This Channel has really opened me up to trying things I was hesitant to try. Especially footwear. Ever since my time in the Marines, I've always stuck to hiking boots. Now my Heritage work chukkas are ky second favorite boot. Now I have good bags to add to my collection. My girlfriend says thanks for all your work.
Well first of all, thank you for your service! Secondly I’m really glad you’ve ventured out of your comfort zone and tried some of these new things. I try to cover the best quality stuff I can, especially at a good price. That way it’s worth your hard earned money and you’ll have it for a long time.
....And videos like this are why I subscribe to Carl! I would love to see some smaller leather jacket companies get reviewed like this. And it's also awesome to see the influence you have on your audience, those bags selling out so quickly shows just much your followers trust you
It’s a huge responsibility because I don’t want anyone wasting money on something that I recommend. I’d love to transition to more leather jackets, maybe next fall!
Thanks Carl, this bag looks amazing and it doesn't bring so much attention like some other shiny bags i've seen. My only concern for me personaly is how deep are the two compartments cuz sometimes I take with me bigger books.
Love that color on the bag! So with summer coming up, are you going to make a video about boots/shoes you recommend for the warmer months? Happy Easter and keep up the good work!
I went to indonesia last year and saw the magnitude of their leather industry. There were plenty of pretty good leather goods with fraction of the price of what other countries i visited offered. Indonesia leathers are very underrated. I source some of my leather materials direct from there. Mostly from Java.
@@CarlMurawski I'd be curious what you think of United By Blue. They more do outdoor gear but I got the bag because I like their environmental mission and they're local to Philly so I had to support that too. It's definitely similar looking to filson, organic wax cotton and veg tanned leather.
What's your opinion on the durability of the handles? Because the handles of the bag I have now ripped because of the weight of my laptop and adapter. I really like this bag, but that's my only concern
Another great review. I’m saving up to get the FC but now I’m torn between that and this one 😂. Ps I love your leather jacket reviews will there be another soon?
Wow, that’s a tough one. The Cravar are more rugged and less “refined” than the Satchel and Page. The Satchel and Page have shiny leather and zippers and that can be a turn off for some. Really it’s BMW and Mercedes though, they’re both excellent
Are you gonna review Cravar Rana camera bag as well? I'm thinking of getting one for camera/daily bag but not sure whether its as great as the FC and Alpha.
how does this briefcase compare to the Frank Clegg briefcase? I've recently discovered your site and the Frank Clegg site, now I'm just trying to decide on what bag to get (and how much to spend). Thanks.
Oh man... well I’ve only used the Alpha and the FC. I really like the exterior pockets on the FC and find myself using it more even though I like the look of the Alpha more.
Oh that's a tough one because they're so different. I think the edge goes to the S&P though, it's more refined and the level of finishing is better overall.
I have both actually, and they're very similar. The Jones 13 is made with leather that scratches and ages MUCH quicker. If you're a patina fan then thats the bag for you, but it's a little smaller than I'd have wanted. It wont fit my laptop, so just keep that in mind.
As always, you’re a solid salesman or in nowadays term an influencer. I shouldn’t watch all your videos otherwise I’ll be bankrupt buying all stuffs you recommend. 👍🏻
someday i will own a vegetable tanned briefcase and duffle bag in the future great video carl keep blast us with your great reviews.
I’m sure you will! Thanks for watching!
Great video, Carl. The Cravar Alpha comes off as a high value for the money leather bag. Thank you for introducing us to this brand.
Happy to help!!
Your videos haven't been showing on my feed, so I clicked the bell. You are the best guide to leather goods.
Thank you!!!

Excellent review of an excellent bag. Now if I could only decide between Cravar and Basader...
Oh jeeeze... the only choice is one of each!
Such an awesome channel Carl - keep up the great work
Another fine video presentation, very informative and useful to me. I really like your style, just a dash of humor and functional information.
Thank you, Carl. Exactly what I was looking for.
Fantastic!!!
Carl, thanks for your video. I ordered a Alpha 15 today. Cheers.
You’re going to love it! Keep me posted.
@@CarlMurawski I will. Thanks.
@@CarlMurawski I have received the briefcase today. It is even better than what I expected. Thanks to your recommendation.
Nice review. Actually, I’m interested with their Rana design.

