This was scary & unbelievable that the Viet Cong lived down in these tunnels for weeks. My daughter went in one tunnel & said it was small & she needed to get out ASAP. We then went to Hoi Ann. I fell in love again. I had 3 dresses made within a little over 24 hours. I loved the old feeling of this town. This is the Vietnam War sentiment I wish all Americans could possess. The acknowledgement of it being a government-powered, not citizen-driven, atrocity and empathy for the native people of Vietnam, so many who still live with the generational trauma and damage to this day ❤️‍🩹

@allegedlyandfacts I'd say a large percentage share my last name. Unsure of exact estimates but I read close to 60%? I also read this may be a result to people at that time wanting to associate with the Nguyen dynasty to not be persecuted. Not sure if there's any truth to all that as I didnt thoroughly look into it further 😕.
