I haven’t even watched the video but 400 MILLION DOLLARS💀 I thought Spiderman 2 costing 300 million dollars and being nearly the exact game as the first was insane, but 400 million dollars for a hero shooter and a generic one at that? That’s absolutely insane

That is NEVER a good sign. Companies should always accept internal feedback and fault-finding on its games. That is if they don't want the market to do all of that for them.
I remember only seen three advertisements of the game on UA-cam and that was about it.
I feel bad for the Developers of the game
Don't feel bad for the devs. They got 8 years of employment out of poorly copying better ideas and ignoring all criticism. They are not a victim.
No wonder they're trying to sell the PS5 Pro for $700.00.
$600 million down the toilet. They should’ve spend it purchasing studio japan.
That’s why Nintendo wins no silly budget and solid releases throughout even this year , which is the last year for Nintendo switch as the only Nintendo console they have put out more games than Sony and Microsoft put together
People underestimate how costly these next gen graphics are. Studios will need much bigger budgets to only have a marginal improvement.
This is why chasing photorealism is incredibly dangerous
I think you're underestimating how much embezzling goes on in projects that have access to this level of funding.

Between Sony and Microsoft…Is nobody looking at Nintendo or is Nintendo still irrelevant to them lol.
They could learn a thing or two about sustainable game development.
Not surprised that toxic positivity factored into this game's demise. Sony's central maangement should have cancelled Concord years ago.
On the bright side, this gives me time to go back to my ps4 backlog.

With how long and how much Sony has been glazed, made the default point of reference, standardised and made to seem like the only game in town, all this bad news does make me happy I admit. I used to be a PlayStation player until the toxic, elitist fanbase made me want nothing to do with them, and especially in Japan I’m glad to see them making the effort to kick themselves out. They shouldn’t be allowed to keep having anything wrong they do swept under the rug and given free passes like the general gaming community tends to give them. PlayStation as a brand has become so diluted since control of it it was given to the US and the results are clear as day.
Sony going from thinking that Concord was going to be the greatest game they ever made to the game being the biggest failure in gaming history is unheard of levels of out of touchness that ive ever witnessed. How have there not been more firings from sony is beyond me
Concord's failure should be a wake up call to most of the gaming industry especially to the companies that are spewing out these live-service games that have bloated budgets and unnecessary hirings.
My views on Concord- at first, it was funny. Now, it’s almost sad. Still a little funny in a schadenfreude kinda way, though… And I feel real bad for the developers, though, if they were told to keep making this game nobody wanted. Can’t imagine it was a fun or good work environment.
My brother has a PS5, though. And I got Rift Apart on it and loved it. It was the first (and so far, only) real next Gen game I got, and is the one thing making me look forward to an upgraded Nintendo console. Just to counterbalance the negative with some positive for Sony.
Hearing what the higher ups thought of this game is truly pathetic. Like the whole toxic positivity thing is so evident here. Really glad Sony is learning the hard way, they deserve this $400 million punishment

I dunno. It feels like online multiplayer is a dying genre. Nothing has staying power.
I only heard about this game when it got shut down, maybe they should’ve promoted it or just made it better lol
