I have exactly the same issues as you, where I do not have adequate quantity or placement of my own bio hair to secure the clips/combs... I have a receding hair line at front and at my temples, and the 1 or 2 I tried would swivel about as you demonstrate in the video. Can you share either a style/brand that works for you (and therefore, likely for me) or leave links to a few you might recommend. My hair color, volume and length is similar to yours... perhaps my color is just a tad more medium brown. THANKS so much for your candor. I thought I WAS THE ONLY ONE having this experience. As you mentioned here (or in the Ellen Wile Effects review, the placement of those clips simply does NOT work with those with thinning hairline and temple area... Uggg.... GREAT REVIEW.

Have you tried braiding some of your bio hair in the area of where the clips fall to give them more hair to hold onto?
