    This is lovely! Such an economical and greener way to make lei. It is quite easy just a bit time consuming however worth it at the end! I am trying it out and will make it for my sis coming graduation. thanks for this tutorial!

    Pretty cool lei video, this is such a cheap but awesome idea, and you’re not killing flowers, although, nothing beats a sweet smelling flower lei😊

    • @saff96
      @saff96 7 років тому

      Kate Chang i tried it out and only the 2 colors that are on the outside are mostly seen! i tried to do red white and blue and u could mostly see just the red and blue; the white peeped out every now and then but it wasnt obvious. and it was a bit harder to twist since it was so thick :/ i think it depends on how you order/layer the paper as well bc i did another 3 color combo in this order: red blue white and since you can kind of see through white the blue was more obvious. i hope this helped!!

    also wondering if this would work by folding the paper in small bits before threading, and maybe saving bit of time :/ Don't want to take an hour making this for a costume dinner :/ haha will only be there for an hour!
