Since my wife passed Jerry and Gilly have kept me going. I have something to look forward to every week. As a community we all learn about all aspects of aviation together. We all love it.
Best planespotting channel in the world! Jerry and Gilly work hard to put on a first class show every time. I saw you interview Jerry live. His passion, personality and humor are very rare these days. Been a member for 1 year and NEVER miss a show! Great work on the interview.
Thank you. And as I told Jerry - we needed to get him in action - and his first concern was you guys and making sure you still got a quality show while me and Mike did our thing. 🎉👍❤️
I watched you interview Jerry live on his show, we all had fun watching you conduct it live👍Jerry is so passionate about aviation and so is his sidekick Gilly who runs the show from home and does an amazing job keeping the streams going! I'm proud to be a member of their amazing channel for almost 3 years, great work with the interview👍
Nicely filmed and put together in way that catches the true essence of Jerry's personality and enthusiasm for all matters relating to aviation.....Well done sir.
Thank you Michael. My photographer Mike Nederbrock ( check out his UA-cam channel ) is amazing. Award winning photojournalist. He turned me on to Jerry. I may have written the package but Jerry was the star and Nike made it fly. Amazing shots.
Jerry, Gilly and the BJTV family are just fab! I’m proud to be a member (even if I get odd looks from people when I mention it!) and look forward to every show, especially the ‘windy’ ones! Jerry’s favourite of course! It stuns me that I love it so much as I am terrified of flying. Love planes though. Yes, it’s weird! However, I really do think that being a part of BJTV is helping that fear a lot, so thanks J and G and everyone on the channel.
Jerry is amazing. One day in April '22 I saw one of his shows, actually, it was storm Eunice. That was it, it reawakened my love of watching planes. His humor is just too funny sometimes. That's also part of what makes his shows amazing. Having a love for England since I was a kid, that really brought both together. I watch his shows twice a week and even got my son hooked; we both go out to do plane spotting and I get to see my favorite plane in person, the British Airways Speedbird A350. Because of Jerry, I have to thank him for finally getting to see the big one on the runway, the 747, after I last saw a Jumbo fly right over as I was driving back from work fifteen years ago.
Awh! That’s awesome. As a reporter - I love people who have PASSION behind what they do. Jerry LOVES what he does and brings that emotional energy and excitement to each of his broadcasts. Thanks for sharing your story. I will pass this on to Jerry. 🎉🙏 ✈️. Happy 2023 Dave Allgood
I came across BigJet TV by accident about two months ago and quickly got sucked into the rabbit hole. Now I’m a full member of the channel. Absolutely love everything about it.
Jerry & Gilly’s garden plane watching during covid was a god send and help keep me sane along with another couple of feeds that I watch, and long May Big Jets continue.
I've been a member for 5 years. I even went to visit Jerry when he was in Boston and watched him do the show live. What a great day!!!! I love my Big Jet Family!
Jerry and the team are legends! As an aviation tragic, his knowledge, style, humour, and 'the best weather is stormy weather' all make for a fab channel - love it!
Best aviation show in the world. Nice family of people. I’m grateful to be a part of this family. I’ve learned so much here. Gilly and Jerry best in the business.
The BJTV team are brilliant and Jerrys unique style is what keeps us all coming back time after time you never know what he’s going to sing/say next but it’s usually hilarious and his aviation knowledge is extensive it’s blatantly obvious he loves what he does 👏👏👏
I am in the UK. My wife knows that if Jerry is on YT on my laptop, then it is going onto our large TV on the wall. She knows that Wednesday's/ Sunday's (and maybe other days) when Jerry is doing a show, she has no chance of using the TV., while Jerry has a show running. Jerry is the man. Loved the Anchorage trip, especially when a 747 was in the same shot as a DC-3. Fantastic stuff.
Love Jerry, Gilly and the show. I love turning it on Sunday morning when they are live at Heathrow and making my wife watch too. She won't watch football or F1 with me, but she doesn't walk away when I turn on Big Jet TV!
hello is RAFIK from algeria I've been going to Heathrow for plane spotting for las 20 years i love watching your vlogging of big jet keep it up i just come back from antarctica is a wow factor.
