I love what you said about Nick. Good fir him for sitting in. Despite the loss and the stress I hope he enjoyed it.
I also hope he watches this blog and reads through these comments. Rarely would I recommend anyone read the comments to see "you're not alone", and it's only been out a short while, but I'm hoping as Brad-fans, and having heard his clear call for restraint, they'll remain, to whatever degree, beneficial for him.
Edit: a few seconds ago, this became necessary-DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT HAVE HIM READ THE COMMENTS.
Absolutely ATROCIOUS plays from Nick!!!

You gave props to those who deserved them and showed grace all through the blog. You are a man above many.

I watch you alot im a amateur player myself but I like to go big I have learned alot from u keep helping us out we love your channel 💯
@@bilyonarelifestile2226 win or lose, they get paid :D
Shout out to Nick there’s no way I would’ve sat at the table.
If you had his money you will.
The respect Brad shows to everyone is unmatched, he's become my favorite poker pro to watch.
Bro is a gambling addict
Poker is just a game anyone that knows the game can win against the pros
check that again. he’s high AF
Massive respect Brad. You give every amateur poker player a real insight into your world and it’s so honest and real to see.
Absolutely 100% agree with your take on Nick. I don't know him but I give him all the respect in the world to have the stones to sit with you guys. I've been in similar situations over the past few years and it is absolutely stress-inducing! Much love to you, Brad, and I wish Nick all the luck at the felt!
Playing a bit above your comfort zone is one thing and can potentially be admired. If you’re folding pocket jacks to a single 3-bet pre flop, that heavily implies his appropriate stakes should be Facebook poker for funny money.
So what he’s doing in this game is literally just lighting money on fire. If he doesn’t mind, good for him.
I haven’t watched yet, but having “biggest pots of my life” instead of “biggest wins of my life” is already scaring me.. let’s see how this goes for Brad.
He's the house when he plays at the lodge.
same exact thought going through my head before watching. Just watched but won't spoil for anyone

I thought about updating the comment but you’re right, I’ll just leave it as a check in point for people before they watch so we don’t spoil lol.
@@dwagon41 Well yea but he’s still paying his money to the people at the table when he loses.
Great comeback man. Being stuck that much that fast could really screw ya up… but you brushed it off and kicked azz 😎💯
Its a lie man, what are the odds that the stream froze only at that moment
@@mevlutkorkmaz2397if that your only proof then stop🤡
@@zeno1341 lol i forgot what the video was about🤣🤣🤣
Even with the stream issues, this was your best poker vlog yet. The analysis and the genuine emotions were spot on!
Nick is a straight up stud. What a hero. Glad you gave him respect during the vlog. Great sesh!
Regardless of the results, I think you honestly dominated this table by stepping up to the plate and applying pressure while being outside of your comfort zone and being stuck more than you ever had been, so congrats on that. One thing that you never talked about is having loads of people standing around the table sweating the action and talking behind you the whole time, as well as thousands tuned in on stream, which can be very nerve-wracking in itself, especially at these stakes. Keep crushing it Brad I am so happy to have been following you on this journey since early 2020, it's been so cool to watch and I'm looking forward to what's next!
This is well said
It was nail biting watching this live. Love the content and the emotional rollercoaster that is giant stakes poker
Yours was the first poker vlog I ever watched, maybe sometime last fall. I've had the opportunity to view a few others since then, and yours is easily the best. Your clear play-by-play is unmatched in this format.
“Ferocious in battle but magnanimous in victory” between this and when you gave that young fan $200 who came to play with you but busted right before you came in, you are truly an example to emulate. A gentleman and a warrior.
You can’t be timid at a poker table. You get slaughtered. But it’s what you do off the table that also counts. I saw that episode where he gives that young man a little bit of help so he can join the fray. It is such a nice touch.
Yeah the kid came back to win like $900 or something. That was pretty cool.
Can anyone link to what video he gave the fan the $200? Would love to see it. :D

That was a real stand up move to defend Nick in the vlog. Also, the Rounders references were on point.

Brad, your honesty and humility is what makes this channel so good.
It was great to see how this session turned out for you, Brad. Also, thanks a ton for the impromptu vlog you made with me for my wife! She was so impressed with your kindness, especially with everything you had on your mind at that time! Keep crushing and hope to see you soon! -Chris
You are the man! Love watching this journey you are on. Good luck with all that you do!! Poker, business, and most importantly...family!!
The fact that Brad didn't lose his head but fought back like a champ... Mad respect right there
Brad's poker face is so menacing lol... maybe why he came back from that huge loss at the start of the night!
Love the vlogs, always brighten my day :) Great comeback even if you lost a bit.
When Brad uploads a new vlog it’s like unwrapping a Christmas present 🎁
Awesome job Brad, you’re a phenomenal poker player. The fact that you kept your cool and stayed focused after the all in was amazing.
Fascinating to see you put yourself to the test in such a big game. Great job keeping it together after such a disastrous start. Awesome to hear your commentary with all the stream transparency. Hats off to Nick. Big cojones to mix it up in that game. Thanks for continuing to give us amazing content!

