. But that is me. One thing I do hate is printed on pockets or pockets that don't open. It annoys me. And plastic purses that do not open. They are pointless to me. I would prefer a purse of fabric or at the very least to open if plastic. But once again that is all my preference. Oh and sticky hair or legs really bother me.
I have a first edition Draculaura (with gold elastics) and she has a MASSIVE wonky eye 😭 It bothers me sooo much but finding another one is too difficult (and not cheap)
The paper clothes are such a bust. My first doll that I loved was an American Girl doll which set the bar high…but I also loved my Totally Hair Barbie who had a FABRIC dress. Just stop with the paper/trash bag material. Also the wonky eye thing is so sloppy….yeah I’m sure every once in a while one gets through with a bad screening but consistent wonk is unforgivable. Thanks again for another great vid. 🙂
you can add a coat or two of matte sealer to counteract the shiny. the best brands are Golden and Windsor and Newton. Make sure the sealer says for acrylics
Lots of valid concerns, from an adult collector perspective. Maybe the joints on Jakks dolls were tight because it would break off during production and rough play? Musa everyday collection and Stella were meant as budget though. I am a bit surprised you didnt bring up the screening of the new witty dolls. Thanks again for your input :)
They're not tight at all- it's just that they didn't carve out the elbow correctly to allow the joint to move like it would be able to. They're also incredibly delicate as they are and not articulating as far as they seem like they should makes them *more* prone to breakage. I also don't think "budget" is an excuse for using medical napkins as fabric. It's like... kind of an explanation but it's silly- budget dolls by witty the year before Jakks came out had apparel fabrics. I also don't think it's fair to say I hate a doll because of the art style of the face. That's not an objectively bad thing or a weird mistake- that's just trashing designers which I am 100% against. There's absolutely nothing constructive or helpful in saying "I think the eyes are ugly".
@@GUSADOLFO251 oh I agree completely! I just think in a video that is specifically negative about things I hate, it would be a bit mean to say “I hate this specific art on this specific doll” you know? I never want anything I say to come off as an insult to an artist because my personal preference shouldn’t make another person feel bad about their artwork. I would feel awful for that
I know saddle stands are a pain but it's good to have some for dolls with long or big skirted dresses so you don't squash the dress with the back of the regular stands or sometimes I think it's so you don't see the waist attachment in the photos.
I really enjoyed this discussion. You are very knowledgeable about dolls. I love this and love this kind of topic. Since I collect barbie and seamless silicone dolls i only occasionally visit your channel. I did learn a lot from this video.
This was a fun video! I pretty much agree with everything. My number one thing would be bad hair that you can’t boil wash to fix. I find a lot of dolls second hand and if I can’t fix the hair it pretty much ruins everything else for me.
They are the most delicate substance known to man… but god they’re pretty. I had to let my mom sell my childhood ones because the wings tore :( if our toys broke we couldn’t have them anymore because we couldn’t care for them properly or whatever… which makes sense but that was NOT my fault at all
I am sure I have lots of Wonk eye in my MH collection. I sometimes notice it in passing. Of course I would rather nice even eyes but I will take the hit just to add someone to my collection....This brings me to the Skull Shores Ghoulia ......Whew! Aw Man! So first off, I loved her. She was not overly loved by collectors so shelves were FLOODED with her. I remember the Mommy Show it was a running joke of how many were on the shelves. I like her 50s look, with her brain printed beach wrap. She is just adorbs. So I buy one in stores. I do like her still but I see the wonk....I proceed to get my hands on five or six different ones over the years, second hand.....searching for a better set of peepers.....no dice. They are all infected with the Wonk Virus. I give up. I keep the best I find and just appreciate her....although, I would switch in a second if another better one came along. A girl can dream right?
