Yes I've noticed this also especially around the beginning of the season, But it never concerns me because my phone always ringing being solo and seasoned I can only take on so much so I pass jobs on to other guys every year. The way I see it there's plenty of grass to mow and always will be I guess some of them want last more than a season or two, when the rubber hits the road breakdowns, continuous heat etc. Only the strong really survive out here for the long run💯💪🏾
Yes near Austin there is a lot of competition and I’m also noticing that a lot are adding junk removal and per waste removal services which I never used to see. But I don’t think about them and just look at how I can grow my own business and stand out. Next season I will be getting my applicators license since I have so many clients request they want me to take care of that as well.
I’m up in North Dallas I have seen increase in landscapers out there not really concern been in the business a long time solo operator I see him come and go like the other guy said the strong will survive
Its still early in the season. Some will drop off as soon as the heat really turns up. Most just trying to get some quick cash. As long as you do good work you'll last.
Absolutely, very saturated… have to say that I myself am one of those guys. But I am licensed and insured and not even a year in business. Also working a part time job, but here in SWFL. There’s enough grass for everyone and a tremendous amount of haggling…be positive and productive.