Brad you're an inspiration. This journey has been incredible (started watching around episode 100). Congrats in this session, despite a small loss you clearly played brilliantly and adjusted to the table so well.
What a wild ride! I watched this one live on the stream and I've been waiting for your video on it. Great work coming back, if it wasn't for that one unlucky runout this would've been an epic win. Always looking forward to these videos. Keep up the great work Brad!
Your reads and play since i’ve been watching have improved absolutely so much!! It’s amazing watching and you inspiring me to keep studying and striving at the poker tables myself. Thanks Brad!
Thanks for the awesome content Brad. I’ve been watching for years. Love seeing the growth of your poker and vlogging career! Great stuff.

I can't imagine how hard your heart was pumping during some of these hands. Lots of respect for the good words about Nick, I'm sure he's an incredible guy
Love the positivity about Nick's fold. The poker table can be mean and brutal, so it's nice to hear an understanding and compassionate voice
Was there to see it Brad! I was one of the “strangers” wishing you luck. Hope we didn’t jinx you! LOL. Great job! Love your content man!! Thanks!!

Talk about a comeback! I was devastated at the beginning when you lost that big pot. You kept your cool and managed to outplay your opponents to make it all the way back to even. Absolutely awesome game, glad you made it out of there Brad!
Awesome session Brad The way you came back was some gripping stuff!! Also the quality of your vlogs including the voiceover is great. You explain your play with simplicity and humor which makes it easier to follow. Cheers!!
Amazing vlog brad I would love to see more of these! Thank you for inspiring me to play poker a few months ago. I started watching you and I didn’t even understand how poker worked but over time I figured it out and it is such a blast watching your vlogs. The only think I don’t like is that there isn’t a new vlog every second.
WOW, what a session! Brad, kudos for extending yourself that way. You played YOUR GAME and came back to even. I really enjoy your stream and hope to watch you play in Austin one day. Thumbs way up.
You know you’re playing high stakes when being down 2k can be considered even lol
This has become my favorite youtube channel. Keep it up Brad!
You played so well Brad, insane! Good to see you got your mojo back. Love your content bro, keep it up
Probably the best poker video I have ever seen. See you recover like you did was absolutely insane to watch. Thank you.
“Welcome back to the poker vlog. This is the episode you’ve all been waiting for”
What. a. comeback! Well played mate, so happy to see you recoup!
From watching Brad playing 2/5 then jumping to 10/20 was a big jump for him. Hyped for him.
Props to both you and Nick for playing that huge respect for everyone who played outside their comfort range and what an amazing battle back from being down the cost of a sports car
I appreciate your effort, showing us all of this stuff and going into details. Very interesting! :)
My heart is racing just watching. Thanks for playing at these insane stakes.
Love to see the come back and the grind!

