- N.a.v. een medische noodsituatie van een patiënt heeft het ambulancepersoneel een aanvraag gedaan voor motorbegeleiding vanuit Scheveningen naar het HAGA Ziekenhuis in Den Haag.
Deze aanvraag doen zij bij de meldkamer ambulance en nadat deze is goedgekeurd komt de aanvraag bij de meldkamer politie binnen.
Deze stuurt vervolgens de motorrijders van Team Verkeer aan. Eenmaal ter plaatse maakt de commandant van de motorrijders afspraken met de ambulancechauffeur m.b.t. de route en het soort transport (glijdend/spoed/langzaam/snel etc.)

@@nordlicht9877 Difference is, the officer is trained to drive like that, whereas the cyclist was just a "trut" as the officer put accurately.
@@Tyrope And the officer is going with lights and sirenes, warning other drives of a changing traffic situation, and they're as you said trained to go through traffic quickest and safest. If an officer tells you to stop and stay in place, he has a reason for it. He knows something is coming and you just have to listen to that.
Maybe it was a misunderstanding. At first he signaled stop and she slowed down , but then she saw him waving to move along and thought it was meant for her. That's what it looks like anyway.

Snap ik, maar was denk ik een misverstandje, zodra ze hem ziet zwaaien naar de auto's begint ze met trappen. Waarschijnlijk dacht ze dat het voor haar bedoeld was.

Als je op de fiets op een veilige plek staat met loeiende sirenes om je heen, blijf je toch staan?
Er was geen enkele reden voor haar om door te fietsen.
Ongelooflijk domme trut is volledig correct.
@@TheBertjeT Alleen daarvoor kreeg ze een stopteken... en om dan te gaan fietsen zonder te kijken wat het overige verkeer doet, wat gewoon door reed zag ze niet, door niet te kijken zag ze dus ook de 2e prio 1 politiemotor over het hoofd. Je zou zeggen dat je op de agent blijft focussen (die regelt op dat moment het verkeer). Het enige wat blijkbaar in haar hoofd is blijven hangen is dat ze voorrang heeft op de voertuigen, want zo gaat het altijd. Dat het nu even anders is kon ze blijkbaar zo snel niet verwerken en ging ze gewoon verder met fietsen. De auto's stoppen wel. De reactie van de agent is een oprechte uiting van frustratie en ik moest even lachen ondanks dat het eigenlijk niet om te lachen was. Die dame lag bijna onder een prio 1 motor. Slim is anders
Idd domme actie, maar die agenten nemen ook grote risico's door met 110 km/h over een kruising te jagen en 135 km/h in de bebouwde kom.
@@martinderks3421 als je kijkt zie je hoe snel die ambulance er weer bij is, dat betekent dus dat het tempo serieus hoog ligt. Dat is niet omdat iemand zijn teen gestoten heeft en nu auwie auwie heeft. Als ze zo'n tempo rijden dan is het echt wel om leven of dood. Als je bijvoorbeeld een zwevend/glijdend transport gaat dan is het tempo vaak wat minder hoog en is de prioriteit om te zorgen dat de ambulance nergens overwachte dingen tegen komt, dus zorgen dat hij niet onnodig hoeft te remmen en geen slingers aan het stuur hoeft te geven om niks. Maar gezien de snelheid waarmee deze dichterbij kwam denk ik dat we hier echt met een spoed transport te maken hebben.

Agree! To add what Veysel C. said, even though, can't complain about the quality of videos 3-4 years ago, as it still was awesome! Maybe the only aspect that annoyed me was cut-outs of journey when they used to enter highway - love that currently there're no interruptions/missing time in the escort in the present videos :) Quality is amazing & love the content you produce! Probably misunderstanding. She stopped but then saw him waving and must have thought he was signaling her. Understandable in the heat of the moment.
The officer actually showed a little piece of his own human self, he yelled a slightly naughty word. Probably an act of shock and scared for her life, as the other motorbike -luckily- saw her and was skilled enough to slow down in time. That bit almost made me shit myself a little.

Stumbled across these videos again and I am loving them even more. I would love to see multiple camera views from the two lead motorcycles and the ambulance escort...sort of the complete synchronized picture of the leap frogging that happens and how it really helps the ambulance. Keep up the excellent work!

Onwijs veel respect voor de motorrijders en ambulance. Je kunt alleen maar hopen dat als je zelf ooit in zo een situatie zit er ook weer mensen zijn die op deze manier hun eigen leven wagen om de jouwe te redden. Diep respect

When the normal tarmac is full use the tarmac that is empty.
Bus lanes - Wrong side of the road - Bike pads.
They are all fair game when the crap hits the fan and the Ambulance has no time to get stuck in traffic.
The traffic from the other side cant go there.. That lane is a bus lane and taxi lane so they only need to let the cars behind pass...

De handgebaren bij 6:50 waren verwarrend, vandaar dat dat meisje overstak. Aan de ene kant zeg je stoppen, en aan de andere kant doorgaan. Het is moeilijk te zien welk gebaar aan wie gericht is. Het meisje heeft "doorgaan" opgevat als aan haar gericht.
Als het meisje denk vermogen had zag ze dat de autos van rechts doorreden de fietser naast haar stopt en toch oversteken terwijl er zowat een auto voor je staat.
Whoo, dit was, zo al we zeggen, echt spoed!!, keek ook even af en toe op de teller, dat ging hard en helemaal voor een binnenstad, en dat meisje, en ja ze begreep het denk ik niet helemaal ( nu wel !!) Maar jeetje dat ging net goed, haar vriendin schrok er ook van en ging gelijk een paar meter terug !!, pfff en gelukkig dat de collega niet zo schrok ( denk het wel maar bleef goed) zelfde geld schrik die zo, 1 stuur fout, en pff moet er niet aandenken met zo snelheid 🙈, maar goed het ging gelukkig wel goed, ik blijf het zeggen, super werk van jullie!!!, dit lijkt me ook het mooiste werk gewoon !!!
Diepe respect voor jullie en in deze tijden, alle hulpverleners!!!

