When you first picked up the sandwich I said to myself that you will lose one of the chunks of chicken! LOL. The bakalava looks amazing. Not into sweets but I would have tried.
Thanks for the Toronto food reviews, it gives me new ideas. Holy Chuck and Astoria are on my list right now. I still have to watch your other experiences. As an Etobicoke resident working downtown a day a week, I don't go North or East of the downtown core often but your videos inspire me to venture out in that direction!
Thank you for all of the videos you've been making lately and for all the lives you've been doing for very long time and the videos are been a big fan of yours for a long time I'm glad you're having fun over there and Canada Canada Canada Canada stay safe and well keep doing what you do on your channel you do very well like I said you are my favorite you are
A little piece of Astoria in Toronto! Souvlaki looked great. I always judge a greek place by their tzatziki, spanakopita and gyros. And you got baklava too - you must have been hungry lol !!
Those fries look really good the pita sandwich looks similar to gyro. I'm glad you found a good place and baklava is one of my favorites! Mmm I love it!
Good Wednesday Afternoon My Friend IAM Glad That You Are Having A Wonderful Time In Canada Thank You So Much For Sharing Another Extraordinary Video With All Of Us Much Blessings And Love Always Ms British Gray From Tampa Florida :)
You're OK man. I Don't comment on your channel a lot but maybe I should. I like how you said you might try this Astoria restaurant "just because" and you came through. I really like anything to do with Greek, Italy, Korea, Mexican, Chinatowns and other walkable neighborhoods matter what city they are in. Keep it up Dog! You are killing it!
THE ABSOLUTE BEST TZATZIKI IN THE WORLD ;-) I USED TO LIVE IN THE AREA BACK IN THE 90'S - I LIVE IN DALLAS TEXAS NOW BUT STILL CRAVE IT - I'M COMING UP IN EARLY AUGUST AND WILL BE MEETING MY FRIENDS AT ASTORIA!!! I CAN'T WAIT!
A home away from home , Souvlaki and baklava yummy 😋 Astoria restaurant has good size portions at an excellent price , what travelers are looking for if your on a budget.
I can't denigrate souvlaki, but for me, Greek restaurants are to be assesed by their Kalimari, my favorite dish, (though its possible thats just my memories of the ouzo and retsina.)🙂
Oh, Gosh, AK, that Chicken Sandwich looks Really Good!! I really like Fried Chicken & strips & salad!! When You said "Tastes just like my hometown, the Greek food I ate in Astoria, Queens" closed caption worded it as "my hometown like we all that hey there's a story of Queens." I enjoy your content for years, but do not understand why you title videos "New Yorker tries Greek food",etc... You say you moved to Miami, yet many video titles would not give that impression. If you live in Florida now,why not title videos "Floridian tries Greek food?" Florida's been through so much in recent weeks with the devastating impact of hurricane Ian. Some support for your new home would be great..
He's a native New Yorker and has lived there majority of his life, so it makes sense for him to still identify himself as a New Yorker. He has covered Florida quite extensively for half a year and will continue to do so when he returns. Is that not enough of a support for the state?
You deserve good meals with all the hard work you put into your videos, all of the walking. Your miles give us smiles.👍
