My answer was always to add about $10 to what my first gut reaction was when I came up with a number. So If I first thought $40 the price was quoted at $50. I'd rather work it out at first than to have to ask for an increase. Increases are warranted based on inflation, especially when gas doubles in cost. So a 10-15% increase on the average yard. I hope that all makes sense.
Glad I found your channel man, on the fence about a new mower and really leaning into a wright 32 I’m also in Tx(San Antonio )and about to go full time next season currently have a 36 liberty z zero turn and it’s great but I want a stand on and wanna stick with scag but that wright is good for the price,
Thanks for the comment bro 😬.. I’ve used both and prefer the wright. Scag is very heavy and it was rutting a lot of my properties. Also almost 2-3k more expensive. The wright is a great mower IMO
Great video bro! I have customers who call me all the way from humble. They always ask if I know anyone over there. I am not sure if you go that far east or if you are taking on any more customers, but I can definitely start to name drop you bro. I am from Spring, have family and friends in Spring. Used to service over there, but just too far for me lol
I don’t agree with changing the price after 1 or two visits. Seems like bad customer service to me. If I was your customer, i would be salty, I would pay for it but just have a bad feeling. I would change it as the new season approaches. But never after 1or2 visits.- just upsell them on a weekly maintenance plan for the flower beds to make up for the money. Or try to get a google review form them. That’s worth more then the $5 your trying to get. I think you learn from more this way and you are more carful about it … my 2cents. Great video and topic #salute
Can you make a video on how you calculate your cost like gas , do you have tight route or do you have specific mile you have to go to the other house . PLEASE
Quick advice, get better with the edging, from experience homeowners look at the most insignificant things. If you missed just one strain of grass they drop you.

I just keep all receipts and add them @ end of the month. Ideally I like to be within 5 mile radius of all my property
I’m still learning pricing been doing better at it can’t wait for next year to go hard from Houston
Practice makes progress 💯
Exactly I won’t lie some I underbid on a clean up just to get them as a weekly or biweekly customer
Good information. Thanks for the video.
Thank you 👍🏼

Do you charge that amount per each visit to the property? or monthly?
Each visit
I guess if your work is that good your costumers will understand 👍
Absolutely 💯
Those are KB houses right??
I believe so
