I never did! I got REALLY into collecting Winx when those came out so unfortunately I ended up skipping them. I REALLY regret it too. I would die for the Abbey!!

this really makes me happy to watch. monster high was probably my second to favorite, after bratz, doll lines to play with when i was a kid. this was when the dolls first came out and shortly after that i stopped playing with and buying dolls because i was “too old”. but i wish i had kept my dolls because i just love looking at and holding dolls. i’m 20 years old now and i’m just scared of the judgement i would face by friends and family if i would just buy a bunch of dolls and shelve them.
Go ahead and buy you some! I've been doing that since I got a job earlier this year! Mercari and etsy are the best imo. I've been buying doll lots of used MH so I can do repaints, but you can do whatever you want!
I’m proud of the fact that I never lost anything from any of my dolls and always kept them in their original clothing even though I was 7-10 when I had them. It kinda annoys me to see when people have lost a lot of stuff or ruined their outfits just because I have always been such a perfectionist with mine 😭

I honestly don't think I've pushed 200. I just counted the ones on the shelves and it was around 160. I maybe have 30-40 random ones in the bin and just around but there's soooo many more Monster High dolls out there!
My favorite doll is Rebecca Steam, and I got her when she first came out. Sadly she was lost when I moved in 2016 and I am still really sad about it and I was to get a new one soon

Karens had no effect on Monster High. Monster High started losing sales in 2014 and Mattel officially announced in their shareholder reports that they would be doing a reboot to try and boost sales. Someone on the team decided on the new look and I honestly believe it was to match the EAH dolls. Monster High, ismilar to Bratz, thrived on being controversial and the "bad girl" dolls so the Karen thing doesn't even make any sense. The only people that ruined Monster High were Mattel themselves because they oversaturated the market

I know there’s bigger channels legit just fabricating that this is the reason the reboot happened but it isn’t the reason at all. Mattel specifically said that it was because of poor sales. MH was also taking sales from Barbie that Barbie still hasn’t recovered from... and (in my opinion) I think Mattel was trying to capture Barbie’s audience with the reboot since MH’s audience hit the bricks and stopped buying the dolls
Seeing sweet 1600 dracaulra makes me so nostalgic because I got her for my birthday in 2014 and I sold her in a yard sale or I loved her so much that I destroyed her 😭 and the only thing to her have is her skirt 😭
Wouldn't pure acetone remove the stains? Everyone who repaint the monster high dolls using pure acetone or polish remover before they paint, and to make the watercolor to stick BEFORE painting, they spray MSC = mister super clear, and to build up pastels or get more pigments in general they use many layers with MSC to secure the paint work everytime they are happy with the result, and of course ALWAYS a finished layer with MSC when the paint job is complete 😊 just remember to cover the dolls hair and body if you have rerouted the doll, or want to use the original hair, and most of all remember to use mask if you use MSC and spray outside or on a ventilated area 😊 hope this information helps you, or can help someone here with doll stains and want to do a faceup on a doll 😊🙏 PS: use cotton swabs or cotton pads to remove the stains or makeup, with of course the pure acetone or polish remover. I really love spectra with pants. My first spectra doll was dead tired and she broke as well and now I have booriginal creeproduction spectra but yeah I love her character and abbey. I love all of the characters but those are two of my favorites.
It is surprisingly common for people to use my videos and pictures as a shopping basket for some reason. I’ve actually had someone dm me every few months for the past two years asking to buy some of my Winx dolls... like I get that they’re rare but no???
I was 10 at the time and LOVED the show but wasn't interested in dolls (I was very obnoxiously against anything that I felt was "girly") But then the Toralei doll came out and I decided I had to get her. Unfortunately it took years before I got my first one but she was the reason I started :)

Rubber bands can pop or loosen over time and those rings are not only extremely rare but also extremely expensive. I would be devastated if I lost one. I saw them a few days ago in the MH drawer of doom in individual bags so I know they're safe
I haven't tried anything. The Bonita's is recent and my Abbey signature has a HUGE blue one that's UNDER her glitter on her face... wtf?! Dance Class Howleen I tried everything but sunfading and nothing even helped a little :(

Hair mousse and water and hairspray afterwards is what I use to fix doll bangs but I’ve hear of ppl using wig glue like got2b
