I like that you put a lot of thought into these games instead of just listing "no-brainers." History has a lot of expensive Barbie-like games that no one buys but have a weird story attached to them.
I'm super glad I bought Astral Chain back during the pandemic. I don't think anyone cared about building a Switch collection during that time so I was able to get a copy in great condition for about $40. Another thing to note about it is that it rarely goes on sale in the e-shop as well, which makes buying it physical more worth it in my opinion
Some Walmarts still have it on sale. I picked my copy up at Gamestop around 2020 and the girl working there said they rarely got it in stock at the time, and I havent seen it at a Gamestop since.
Great video! One of my new favorite channels. BTW, I just bought the Pokémon Scarlet and Violet physical reprints with the DLC (well, half of the DLC at least) on cart, those are gonna be worth a lot in a few years. The Sword and Shield versions with the DLC on cart are hundreds of dollars each now.
My guess for a future rare game would be a sealed copy of 'Pokken Tournament DX' because besides the fact that most people bought Pokken Tournament to open and play, I feel all the other Pokémon games on the Switch flopped in comparison. My guess for a future rare game that isn't sealed and was a general release (not a limited run) would be 'The Pathess' because in my opinion it has all the qualities of a good game. Most collectors aim for: complete collections, first party collections, or only collect the hype games, so because 'The Pathless' isn't multiplayer or online it gets overlooked. With consoles slowly turning digital and retail stores planning to stop carrying physical media I think all the sealed unsold stock of 'The Pathless' (for PS4, PS5, Xbox One) will be returned to distributors to be disposed of (stores like Walmart not carrying physical media = no $10 bargain bin), thus causing a sharp decrease in available stock and an increase to price in the secondary market. Summary: don't wait for games to receive clearance pricing because that's not how the world works anymore, when they're gone they're gone!
I appreciate your Tetris 99 take + info. Will be interesting to see what happens with that down the line. Would really depend on the print run numbers.
Its a good list. I would say some games to keep an eye on are complete reprints and licensed games. Like -Streets of rage 4 anniversary edition -TmnT shredders revenge anniversary edition -Dead cells return to caselvannia -Marvel ultimate alliance 3 Also some other platinum games that didn't cell well or have exclusive Nintendo content. -Wonderful 101 -Bayonetta origins -Nier automata Games to keep an eye out for: -Triangle strategy -Live a live -Cult of the lamb -Deaths door -Tunic -Siganlis
All of your info was very interesting for every single game. The only game that I think would go up will be 2k Drive just because it was digital then a quiet physical and then they try to cover it up with an another digital. I’m def grabbing that one if I see it
What about that one paper mario spin off game with ghosts? I remember a story that it got pull off of Nintendo eshop randomly and didn't get us a reason. Some say it was due to copyright reasons or lack of advertisement and wanted to pull it off online 🤷♀️ i tried looking up the game but i saw it barely have any online listings
Jump Force is a game I have missed out on before but after watching this I will likely go on the hunt for it again as I agree with you that it will be an expensive game in the near future
Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE is a big one I can see going up! a much newer predicition? Persona 5 Tactica because it sold like crap thanks to Atlus dropping it the same day as Mario RPG
I have pay day 2 i bought it in a local game shop cuz i was looking for multiplayer.. i only found one match.. single player was horrible i got a bug can't progress the story.. 🤷♀️ guess I'll hang on to it and use it to trade other games in the future
The thing about Nintendo physical collecting is that don’t discount popular franchises from big publishers like Resident Evil, Read Dead Redemption and Monster Hunter and other games where all the content is on cartridge. I wanted to play a few games on the GameCube like Re Code Veronica X and that game is like 200.00 plus and I’m like what the hell. It is an RE Game and not a popular one at that compared to others.
Do you live in a flyover state? Not trolling, just trying to get a sense of the market because there is one at a retro game store in my area out of three.
Make it seem like these games are gonna be going for 100 quid a pop potentially in a couple of years.. That's a lot of money. I'm struggling to believe that's gonna be the case. You can get a copy of symphony of the night on ps1 for 150 quid ffs. Maybe in 25 years.... Sure maybe
There’s so many better games than this list to have in a switch collection. The only game worth it in this batch is the Lego game. The rest are a waste of money
IF YOU LOVE THE NINTENDO SWITCH PLEASE SUBSCRIBE!!
We do switch content every single day with shorts/videos!

Thank you! I try my best to make unique lists every time! It’s easier to do with a 400+ game collection like mine 😂

Great video I would love a top ten best couch co op or top ten kids games for the switch
But great video keep them coming.

That one will definitely be one of the most interesting releases.

Like these videos. Any chance you can do videos of PS4,5 and Xbox games? Keep these switch games coming for rare out of print games
Astral Chain is insane, if you play, play with a good set of headphones 🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣

2K Drive is so weird with that release for the switch.
A physical copy of Skyrim on the Switch just shot up a little bit in price as well
I found the only copy of Astral Chain at my local Walmart. Haven't had the courage to open it.
Bayonetta also had a japan release around the same time with different box art and the same price. I bought that one as well.

I regret not buying it new for $30 a year ago lol they going for $80+
Astral Chain already had a second print for holidays 2022. it was going up in price before that.
Keep it up my guy!🔥💪🏽❤️
Neat. Where’s part four?
well where is part one? is it in the link?
Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE is a big one I can see going up! a much newer predicition? Persona 5 Tactica because it sold like crap thanks to Atlus dropping it the same day as Mario RPG
Was also on game pass which probably didn't help.
I have pay day 2 i bought it in a local game shop cuz i was looking for multiplayer.. i only found one match.. single player was horrible i got a bug can't progress the story.. 🤷♀️ guess I'll hang on to it and use it to trade other games in the future
All I wanna know is when part 3 is coming out?!
Luckily my Twitter DMs and Instagram DMs have not been attacked by this question yet!
I have that crap payday 2 game. Guess I’ll hang on to it and see if it goes up. Was going to donate it to my local library.
i finally found Astral Chain recently at a gamestop. it got buried because it came out the same time as Daemon X Machina.
funny enough daemon x machina is also a game to look out for in becoming rare
where’s part 3

Friday the 13th has an offline vs bots mode
Jump Force Deluxe edition only has the base game + first season pass, it's missing season 2 .
My bad! Didn’t know that! Still makes it a unique version since it has SOME of the DLC.
But are you making part 3 🤔
Dragon Quest Builders i want to get it
I only buy good games, so not many on this list for me. I did get blue reflection recently. I bet that one will get expensive.
Where’s part 3
They have copies of astral chain at my local walmart
Do you live in a flyover state? Not trolling, just trying to get a sense of the market because there is one at a retro game store in my area out of three.
It’s out of print! You should buy it!
@@MonadoMax I think Im going to next time Im there.

Is Mario 3d All Stars hard to find?
Not particularly right now but in the future it might be. I’ve even seen them pre owned at GameStop sometimes.
Not really it’s just starting to get expensive to buy now.
What is "On-a-May" it's pernouned An-a-may like short for Animation
lol every game you said I have here put Friday the 13th lol
Dude, pause the camera and go pee already!
Hes cute
Alan wake 2 switch version is even rarer