I would love a tutorial where you show us a couple different dolls for how to fix the V straddle sit so others can see a visual demo on where to carve, how much, what tools to use etc. 😃
ua-cam.com/video/pNUlm_s3PQs/v-deo.html Not perfect but I did it here for more range on thigh movement but the tenets would be the same to correct the straddle sit. I used a heat gun and an x-acto knife (like this: ua-cam.com/video/7nItkXxWeug/v-deo.html)
@@xCanadensis thanks so much! You have such a large library of content that I’m not surprised you’ve already done something like this. I’ll save these to watch later this week and tag you for credit on Instagram if I get time to try it out and post it. I love putting your stuff on while I’m working with my dolls. 😃
Nice video definitely inspiring. I kind of wanna start making videos about my dolls now between you and some other doll collecting UA-camrs I watch I feel like I can relate to a lot of the things you guys talk about. Articulation is a big one when I was little believe it or not I did not like articulated dolls Because of the joints I thought it looked really weird when they were just showing, not like the Barbie doll legs that snap that’s fine, you can’t see them bend you know, the weird thing is I preferred Barbies with straight arms when I was young because I didn’t like the right angle but now as an adult, I see the beauty of them and I’d prefer them over the straight arms because they allow for so much more possibility😂❤
I have a opinion too on doll 1. I slightly hate about doll When they cheap Quality 2. I slightly love about doll With articulated 3. I slightly hate about doll Lack of diversity 4. I slightly hate about doll Not movie accurate 5 I slightly love about doll For being fashionable 6. I slightly hate about doll No neck articulatetion And I slightly agree on you're opinion
Missprint eyes are big issue with me too. I sell back all of my MH doll with bad eyes. This is why I still don't have original Spectra. I can't find one that is printed good.
Something that drives me INSANE is the “faux Buns” on dolls. Where they’re supposed to have their hair in a bun but instead it’s just their hair wrapped around their hair tie 😭
With the wonk eye, especially on MH, I had to check my dolls, and somehow, I was lucky enough not to have any dolls with misplaced eyes, but I have a few with misplaced eye brows but they all have bangs so I never noticed
One thing that always bothers me is how some dolls would just discolour over time. I understand that some times it’s unavailable but it still sucks I have of Dracularas and an elisabat and all their legs are in some ways discoloured I’ve been keeping my g3 drac out of light because of it . Which is pretty funny considering what’s a vampire but still it sucks
I hate a lot of the same things as you! I will say though my favorite barbie body (other than mtm) is when she had a snatched waist and could rotate on her hips idk why but I loved it and still love it to this day lol.
I didn’t even want to get into specific things to certain lines but yeeeah Barbie has a lot going on 😭 I miss the fashionista Barbies that were articulated… I thought they had such good movement and it would be cool to see them updated with the new body types!
There are only 2 things I’d say I hate about dolls across all lines. 1-when the doll doesn’t look at all like the art on the box, like why?? You designed them both, make them match! And 2-shoes that are the feet. In order to change the shoes you literally have to rip their feet off 😅. I’m also not super fond of molded on clothes cause it makes dressing them in other outfits kinda hard, but sometimes it can work *edit* Oh how could I forget number 3-guy dolls always having molded plastic hair. Just, why?
Yeeeeah I REALLY prefer when they match the art. It’s so weird. I used to HATE the shoe-feet things but I’m not too bothered by it anymore. It’s definitely still weird. Also oh my god I could talk for hours about all of the ways boy dolls could be better 😭 they’re mostly such a wreck. The molded hair is so lazy
@@xCanadensis Right? I mean I get that the art is 2d so it’ll look a little different but sometimes it’s just so far off from the actual doll. And I don’t even get the plastic hair on boy dolls thing, they already root the girl dolls in the line so it can’t be that hard to do the guys too 😖 I had a prince Eric doll as a kid and hated that his hair wasn’t brushable like ariels was lol. I just tend to avoid the guy dolls now
I feel like MH mermaid Draculaura vampire squid has ball socket wings... I lost one wing, but they have that kind of movement like your adorable lil fairy
31:42 OMG😂😂 saddle stands are those still a thing? I totally thought that maybe they were discontinued like in the 90s… Because they do suck!😂😂😂 and because the only dolls I’ve bought that came with that kind of stand were you know like 20-year-old special edition Barbies, so this is on news to me!
