Regarding the points you mentioned: - The cross animation will make more sense once we have a story mode where each level takes place in a new environment. - Souls that aren't collected will be sucked into the cross, and the entire mechanic tied to this is something I haven't revealed yet. - There will be missions, and completing them will reward us with rarer resources for meta-progression. - We're also considering a Dark UI mode and a Simple UI mode. PS. I noticed you avoided upgrade, projectile, pierce, and bounce - those can have the biggest impact on weapon builds, and several projectiles can hit a large enemy if you're close enough.
