Karrina, I have been watching your videos for a while now and appreciate your detailed information. I have a question not related to these 3 new toppers, but the Amber topper you reviewed. My bio hair similar to yours. Im interested in amber due to straight chinese hair instead of burmese hair. Courtney works well for me but my recent purchase had color much darker than previous vanilla butter blonde ones and very rooted so i returned it. I live in texas and humidity keeps me busy trying to keep Courtney straight. My question is: did u have enough coverage in the back or was hair sparse with smaller cap size. That is my biggest concern and then if i do order getting similar vanilla butter blonde color I am used to. Thank you!
@@lindapenberthy9179 hi Linda! Thanks for your comment! The Chinese hair does tend to be more manageable in humid climates. For me, the amber doesn’t provide quite enough coverage in the back. Partly because I wear a topper that is very blonde and my bio hair in the back tends to look too dark, but partly because I have so little bio hair left. Since you know what color and cap construction work best for you, you may consider placing a custom order with UniWigs. You could request a quote for an upgraded Courtney made with Chinese hair instead of the Burmese hair. If you already have a. Upgraded Courtney, this might be a great option for you because one topper couple be kept wavy while the other straight! Feel free to comment or DM me on instagram with more questions. @@Wighair_selfcare I didn't know I could request that customization using different hair, so I thank you for that suggestion. I returned a courtney due to color and thought I'd try cali blonde but I have grown to like the vanilla butter blonde. The one I received had lots of brown and brown roots unlike others I purchased. Thank you so much for replying. I was tempted to purchase amber but had feeling back would be too sparse. When you review toppers would you give a good still picture of back to get an idea of coverage please?
Unfortunately the hair quality with Uniwigs is poor. The hair looks great before it’s washed but after is a frizzy mess, especially hard for those of us that wear our hair straight.
Hi! I am so glad you mentioned this. Some of the toppers use Burmese hair, Burmese hair will dry naturally curly or wavy. If you do not like the natural wave or curl, I would suggest trying the Chinese hair option. I believe they offer both option for a few of their toppers. Personally, I like the natural wave but it's not for everyone! Especially if you live in a humid climate. I hope to post a video soon showing the difference between the two types of hair. I hope it will be helpful for others!