this video has inspired me to play a little game called "how many of my childhood bloom doll's clothing pieces and accessories can i find" (the answer is six)
Pullips come with kaiser type stands (at least the ones I have) and for them it makes sense because the outfits are always big and puffy. I have one that has a dino onesie and for that they work well. I have a bunch of Barbies that have broken click joins and a myscene where the rubber material broke, but that just might be cause I was rough as a child :) still i don't like them
I'm sorry i know this video is a year old i've just been binging these while cleaning my closet BUT. I have to say. That old giochi preziosi tecna had a full length bodysuit with a tiny little elastic loop at the bottom that goes around under the foot to keep the pants straight when you push the boots up on her leg to avoid weird pants bunching so it's inexcusable to see other doll brands cut costs by giving her lame knee length pants when they already figured out a decent enough solution in the early 2000s. On the other hand the wings kind of sucked ass like tecna's especially were like a small chunk of plastic that attached to her bodysuit with velcro
Wow! We hate a lot of the same things on dolls lol especially the wonk eye and shiny eye. In addition to screwing up photos my reason is that I have photosensitive eyes and while I am trying to photograph it blinds me so I give up. I never got Picture Day Draculaura because she always had crazy uneven eyes and it bugged me bald-headed so I gave up. Oh yes I love completely articulated wings. If I am not mistaken didn't Luna Motthews have the ball-jointed wings?🤔
The things you were talking about being "an influencer" and not being completely honest about it are propably one of the reasons why ppl like negative videos. They can trust that what you are saying is true and not an advertisement.
I see most “negative videos” as being clickbait for the sake of it and that’s dishonest too. I think there’s a difference between saying something is trash and having a constructive criticism for something
Hi, I'm kind of new to these dog collecting videos, and I hope you don't mind if I ask a question or two to see if I'm in the right place. But you mentioned a lot of times playability and playing with your dolls. What does that mean? Does it mean actually playing with them or maybe just fixing their hair. Usually when I get it all I take care of the box I fix her hair if she comes with multiple outfits I put her in the one I like the most and then that's it I display her. Yes, I perform regular maintenance on them as I dust, or you know sometimes that they need their hair washed I'll do that. And also the connecting with the doll. Is that just a way saying that they'll be certain dolls that you just know when you look at a them you have to have them? Thank you so much it is much appreciated😊 and I think I've watched one of your videos before did you just recently get married? You remind me of somebody she's around 27, and she just got married. I watched a video a while ago, and it was a lot of fun. I think it might've been you. Thank you again.❤
Only cause you asked but I have a short on my channel showing off what goes on with a click joint. Not sure how to share a photo here though sorry. I agree with a lot of your points, particularly the RH double joint issue. Like why?? What is the point? Such an odd decision on MGAs part
one thing i hate about dolls is the gimmick doll like the early barbie movies where it's horrendously bulky battery & tech compartments or transforming dresses where both look bulky & wrinkly like they just don't look good at all
I hate bad wigs !!! Lot play line dolls liv, moxie bratzilla the plastic cap being so noticeable all they had to be done was having hair rooted through out the wig cape from the edge up
My sdcc Valentine monster high doll has slightly misprinted eyes lol 😭 tho miss print eyes don't bother me all that much since it's not that noticable so I'm glad regret saving up 130$ in middle school lol
i have VERY few cleo dolls because she always had eye wonk. i loved her designs but her faces were ruining everything... i think i passed on every jinafire because of that
So what is your top 10 doll list?? I want to know! I mean, I get it's hard, so make your own rules I'd say haha. But I'd really love a video about that! (Or you could do multiple! One with individual dolls from your collection, or one with doll lines specific. Or one with same dolls from different series?)
I honestly do not think I could manage to narrow it down satisfactorily. I did a video like that in 2014 when I had less than 100 dolls (probably) and I couldn't narrow it down or put them in order bahaha. I would probably just do "some of my favorite dolls" or something
@@xCanadensis Completly understandble haha! Althought I would enjoy any doll ranking video. But you channel is awesome anyway, keep doing what your doing!
Hello, I hope that you are well. I was just wondering: who the two dolls are near the ELSA, frozen 2, doll and bigger my scene collection on the left? One has blonde hair and a blue dress, the other is purple. They seem rather unique, and I haven't seen any like them before; therefore, I just thought that I would ask! Thank you, kind regards :)
I have an incredible disdain of stitching that doesn't match the gourmet.Barbara does this all the time. Like let's say the skirt is yellow and the would make the thread purple.Ahhh it drives me insane. It cheapens it somehow.I just hate it so much.