Honestly Jerry and Gilly are household names in our home, we sit down and cast bjtv on our 50 inch tv, or I’m in the kitchen cooking and I got my phone playing a stream. His positive energy just rubs off on you, you can’t possibly be depressed for long while watching and their channel I know has helped a lot of people with their mental health, especially during lockdown and beyond. And Gilly is quite often the unsung hero but her part in this is huge too ❤
I found BJTV after an internet search back in about 2018 or it might even have been late 2017 - either way I very quickly got hooked and have been watching ever since! It's been such a thrill to see the channel grow and gain such well deserved publicity, which is all down to the hard work of Jerry behind the camera and Gilly behind the scenes 👍. My most ❤️ UA-cam channel bar none ✈️ 🙂
Thanks 🙏 for taking time to post a wonderful comment - of course it’s a tribute to Jerry’s passion for what he does and his one-of-a-kind style! Happy new year !
Absolutely LOVE Big Jet TV 😂 Jerry & Gilly make such a great team and the channel members are always great in the chat! I never thought one of my favourite YT channels would be about plane spotting haha
Great piece, guys 👍 He is a one-off. Over the years, airline pilots, executives, and engineers have joined the family. This leads to more exclusives, VIP access, and more exotic airports.
I found Big Jet TV about a month before the COVID struck the world. During every lock down in the UK, Jerry and Gilly reached into their archives and streamed an old show every day, often twice a day. For months and months, they shared their time with us, created aircraft recognition shows using models and built a monthly interactive aviation quiz that was a huge hit. (And an intensive labor of love on their part - research and programming for each quiz took quite a bit of time.) What was a strong community before COVID became even stronger as we gathered to take a break from and support each other through the horrible situation the pandemic created. Now that the world is flying again, we’re back to normal programming and loving every new take off and landing. This video shows you why. 😃
THERE's a Few about on UTube SDTV Etc. BUT Jerry an Gilly who We Don't See ?. Are TOPS in What They Do Jerry is a Jack the Lad . He Loves His Work And We are Always There With Him .Come Rain or Shine
'Look he's got a big smile on his face' was a long haul Qatar 🇶🇦 plane landing at Heathrow in bad windy weather, then as the wheels touched down the plane tippy toed side to side which totally shocked Jerry mid sentence and he actually held his breath. 😬 😃✈️
I don't like them. Reason why? They limit everything for non-subscribers and non-members. You can't even comment on their live streams and you sure as hell couldn't comment back in the day a year ago. Reason I'm commenting on here? I just want to share how greedy they are when it comes to people who are new to them and aren't members or subs of the channel. They are just very unfair. Plus, I still couldn't comment on his livestreams. This is why I don't like people who do this.
Ive been watching Jerry since those early Periscope days back in 2016. The first and the best Aviation Live Streamer. Really nice piece by Mike and Dave. Great to see after watching you record it live during the Alaska shows.
Hello Michael! My cameraman on this shoot turned me onto this story - I had no idea who Jerry Dyer was - driving to this shoot. Wow - what a treasure this man is. I laughed the entire shoot and I just love how much he loves what he does and cares about his viewers. Good stuff. 🙏🎉
If he could film the planes and refrain from talking so much it would be great but he sings sniffs and bs his way through the livestreams which is a great shame, can only get better we hope.
I find it interesting that you commented here. You chose to post. A ‘negative’ comment on something you have ‘entire’ control over. The volume knob. … and your choice to watch? Again is your choice. Jerry and his channel offer a unique and personal take on planes. That’s it. There are so many ways to say something ‘constructive’ - but you chose to be a bit ‘ destructive.’ Jerry is just a guy doing what he created. Not sure why that bothers you so much. Following a passion and sharing that passion - is a beautiful thing. Maybe you look past your own prejudices and see the JOY in what Jerry & Gilly do. Thank you. Dave.

I agree. Such a shame that what should be a great UA-cam channel is spoiled by that grating commentary. The presenter wants to make himself the star of the production, rather than the fantastic variety of aircraft at Heathrow. So much waffle dressed up as ‘informed opinion’.
