Just doing a drive-by suggestion. You guys should one day react to The Leftovers. It's showrunner also did Lost and it has a lot of overlap with the themes in Lost. It's imo a spiritual successor to Lost and its incredible. There's a lot of mystery, incredible writing and incredible acting.
You guys would love a movie called Public Enemies it's based on a true story of a bank robber / gangster in the 1930s/1940s played by Johnny Depp , Great film !
A British plays an American. An American plays a Russian. A Swedish plays a German. An Australian plays an Italian. Such a good movie. And Henry is so good as Solo. Just love that detached sense of humour.

The Man From U. N. C. L. E was actually a TV show back in the 60s. They planned to reboot it to a film franchise, but the plan went kaput after the movie didn't get the box office they needed and also the whole Armor Hammer scandal thing
I can kind of see why they went with Daniel Craig just because Cavill would be a really similar Bond to Pierce Brosnan, imo, but yeah, he fits the role well.
Fun fact: The actor who plays Donald "Ducky" Mallard in NCIS (the former medical examiner for the team who now serves as the team historian) portrayed Kuryakin in the original Man from UNCLE series.
I watched this in the theatres with friends and I went in completely blind. Like didn’t even know it was an action or spy movie. The name certainly gave nothing away. And man it was such a treat, glad you guys are watching it!
This movie is so severely underrated, I love it! When I first watched it I wasn't expecting it to be so funny. I wish it had gotten a sequel, this had the potential to be such a great film franchsise. Shame it never happened.
I cannot explain how excited I was when I saw this upload. This is quite possibly one of my favorite movies and I recommend it to everyone, it didn't get nearly enough love and Henry is so damn good in this. The editing, humor, music, I love everything here. I'm glad so many of the jokes landed so well and it's always fun to watch people appreciate how Guy Ritchie puts together an action sequence because he really is a master at it. The chemistry is really the biggest sell for me though, I totally buy in to the slowly developing friendship and can see is progressing into the relationship in the show.
and yet, it was not one.. it was a Trabant. (google "trabant") Truly shitty german super cheap car, and the body is made from sort of a mix of plastic and carbon on later models if i remember correctly :P Its so light that we once took one of these, and just manually lifted it over a fence with 4 people, each grabbing a wheel.
I'm so glad they watched this. I had such an unhealthy obsession with it when it first came out and honestly I still love watching this even after so many watches. Guy Ritchie is honestly such a good director. I wish this film had come out while I had still been in film studies cause I would of 100% covered the cinematography in this film for my final assignment
My sister was going through a really rough breakup, and to take her mind of it, I suggested we go watch something at the cinema. Neither of us are big action movie watchers, but we didn't want to see a romcom, for obvious reasons, and this was in theatres so I was like f it, Henry Cavill is in it, we like him - one of the best decisions I'd made, we loved it, and it did its job, served as a perfect distraction. Such a shame it wasn't more popular at the time.
I never saw the original TV series, but I absolutely LOVE this movie. Every actor was amazing and I love the chemistry between the U.N.C.L.E. team. I have rewatched this so very many times. Might have to rewatch it again when I'm done here. Glad you reacted to this.
This is such a fun movie, Guy Ritchie expressss his signature style throughout the entire film. The three leads are all excellent, plus the score by Daniel Pemberton is really well done. If this would have came out in 2016 or not in 2015 it could have done better. Glad you guys are reacting to this.
I remember seeing this at the cinema and enjoying myself a lot. The chemistry between the leads is BRILLIANT. So glad you guys got to watch this and enjoyed it so much. It shows how good Henry can be a comedy, I think. I wish more films allowed him to show that off. The original show is also wonderful.
I remember the original Man from UNCLE series, and I really enjoyed this film when it came out and still have it in my collection. I would class it as good old fashioned family viewing, as opposed to some more modern films where they seem to try so hard to overdo any bit of violence till it puts you off watching
at the end i think you are referencing Ana de Armas who learned the lines for her first english job phonetically (but has gone on to be in Knives out, Bond and now Oscar nominated). Alicia Vikander is already an Oscar winner for the Danish girl, but most would recognize her from Tomb Raider, ex Machina, Jason Bourne or Burnt with Bradley Cooper
Henry Cavill and Guy Ritchie are set to film a WW2 film in Turkey. I am secretly hoping it is a ruse and they are filming Man from UNCLE 2. They cast Alan Ritchson so here is hoping he is playing Kuryakin if they are!
I wish they'd just recast Illya, it's not like Cavill can't have that same chemistry with someone else. Bring Alicia Vikander and Hugh Grant back and it'd still be good.
There was not going to be a sequel or series after the film didn't get great reviews or make enough at the box office. It was 2015. There were no plans that 'the Armie Hammer stuff' nixed.

How lucky is Alicia Vikander? Gets to work with Hugh Grant, Henry Cavill and Armie Hammer. Married to Michael Fassbender. That is a lot of Man Meat right there!
I love this movie! I loved the original show. I always had a crush on Ilya, even though Napoleon was the lady's man. A cool call back to the original TV show. Ilya never kisses the girl. He comes close, but never consummates. That's pretty much Napoleon's job.
One of my favorite movie's! Wish we got a sequel but the way things went with Armie... it's very unlikely unless they recast which would be fine, but they'd need to find someone who'd fit the role even better than Armie in my opinion. Either way, it's an underrated movie, so glad you guys reacted to it!