Something that will completely ruin a doll for me is bad hair quality. If I can't brush a doll's hair, for whatever reason, hair style, type, whatever, I am still ok as long as I can touch it and it feels nice. If I'm supposed to be able to brush a doll's hair and can't because it frizzes, sticks and/or tangles right back up, it is a deal breaker for me. I do know how to boil wash and use a straightener on low heat and all that. Some doll hair is completely unsavable. That acetate hair for example. That is the one thing that will completely ruin a doll for me.
I bought an out of box forbitten love draculaura and the eye screening was so horrible that I put her outfit on a different drac doll and put the old one in a drawer🙃
I’ve seen the new MH dolls that some influencers received and it sucks bc most Frankie dolls were horribly misprinted, some Cladweens as well, Draculaura is looking the best in terms of printing. It sucks because even the PR dolls are misprinted now imagine how the dolls that regular people bought are gonna look 💀
I literally have a beach Frankie (or swim class, can't remember the name) who literally has two different eyes. The right one is a big stamp and the left one is those small, narrow one. It's so weird, how did they mess up so badly??
My generation girl Barbie comes with an ANKLE HUGGER stand... Just the worst I have to lean her against the wall to make her stand even with the stand...
The thing i hate A LOT is when companies get a License to a Show to make dolls and the outfit is just like the Show except its THE WRONG COLOR LIKE ARE YOU COLOR BLIND COUGH COUGH CHARMIX FLORA JAKKS IM SORRY BUT THE DRESS LOOKS SOOOOO MUCH LIKE THE SHOW EXCEPT ITS THE WRONG COLOR ASLO THE CHINA EXCLUSIVE MUSA ENTCHANTIX DOLL THE DRESS IS SOOO MUTCH LIKE THE SHOW ECXEPT ITS RED IN THE SHOW ITS NOT RED LIKE WHAT WERE THEY THINKING EVEN IF THE RED LOOKS CUTE ITS NOT LIKE THE SHOW EVEN GLAM MAGIC HAS THAT PROBLEM WHYYYYYYYYYY Another thing i hate is the Plastic Material how i like to call it WHY IT LOOKS SOOOO UGLY THAT JACKET FROM AMAYA WITH THE WHITE HAIR HAS THAT JACKET AND YOU CAN BARLY MOVE THE ARMS AND THEY STILL DO THAT JACKET STYLE ONE CHARACTER FROM SERIES 5 OF RH HAS THAT JACKET AND I HATEEE IT OR THAT JACKET FROM GHOULS NIGHT OUT SPECTRA HAS NOOOOO ITS SO BADD IT CAN WORK LIKE ON SWIM CLASS FRANKIE SHE HAS THAT MATERIAL AND IT WORKS THERE UGH I HATE IT
I don't like bad hair quality and when accesories and shoes easly fall of or they are easy to break. Loose heads or joints. Any problem with face paint.

Same! I love this channel, it's very soothing and I really appreciate her opinion and enthusiasm when it comes to dolls 🥰
I'm surprised for "bad bangs' series 1 Violet didn't make an appearance xD I swear I have never seen her have good bangs.
Hers are rooted correctly I think but lord they messed up in the factory with those
Shiny paint makes the dolls look cheap. If you ask me, I think they need a coat of matifying varnish. Makes me want to spray mister Clear on their face lol
I absolutely loved this video
1/you present dolls I don't necessarily know yet, it's exciting to discover new lines!
2/ I love hearing people just talk about their likes and dislikes in general about a topic they are knowledgeable and passionate about because I can learn a lot from it and get deeper on a subject through someone's expertise
3/ I love collection based video where people just talk about a topic related to their collection.
The ball jointed wings on the mia and me doll left me speechless......if mattel ever did winx again I swear that is needed!
RIGHT?! They also did it with less success on some MH dolls. It's so good...
