I have 2 questions:
1. Why do you specify Event count > 0 for Purchase? Wouldn't it be enough to simply select Purchase when you at least want 1 Purchase? I understand that you specify Event count when you want the event to be at least counted more than 3 times.
2. Why do specify time as 7 days under event count, isn't that what Membership duration is for?

great tutorial! Just one question, each time I start to set a new audience segment I've to type the event to put as condition while you can find it as dropdown option. Is it correct also in this way?
Example: new segment in which you want to collect last purchasers, going in "Include users when" I've to manually type the event name "purchase" cause I only have "in_app_purchase" in my dropdown.

You could choose page_location and then select a condition suitable for your case (contains/matches regex/begins with, etc.)
Hey, I can't see 'purchase' events on the list (only in-app-purchase but I have a web product). Do I need to create this event?
If your event is not collected automatically in GA4, you would have to set it up to be able to work with it, which is the case with a purchase event. You should implement it first to be able to use it for the audience setup.
Is there a way to create an audience who visited one specific page only? Exclude if they visited other pages as well before or After that specific page.
yes, go to audiences and set up a condition that describes all users for a specific page for example page view. Then you would like to exclude all other URLs, or choose that the URL need to contain "xyz". Test the audience and see if the right numbers are shown.
How can I create audience 1. who have visited website more than 3 time 2. Average page view per session is > 20 3. Visited website last 540 days

What would you typically use these audiences for? Remarketing?
You could utilize audiences in different ways. You could use them for reporting in GA4 as you can select an audience as a dimension in your reports and create filters, for example. You could also export audiences to Ads platforms if you want to do remarketing. Additionally, you could turn your audiences into events by utilizing the Audience Triggers feature and even mark them as conversions.
How do you target all users who have been on your website in the last 30 days? The default is "user_engagement" but these users have been on the site longer than 10 seconds?
Hi Rory, you could go with the following condition: session_start Event Count > 0 in the Last X days. You can select the Most recent time period in the settings and provide the number of days you need.
@@MeasureSchool if I leave "include users when:" as blank does that also work? I have then permanently excluded users who filled out our conversion event
@@RoryLees'd suggest you specify your own rules at your pleasure. i'd go for including scroll - percent scrolled matches regex 50 - and timer for 1 min. however, as i mentioned you can adjust them accordingly
can you send those audiences to google ads then ?
Yes, the audiences will become available in your Google ads account if your GA4 property is linked.
@@Mploscar Yes, absolutely. You can use them for targeting. There are 2 prerequisites: Google Ads linking and enabled Google Signals
can someone put all these audiences' step-by-step processes in one place in a pdf?
I create an audience based on source/medium in traffic acquistion which are 9 but the numbers arent shown even I tried to message them using firebase cloud messaging but didnt work , I used dynamic link with utm source and utm medium