One of the best vlogs to date, Brad! Seriously, well done. Can't wait for the updates to The Lodge live stream to be complete, thats the only way this vlog could have been better. Thanks again for all of the content. We appreciate it!
I've been waiting for this! I was watching the stream when it glitched on the 3 rd hand I was devastated when I heard the news. Absolute madness you fighting back.
Brad, I love the way you bring your emotions to the videos. That's the human factor that makes your videos great... 👍
Thanks Richard. It was easy with this one, there were a lot of emotions throughout.
I could not play with you this week MGM Detroit. My bankroll is 1/2. Can't wait to see the vlog. PS. I'm trying to promote a Michigan MUG. Ask Wolfgang for details...
@@BradOwenPoker Can see it on your face bro looks like you shittin bricks the whole time. Excellent content!!
Awesome content! I feel the same type of pressure when my home-game upped the stakes at a point which I was no longer comfortable with playing considering my gambling budget. Keep up the good work Brad!
Love the mental grit and making the comeback with solid play and great instincts in a tough lineup. First trip to the Lodge coming up in a few weeks, so excited. You’re still the best!
Massive stakes like that must be scary as hell at least when the money matters. Great job playing your game and seeing how it goes. Props to Doug as well for helping fund the others allowing you make a comeback.
Let’s gooo Brad, I’m one month off of quitting poker so living vicariously through you. Keep doing great things brother
Bouncing back from that big loss showed real character and cojones. Respecting your fellow players was pure class. This and the poker is why I watch your content.
Your videos have gotten me so much more interested in poker, and when I was in Vegas last week, I finally worked up the courage to play my first live poker (in a casino) at the Venitian at the 1/3 table. Had a blast playing for the 2.5hrs I played, and ended up winning a little over $1k on my first try. Honestly can say it's thanks to you and some other UA-camrs who've built up my love for the game and only hope that grows. Winning some cash never hurts either ;)
Nice job!!
Kudos to Nick for laying down his pocket jacks. It was an impressive lay down I wouldn't have made if I had the money and guts( I don't have either)to play these stakes against a bunch of pro's as an amateur
I’m an amateur, and I only play amateurs. I was taught if you suspect a race against 2 overs , then you should consider chip management. A lot more chips than opponent make the call. Less chips then opponent fold. Even if your jacks are pretty, you will lose that race more times than you think. If you are 2% ahead in that race, those odds are for the LONG RUN. Playing poker 4 days a month will amount to you losing a lot of races. Chip management, and common sense is how I play poker. NOT how someone who plays every day, but someone who plays 1 day a week, and it works great for me. Nick laying down jacks was an awesome play.
@@albertforletta1498 I actually like that thinking, I play on a small bankroll due to not having much money. I often find myself in this position a lot and unsure of what to do. Will defo take this into my thinking next time
@@albertforletta1498 I'm an amateur as well. But in this specific hand I would have played the odds because very often Brad would've had a smaller pair. I do play quite often tho but not professionally. My thinking would've been that Brad has been raising quite often and cat be good every time. There's also only few combinations that beat JJ.
Awesome how you break down big spots in terms of how much money each situation is, with the "down payment" of a house! Also a small loss after a battle like that, always feels like a win. Congrats Bradley Sir
Thank you Brad for getting involved in games like these and providing this content for us!!!
Well done, Brad. Hell of a job pulling it together and recouping the losses, the grind is real, even at those stakes!
I didn’t even know anything about poker until you came around and kept me interested in poker and now you have been teaching me!
Love the content you've been putting out lately!! Keep up the great work man! Any future in the Hustler Live Shows?
I really don't enjoy playing on stream. I'm ok doing it at the Lodge since it helps our own room but I feel pressure to play in an entertaining way rather than how I enjoy playing - everyone has an incentive to do silly things making it more like a circus than a normal poker game. The stream from this vlog was the only one from monster meet up week that I didn't feel was like that since the amount of money everyone was risking was significant.
@@BradOwenPoker is this why Doug plays every hand? Lol or does he always do that
@@BradOwenPoker Shouldn't it be extremely profitable though? Or would people just see you as an asshole if you refused to put forward the 3rd straddle to $1600 or played "boring" in general?
I love the fact you show your losses.....you are the only one that does that. I appreciate it
You took the time to provide context and to respect your opponent. That’s class. One of the reasons why I keep coming back to this channel. I wouldn’t be able to play at that level. I can’t afford to lose that kind of money. You slogged it out. Huge respect.

not tonight. give me three stacks of high society!
IMO, Spreading these vlogs out every week like Brad does makes it harder to understand the mental toughness he had to play out that whole week and do what he did.... Dude's got nads of steel.
It's really nice to see you open up your game and play the table after you settled down following that big hit to begin the session... Really well played Brad, great video...
Brad I appreciate your honesty with the emotions. It makes me feel so much better that even the pros that I idolize battle tilt like the rest of us. Glad you made it out alive bruv!
Never played poker don’t think I ever will but this is so interesting watching you get better
Sincere question: how do you guys feel when walking around with that amount of your net worth in your backpack? I get anxious enough with a laptop in my bag, but $60k??? Seriously, how? Isn't security ever a concern?
God it feels like yesterday I started watching your vlogs and you were grinding out 2/5. Now your prepared to buy in for what was probably close to most of your bankroll back then. It’s amazing to see where you’ve come from and where you are.

Awesome video, thank for risking the biscuit for us, it was great to watch. Well done on the come back, you are tenacious!
Awesome session. You played your game at every turn--no obvious mistakes. Keep it up and keep sitting at the high stakes table. You absolutely deserve to be there.
Very skillfully played. I love how you realized, near the end, that the table had tightened up and used aggression to take advantage of it.
Incredible stuff Brad. Bring able to bounce back like that shows how much your skills have grown over the years, not to mention how mentally strong you had to be to battle back.
Always enjoyable to watch, GO Brad!! Getting into the zone takes a while. but once you're there, trust your cards.
Amazing session. Brad is a class act. Best of luck to him in the future.
I don't watch like I used to (got into other hobbies I watch videos on) but I love coming back and seeing how things are going. You're videos are always fun and your humor is great. It's crazy to see you in this game when I remember your first blogs at Red Rock playing 2-5. Keep it going brother and stay humble.

I've been seeing you live the past week and couldn't believe you've made it to the pro levels with Polk and others. You've come a long way since I first started following you. Great comeback.
what a player. amazing come back and just for the record, if anyone has any questions on if you are a good person, just get them to watch this video. I only learnt poker this year, and all thanks to you, I am really enjoying these videos
So happy and weirdly proud of Brad. Being down a new car's worth of cash in the opening of the game is horrible, and could have easily spiraled but battled back. Bravo, Brad. Great seeing you growing as a player!
