And Archie tries to raise the money by having a car wash... ...because Lili, Camila, and Madelaine made it clear that they weren't going to do that scene.

The tribute episode Luke Perry was especially sad for me because my mother passed away in August just a few months before this aired and we were about as close as Archie and his dad in the show so seeing this portrayed really hit home for me
Never underestimate the power of sheer morbid curiosity. It may not make sense to more logical people how a show as insane as Riverdale has gotten can still be popular, but there are plenty of less logical people who genuinely want to see what happens next and how they're going to top the most recent bit of wildly crazy antics.
Episode 1 Season 4 was the only episode that makes sense and made me feel something besides deep confusion and frustration I cried all throughout the episode because you could really see the feelings of the actors, and it was sad. It was a beautiful tribute RIP Luke Perry

Exactly! That's why I think the entire thing is an act. Alice, edgar and everyone at the farm were in on it. It was just too much like a parody, he was portrayed like some ridiculous maniacal caricature of a villain. And I think that that was done on purpose. sort of! so a spin-off comic from archie comics was made called “riverdale”, which was much much darker with sex and murder and all that, that’s actually what inspired the show.

The tribute episode Luke Perry was especially sad for me because my mother passed away in August just a few months before this aired and we were about as close as Archie and his dad in the show so seeing this portrayed really hit home for me

Never underestimate the power of sheer morbid curiosity. It may not make sense to more logical people how a show as insane as Riverdale has gotten can still be popular, but there are plenty of less logical people who genuinely want to see what happens next and how they're going to top the most recent bit of wildly crazy antics.

Episode 1 Season 4 was the only episode that makes sense and made me feel something besides deep confusion and frustration
I cried all throughout the episode because you could really see the feelings of the actors, and it was sad. It was a beautiful tribute
