Good video but I’m slightly confused. You stated you would avoid tempered glass, but it appears your top pick (ESR) is tempered glass. Am I missing something?
I applied a PaperLike sceeen protector onto my iPad Pro 12.9 last March, and I can say that after nearly 14 months, it’s been nothing but good. It’s a bit scratched from general usage but it’s been great.
@@nottyychi Noise as in visually is kind of noticeable but it’s not bad. Audibly there isn’t really a lot of sound when tapping or scrolling. Hands down Bellemond is the best for artists. I've had one on my iPad pro 11 inch for the past year, hasn't worn down my pens at all and I've never needed to replace it. It came as a two pack and the price point was so reasonable. The only downside -is that they haven't made a bigger one yet for the 13-inch pads
Companies do make third-party replacement nibs for the Apple Pencil, though, so the cost of replacement might not be that high, as long as you can find one that is to your tastes.
I adore the level of detail you go into. Best reviews I’ve seen by far! I was debating on getting the paper like because I was going to use my iPad for artwork but I’m not sure now. The fact it holds dirt and is a pain to clean sounds like a daily annoyance 😅
I don't get the advice in this video... looking at the ESR website, seems like the Armorite series is also made of 0.3mm tempered glass 9H, so what's the difference? I'm quite confused.
Please try the Mothca matte glass screen protector! It’s super unique, being tempered glass and having a matte texture. It’s smoother than the iPad glass for your fingers, but rougher for your Apple Pencil!!!
Should you even put a glass protector on the ipad Pro if you are gonna use it at home only really? Does the screen get scratched by the pencil and normal use?
Im very surprised you didn’t mention flolab. Ive been using mous cases for my iPhone and flolab screen protectors for the longest time because of your reviews and could not be happier! Question, would a glass film work hand in hand with a removable protector ? So I can have the usual screen quality, the protection of the iPad and switch to paper like when I feel like drawing ?
I’d love to see matte glass screen protectors included in your next comparison. I found speckle and wear to be a big problem with matte films, and the Mothca one I bought avoids this. But I don’t know if that’s the best of this type. There is a hit to contrast, but I really prefer how it looks and feels over the iPad Pro screen’s normal finish. Of course the new Pros do have a matte option now if you get the 1TB model - and I’m sure that looks even better.

Another great video. Say hi to Monty! I will be getting the new iPad Air 11" (2024) iPad soon. I want to use your links to buy a screensaver, but I think your links go to iPad Pro sizes. Do I need different links for the iPad Air 11" size screen protectors? Thank you!
The video is ok but not sure you are talking so fast or bouncing your clips so fast as well? One thing you did not mention is what screen protector blocks the microphone? That was one of my issues when I bought a tempered glass for a iPad 10th generation cell cellular.
I love your reviews and generally only buy what you've recommended. Since you review so many products I know you probably can't vet every link, so I suggest that you provide a "warning" that people (especially less experienced folks like me) should be very careful to make sure that the link takes them to the right product -- especially if it is on Amazon, and especially if there are multiple versions, sizes, years, etc. I wanted to give you credit, so I used your link for the Armorite "Glass Film," which took me to Amazon where the top result was "Armorite Screen Protector Tempered Glass Film."