Happy Easter and keep up the good work!
Definitely. People have been asking for that video and I’ll be sure to make it.

Great review. I'd get this bag if mine ever wears out or something for sure.
It’s an excellent piece

Sounds right up my alley, I’ll check them out now!
I wish the videos would mention the colors being displayed. I can’t find any videos that say which colors of the bags featured are.
If I had a use for these bags. I would buy one.
They are looking terrific.
Stay classy bud.
Thanks brother
It seems similar to Bule de Schauffe made in France but looks more rigid.
Great looking bag
Hi, Thanks for the review. Could you please tell me the dimensions of the laptop compartment?
What's your opinion on the durability of the handles? Because the handles of the bag I have now ripped because of the weight of my laptop and adapter. I really like this bag, but that's my only concern
I don’t own ANY kind of bags but damn Carl you make them sound sexy af 👀. Materials look so legit. Sweet video man.
Hahah thanks dude
do we have a purchase link from you?
its only fair, I found them through you
Unfortunately no, but it’s enough knowing you’ll be getting a smokin deal on an exceptional bag.
Another great review. I’m saving up to get the FC but now I’m torn between that and this one 😂. Ps I love your leather jacket reviews will there be another soon?
Definitely. I’ll be doing the history of the Schott Perfecto soo !
Any idea how well a small camera like a Fuji x100 would fit in this bag?
Excellent review. Would you recommend this over a satchel and page bag? I'll probably get either that or this in the coming weeks.

Maybe at some point, but I need to review a few other brands first.

thoughts on craver C.O. 15?
Which color did you like better? The espresso or the fox between both bags you have.
Well I like the espresso, but the Fox has begun to darken and wear in beautifully which should look incredible in a few months.
So which one do you prefer for daily bag from cravar? FC, alpha or Rana?
Oh man... well I’ve only used the Alpha and the FC. I really like the exterior pockets on the FC and find myself using it more even though I like the look of the Alpha more.
Hi Carl, between Cravar and Basader, which one would you choose?
Hi Carl, a choice between Cravar alpha 13 Fox vs. Satchel and Page Founder? Which one will you choose?
Oh that's a tough one because they're so different. I think the edge goes to the S&P though, it's more refined and the level of finishing is better overall.
When you bought your bag, did you have to pay customs or duty. I live in california
My Cravar just arrived from Indonesia. I live in California. The price on the website was all I paid...nothing more.
Hi .. what color is is the bag you are showing? Esspresso or foz brown?
This is the espresso model
Carl Murawski isnt the espresso more blackish rather than brown?
HI Carl.... you seem to have good taste in fashion. I am 5 feet 4 in tall... should I get the 15 or 13 version of the bag?
Those stud closures make me nervous about ever carrying books and a laptop in the bag :/
Carl, would you chose the Alpha 15 over the Nut Sac Jones 13?
I have both actually, and they're very similar. The Jones 13 is made with leather that scratches and ages MUCH quicker. If you're a patina fan then thats the bag for you, but it's a little smaller than I'd have wanted. It wont fit my laptop, so just keep that in mind.
Alpha or C.O?
This vs a nutsac satchel. Which one and why.
This. It’s all leather and even though it’s not made in the USA, it’s a real gem of a bag.
Whats the deal with the facebook group?

Haha sorry about that! I try to only cover products that are worth your money.
In terms of quality materials and craftsmanship, Cravar or Satchel and Page?
Any experience or plans to review Faire?
I wish it had a zipper closure. 😔
You prefer zippers? It’s interesting because some guys love them while others don’t. 🤷🏻♂️
Korchmar has 40% Off some of their styles
Camera's so zoomed in on your face. Barely able to see the bag properly.
Enjoy the view