I think it would’ve been more appropriate to call it the ‘capri thing’ at 20:11. I remember dying whenever you went on tangents about them🤣
No matter what you call it, it’s ugly and lazy
I actually really enjoy misprinted eyes because I think it gives them a really cute expression
I’ve seen this opinion before! I actually really like some that are placed too high or too low but when it’s one eye out of place and the other in place it just bugs me way too much
@@xCanadensis I get that! Like if it doesn’t look natural or like completely off it’ll bug me.
Fake pockets and purses are the worst. I come from the real fabric era. And straddle sitting is so annoying.
could you maybe do a top 10 dolls/doll lines in your collection? That would be really interesting!
I have a first edition Draculaura (with gold elastics) and she has a MASSIVE wonky eye 😭
It bothers me sooo much but finding another one is too difficult (and not cheap)
NOOO 😭😭😭
Gosh i love this type of chatty videos while brushing My doll's hair 💙
@@xCanadensisYou are entitled to like or dislike anything for whatever reason. You have been very polite in your critical reviews.
The LOL OMGs and Tweens really have the best styling ever to me...
I love this idea. Chatty videos are so awesome, because it brings in more of the meat of collecting dolls.
Honestly I think some of the nicer wings are actually the playmates Disney fairies, they’re so beautiful but omg they’re way too fragile for play
I love these type of videossss!!! 💕
I have a opinion too on doll
1. I slightly hate about doll
When they cheap Quality
2. I slightly love about doll
With articulated
3. I slightly hate about doll
Lack of diversity
4. I slightly hate about doll
Not movie accurate
5 I slightly love about doll
For being fashionable
6. I slightly hate about doll
No neck articulatetion
And I slightly agree on you're opinion
Ah neck is a good one! I haaate that
Missprint eyes are big issue with me too. I sell back all of my MH doll with bad eyes. This is why I still don't have original Spectra. I can't find one that is printed good.
I love the title of this, I'm excited!
Lol eyes are so shiny you can use them as mirrors 😭😭
It’s so bad 😭
Something that drives me INSANE is the “faux Buns” on dolls. Where they’re supposed to have their hair in a bun but instead it’s just their hair wrapped around their hair tie 😭
Hi Brooke! I am new to the doll community; this is such a fun hobby. Was curious on your opinion those Smart Dolls??
Lmfaooooo. I loved the disclaimer! 👏🏼💖
The eyebrow thing on Vanessa dolls is my favorite thing in the world though. It's perfect for her. Vanessa is why the eyebrow thing exists.
With the wonk eye, especially on MH, I had to check my dolls, and somehow, I was lucky enough not to have any dolls with misplaced eyes, but I have a few with misplaced eye brows but they all have bangs so I never noticed
Love the rants❣️
I love videos like this, please do more. :)
Also, I have been rewatching your Livestreams as if I were rereading old conversation
One thing that always bothers me is how some dolls would just discolour over time. I understand that some times it’s unavailable but it still sucks
I have of Dracularas and an elisabat and all their legs are in some ways discoloured
I’ve been keeping my g3 drac out of light because of it .
@@xCanadensis I remember they had computer game and you could pose them. That was like the biggest selling point it's so weird they took it away
I just tend to avoid the guy dolls now
I know it is definitely different in person. But the printed clothes look nice on camera lol
I’ve barely started this video, but I wonder if a layer of Mr Super Clear on the face would stop that eye shine 🤔.
It’s possible! Generally I like to leave doll faces alone because if I mess something up, the whole doll is ruined forever :(
what I hate about Monster high are its bad joints and glue, about bratz its shoes with different skin tones, about Barbie its bad quality now 😭
I know right? I agree! Though, I’m sad Barbie is such bad quality now. :(
I feel like MH mermaid Draculaura vampire squid has ball socket wings... I lost one wing, but they have that kind of movement like your adorable lil fairy
Ohhhh and Garden Ghouls!! You’re totally right! garden ghouls don’t have the range of motion they should but they do have the ball joints!
I have a bunch of Barbies that have broken click joins and a myscene where the rubber material broke, but that just might be cause I was rough as a child :) still i don't like them
I totally agree, especially with the straddle sit..ughh it's so ugly and drives me crazy!! Thanks for a great video!!:):)
And the garden ghouls do too! I need to spend more time with my MH girlies
@@xCanadensisOoh now I really regret not picking them up. I only have Treesa and her fairies from that line. I may still try to get them.
