Honestly I'm leaning towards a Variable ND + Circular Polarizer combo (both in the same filter unit, no stacking). That way I can get my exposure just perfect for the mids and play with the circular polarizer until my sky stops reflecting that much light (you can see it in the zebra 100+ how half the clouds that were over exposed come back without effecting midtone exposure)

I'm having trouble trying to find which nd filter stop I should get for shooting between cine4 and slog3. I shoot both outdoor and Indoor. Would you have a suggestion?

If you’re filming on a bit of a sunnier day and your base iso is 640 with a ND filter on how much shade should you increase to know what’s the real base image you’re looking at ? Hope that makes sense
There's a bit of a magenta tinge with the Polar Pro specially in the skin tones where as the Freewell it's a lot more warmer so I'd personally stay away from the Polar Pro if you're using a Sony because they already have a magenta shift as is, even though it's minimal on the a7siii.
That is so true. I bought both PolarPro PM VND Filters and sometimes i wish i didn't. Besides the color shift and over all "colder" feel to it, they also produce a harsher highlight roll off imho... I came to the conclusion that they are optimized for the over all warmer canon cameras (like PM uses)

Filter B for me. Try the K&F NDs too - great results and value

Freewell ND filter a little bit more yellow than Prolo.
Where are comparisons with Tiffen, Hoya, B+W etc.. I doubt Polar Pro and Freewell are actually the best out there.

The polar pro looks better. Freewell is too warm for my taste. But I’ll stick with my K&N cus, monies. Edit* K&F, KN is performance filters for cars 😂

B has too much yellow cast for my taste.
the freewell looked really really yellow. Did it really throw the colors off that much? It looks really bad to me.
