What a great video. At 22:21, his eyes shining like stars: "Why you should get one? Because it's good for dreams to come true. It's good for the soul. Something you thought was completely unattainable *can* come true."
Yes! That part was absolute magic! It touched my heart when he said that.

Same :)
@@MikeAnderson-mh2og I cried!
This was excellent Paul. One of your best videos of the last few years IMO. Nice one Archie, Great Vid!
Great vid arch, keep it up son!
Great video for a change big boi.
Adding on that: Patek has created the first wrist watch, the first perpetual calendar, the first annual calendar, etc, etc, etc.
Keep educating the phunters!
Quite frankly my dear, it would be cool to have one of anything & everything that makes our hearts happy 😊
A new wife would anyone happier than a Patek.
Great vid, thumbs up.
i'd rather a JLC or Lange to be honest with you
The best grandpa looking watch you can buy.
G Man HAHAHA true.
Hey do you think patek is highly reguarded?
Do I think Patek Philipe is the best watch in the world?
It depends on who you ask. While PP is a highly respected firm, their movements are generally too complicated, with the exception of versions similar to the Calatrava, which embrace both tradition and Swiss minimalism dedicated to functionality.
As a collector, the only PP watch I would ever consider are traditional models with no complication whatsoever. In my view, traditional and minimal are truly elegant, and they happen to be the ones with the least amount of service required. The more complicated a device is, the more likely it will fail!
One of my friends works for PP in Geneva, and he is a very fine gentleman. He agrees with me, Patek fulfills a certain niche market that needs to be filled. With 50K per year production, they are pumping out as many models as they can without harming the brand value.
After all, the Stern's are smart and wise businessmen, and unlike Mercedes-Benz, they don't want to overproduce to illustratively kill off the Golden Goose by overproduction to generate even more profits. The company is in extremely competent hands with Mr. Thierry Stern at the helm. His father Philipe taught him well!
Great video.
Sounds like he wants to sell the Patek
25min ad for your watch arch, good job man!
Awesome!!!!
damn fine vid Arch
Good review
Gus doesn't exist, Archie just wanted to talk about Patek Phillipe
Vacheron... "Has Been Watch"?
Look at the current auction prices. Realizations are: typically 25-30% above high end estimates.
that's why they say , you only take care of a PATEK just like ART you are a custodian of a PATEK until it's time to pass it on....
Cars... Maybach is out of business.
Patek is part of the; "Holy Trinity". I have a Patek that I love. My Vacheron fills something that there is no model equivalent to the Patek. My Vacheron is an 18K case and bracelet ultra-thin model. (Looks great with a tuxedo.)
But what about JLC would they not be the best since they produce high quality from about £5000 up to £20,000.
Arch where is your 5110J? I have not seen it in a while.
Gone with the wind
Pour a full glass there big boy.
Idk Archie I'd rather have just a normal black submariner that'd make me happy !
Monaco Slim Truth..... my Bro
PHISTED
Lycosa That was quick!
I bet his neighbors can hear him lmao
patek Phillip watchs have the ultimate history and great watches have greater historical horological history than others....you pay for the horological history and heritage of times piece art pieces
Quite the contrary...
Other fine Swiss makers have genuine family legacies where the patriarch of the family was a watchmaker. He passed those skills down to his sons, etc.
Patek Philipe was bought and is owned, by the highly respected Stern family. The Sterns are not watchmakers themselves. They are above all businessmen and merchants.
There are less than a handful manufacturers where the patriarch of the family started the company from zero, became a pioneering watchmaker himself, and then built the company a piece at a time, bringing his sons and other family members into the mix to create a multi-generational, family owned, operated and managed firm. That specific company was integrated into the Richemont groups a few years ago, but the family name still continues on with one great grandson remaining as president.
Personally, I love family, legacy companies. I met Mr. Gaston Vutton at the main Paris workshop of his great grandfather Louis Vuitton at the time Mr. Bernard Arnault was acquiring the company. To my knowledge, Gaston still works there as director of publicity. As long as a founding family member who is involved in production and decision-making the legacy remains alive.
History and provenance are very important to me. When people create and do work, that is the legacy of fine firms which in my book makes them nearly timeless.
👍👏🇸🇪
I wish he still made rolex videos.
Infected Are you serious?
BLANCPAIN IS THE BEST. WHY? THEY NEVER MAKE QUARTZ. YOU KNOW EXACTLY WHAT I MEAN. HIGHLY RESPECTED WATCHMAKERS SHOULD NEVER MAKE QUARTZ