That blue haired doll next to you is so pretty😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
There’s quite a few haha
The things you were talking about being "an influencer" and not being completely honest about it are propably one of the reasons why ppl like negative videos. They can trust that what you are saying is true and not an advertisement.
I see most “negative videos” as being clickbait for the sake of it and that’s dishonest too. I think there’s a difference between saying something is trash and having a constructive criticism for something
Except for thing wings, since I don't have many winged dolls, these are my same gripes.
Love these videos I just fix my dolls hair and listen it’s like talking to a friend
Such an odd decision on MGAs part
ok but i kinda like the look of dubble joints... i think it would have a really cool on a doll thats ment to be a marinette / puppet type doll.
one thing i hate about dolls is the gimmick doll like the early barbie movies where it's horrendously bulky battery & tech compartments or transforming dresses where both look bulky & wrinkly like they just don't look good at all
I hate bad wigs !!! Lot play line dolls liv, moxie bratzilla the plastic cap being so noticeable all they had to be done was having hair rooted through out the wig cape from the edge up
Oh dang!!!! Are those dolls of the new She-Ra show characters?! I didn't know they made those!!!!
Yes!! They were pretty limited and only out for a little while back in… I think2019?
Do you collect integrity fashion royalty/nuface dolls? You should try defa lucy dolls too.
For rainbow high I think it’s just your dolls bc my dolls have same articulation as us where our thigh touches our calf I think it is just my dolls 😅
It’s a batching issue that they haven’t fully addressed or fixed
@@xCanadensis ok thx
Are these dollstand also in transparent?
We love to posing dolls because the articulation
One day I was bored, and I cut a dolls leg with click knee and the armature was really interesting
Omg yes SADDLE STANDS SUCK! Just needed to say that lol 😂 interesting video:)
41:19 when u put the doll in the Sun with the wings they can turn in pink😂🧡🥰💖😘
When did you stop collecting American Girl dolls and why?
My generation girl Barbie comes with an ANKLE HUGGER stand... Just the worst I have to lean her against the wall to make her stand even with the stand...
The thing i hate A LOT is when companies get a License to a Show to make dolls and the outfit is just like the Show except its THE WRONG COLOR
LIKE ARE YOU COLOR BLIND COUGH COUGH CHARMIX FLORA JAKKS
IM SORRY BUT THE DRESS LOOKS SOOOOO MUCH LIKE THE SHOW EXCEPT ITS THE WRONG COLOR
ASLO THE CHINA EXCLUSIVE MUSA ENTCHANTIX DOLL
THE DRESS IS SOOO MUTCH LIKE THE SHOW ECXEPT ITS RED
IN THE SHOW ITS NOT RED
LIKE WHAT WERE THEY THINKING
EVEN IF THE RED LOOKS CUTE ITS NOT LIKE THE SHOW
EVEN GLAM MAGIC HAS THAT PROBLEM WHYYYYYYYYYY
Another thing i hate is the Plastic Material how i like to call it
WHY IT LOOKS SOOOO UGLY
THAT JACKET FROM AMAYA WITH THE WHITE HAIR HAS THAT JACKET AND YOU CAN BARLY MOVE THE ARMS AND THEY STILL DO THAT JACKET STYLE
ONE CHARACTER FROM SERIES 5 OF RH HAS THAT JACKET AND I HATEEE IT
OR THAT JACKET FROM GHOULS NIGHT OUT SPECTRA HAS NOOOOO ITS SO BADD
IT CAN WORK LIKE ON SWIM CLASS FRANKIE SHE HAS THAT MATERIAL AND IT WORKS THERE
UGH I HATE IT
I believe the Monster High Garden Ghouls also have ball-jointed wings
They do! They just FALL OUT too easily so I didn’t even recall when I was talking about it aha
bratz dolls have 3 quick joints its so weird to me you can litterelly push their legs outwards
I don't like bad hair quality and when accesories and shoes easly fall of or they are easy to break. Loose heads or joints. Any problem with face paint.
Can we get a part 2? Pretty please ?
The doll with the pink outfit and wings with black hair looked sorta creepy ngl
