I've had this bag for about three years now. I actually prefer how it looks now compared to when I got it. It looks lived in. It's softened a bit, but still holds it shape very well. I also have their backpack and one of their wallets and have gifted one of their toiletry bags to a friend for his bday. The leather is very high quality. The only thing that I didn't really like from this brand was the phone case. It was gorgeous, but I destroyed mine pretty quickly.
I was curious about Satchel & Page and the detail given in this video is so beneficial when deciding on choosing a bag! Right down to how it pairs with different outfits! Thanks!
The color seems a bit different compared to the photos on the website. Lighter and a little pale instead of that crisp cappuccino color I see on the website. Of course I understand that leather is a natural product. But will it gets the color like on the website by time and using it?
yeah it is slightly different than their main promo photos of the bag, but their photos with the models look more similar to what it really is. It does have a warm tone to it - it’s not that it’s much paler than what’s on their site. That’s why we tried to capture it in different lighting and angles. I’ve also seen a 2 year review of the bag online and it didn’t look much different than what it looks like in our video. Hope that helps.
Just received mine, the half of rivets on the bag handle area came fully scuffed as if someone intentionally used a screwdriver to scratch it. The leather is amazing though. Was quite disappointed with their quality control tbh.
Hey, the rivets are going to look that way because they are solid copper and hand-set, so that means someone is physically hammering them in. They’re the most durable type of rivets you can get, I guess that’s the trade-off. but we didn’t really mind the look, combined with the antiqued brass hardware, it has a vintage feel. As the leather patinas and the bag ages maybe you won’t mind it so much?

I agree about the feet. Much better, as without it, the bottom can wear out fairly quickly.

Trying to decide between this and the Port….all look great.
Great video! Sounds like an ideal bag and extremely well made.
It really is!
Love it, trying to choose between this and the Executive!
Amazing! Both are great choices, you can’t really go wrong!
@@RadialTVsame here! I was wondering if these would be a tad too small for what I need. And wondering is the executive would be a tad too big. Hmmmmmm

Got mine on Black Friday and the color is spot on to website photos
Easy fix with high-quality leather conditioner and time, imo - what you described is a great start to build up a beautiful patina.
