Thanks for your videos, but PLEASE use a SANS SERIF font such as Arial for the subtitles. Make it 100% white or yellow, too. Your current subtitles are very hard to read, which defeats the purpose. Thanks!
I fixed it in later videos. It was an issue editing in Final Cut Pro and there wasn’t an easy fix for it. I went into more detail about it in a post but everything should be resolved now.
at my local store, they sold the writing paper version $2 more expensive than kent paper. im not an artist n i probably wouldnt use the pencil much; so i was wondering if the screen quality is still sharp on the kent
First of all, thanks for reviewing all the types; there is very little info on the difference. second, try to use a better font (sans serif font, preferably) and more contrast (gray on black is poor contrast). great job!
thank you so much for this review! it was really insightful and helped me decide what was better for me :) i'm surprised that the regular bellemond had less distortion than the kent since it has more texture, but i guess the levels of light diffusion makes sense
glad it helped! I was really surprised the first time I put on the paper one coming from the matte glass one. it was a big difference in screen quality. which one are you going with?
@@JimmyLamStudio i've been using the kent recently and while i like it fine my priorities are mostly color accuracy and drawing feel! so i'm thinking the best fit for me is probably the regular bellemond. i am going to miss the anti-glare tho 😭
@@s_ha2084 Oh I see, I hope it suits your needs. I do miss the aggressive anti glare from the Matte Glass one. Filming with some reflections has been annoying lol.
@@JimmyLamStudio yeah that’s one thing im really not looking forward to haha. did you notice that much difference in clarity? if there’s not too much of a difference i might just stick to the kent but im still very conflicted! the RGB spotting is the most annoying aspect for me 😅
@@s_ha2084 if you already have the Kent paper on your ipad, I don’t really think it’s worth going through the hassle of getting the paper and doing it over. It’s not a monumental difference.
Thanks for the video, great comparison , very helpful. Will get the magnetic clip on one to try. Could you do the subtitles as black text on white background next time?
Hey, i have the magnet protector. Are both strips magnetic? because mine, only one strip is magnetic and the other is not. therefore it slips very often
both should definitely be magnetic. Did you try flipping it onto the other side? I know I made a similar mistake first getting it. otherwise, it is probably defective.

hello, thank you for the video. Just for taking notes which one is better in your opinion? Normal paper or kent paper?
you can't really go wrong with either for taking notes. It just comes down to whether the pros and cons for either works best for your situation.
@@JimmyLamStudio thank you so much for the quick feedback! Amazing work, keep it up!
I still didnt get the different between the kent paper and that screen protector
