I'm glad someone has brought back this kind of lei. I'm 75 and we used to make these back in the 60's. We also made booze lei by using the small bottles of liquor you can buy at the liquor store. I guess everything old is new again. I don't know if they still sell the lei made out of the paper wrapped crack seed from china. Instead of dollar bills we used either silver dollars or 50 cent pieces. Great video keep up the interesting videos

Ive never made a candy lei before but planning on doing so next month for my niece kindergarten promotion. I do have a question concerning the length. Would this length be to long for 6 year olds? Or is this the standard candy lei for all ages?