Ook in deze opname, net als de vorige...Kinderen pas toch op! Het is voor kinderen die aan het verkeer deelnemen ook belangrijk dat ze snel leren, op school of waar dan ook, de aanwijzingen van de agent. En dat dit boven alle andere verkeersborden en regels gaat. Zo voorkom je ongelukken. Dit ging maar nét goed! :-(

Fantastic Riding from those outriders. I salute them, and the ambulance crew, they made the difference to that person in the back of the ambulance getting treatment quicker. I hope that person is fit and well now.

Niet helemaal de schuld van het meisje denk ik, ze heeft alleen de handsignalen niet goed begrepen. Had wellicht wat duidelijker gekund dmv aanwijzen wie er nu wel of niet mocht doorrijden.

Zonder angst en met zeer hoge snelheden zorgen jullie dat de patiënt zo vlug mogelijk in het ziekenhuis komt.In de meeste gevallen gaat het gelukkig goed maar er staan ook filmpjes op youtube waar het echt helemaal mis gaat.Daarom bijzonder veel waardering dat jullie dit blijven doen.Pas goed op jullie zelf en het verkeer natuurlijk.👍
Goede communicatie is fijn, wat gaat het toch hard zij op de fiets had wel geluk, de agent op de motor kneep efentjes met zijn billen, respect, goed gedaan.

En leerzaam. Merkte op dat deze motoragent hetzelfde doet als ik doe om kracht te geven aan het stopteken. Het zeggen "stoppen!" En af en toe binnensmonds ook schelden op domme fietsers die toch doorrijden.
Really I have so much respect and admiration for these guys. I literally could watch that video's all day. However I can't stop being so irritated by the people on the road that just do not listen. Ffs.. I seen on one of these there was 2 cyclists that decided they wouldn't adhere to the protocol. Almost getting themselves killed in the process. .. makes my blood boil.
To be honest that was a confusing situation for those two children and a difficult one for the cop as he did not have a good position or enough time to give proper directions to them, even his stop sign was quite unclear and then he proceeded to give go ahead signs in the same direction. The stop sign should have been repeated as this was a very dangerous situation for young and inexperienced cyclists. I'm not blaming the cop (the kids should stop for the oncoming siren) but with children you should always be extra clear.

Ongelofelijk! Wat ik heel gaaf vind is als je partner eraan komt en dan volste vertrouwen hebben dat die kruising stil staat. Zoals op 3:54. Super!!!
For all who are giving quite a bit of commentary on the girl at @6:50, she seems to be about 12-14 (I could be wrong but that’s what it seems like to me). She clearly looks at the officer, so she sees his gestures. But keeping her probable very young age in mind, clearly not having a drivers license and school traffic education not being what it used to be she probably just honestly thought that the waving hand she got ment that she could go instead of stay where you are.
Just think back to when you were that age. Did you understand everything that came your way? Did you interpret every single thing 100% correctly? Did you never make a mistake, in the heat of the moment, that later you know to ge false? At age 12 to 14? If you say that you did you’re a liar. Heck, do you do everything right nowadays?
When watching the video, we have the benefit of knowing what is going on, being in the perfect position to see the officers hand signals, perhaps rewinding a bit if the signal seemed vague. And the officer isn’t at an angle to us (which he was to her). From the comfort of our living rooms every hand signal is clear, because have all the time in the world to interpret them. And most of us aren’t young, underage girls who probably never in their lives been in this situation before.
When even so many adults with drivers licenses and many more years of life experience on them at so many occasions don’t understand the officers signals, how can we give such a young girl so much grieve. Do you all want her to develop a negative self image? The amount of crap many of you are spouting about her is just crazy.
Let’s simply be glad that everything worked out in the end. The girl probably was frightened beyond believe when she suddenly saw that motorcycle rocket towards her. Instead of freezing in the middle of the lane (which, considering her probable young age was a very likely possibility) she managed to resolve the situation correctly in the end. And she hopefully learned something from the experience and in the future knows what to do in this situation.

I love watching how these guys do their job. I have one question though. I always see that blue thing sticking up on the handlebar (right side). What is that piece doing?
Its a marker, via that way they can write information on their tank. For example license plates.
Another amazing video. The team works like clockwork. It would be interesting to know, how long it takes to get the riders to such a high standard. Stay safe, all of you.

Sometimes, no matter how hard you will try, you can not predict all the possibilities.
Who would expected that the girl would misunderstood the officer's signal.
It will help other officer's too to make sure in situations like this that the car,bike,pedestrian had stopped and understood his wave and not just slowing down.

Goed opgelet door de motoragent die de rotonde naderde bij die "trut." Zo zie je maar weer dat je altijd moet blijven opletten, zeker met jongeren in het verkeer. Hopelijk is het voor de dame in kwestie een wijze les geweest en let ze voortaan beter op. Maar ergens ben ik bang dat dat niet het geval gaat zijn......

Prachtige video weer! Mooi stukje afleiding tijdens deze dagen. En dat meisje reed denk ik door omdat je stond te zwaaien naar de auto's, en zodra dat meisje je ziet zwaaien gaat ze weer rijden, ik denk dat ze door de gehaaste bewegingen dacht dat het om haar ging. Gelukkig met een sisser afgelopen :) Op naar de volgende!

Ik kreeg het idee dat je bij sommige kruisingen wat langer bleef staan, en de volg ambulance dichterbij liet komen, dan ik in andere filmpjes wel eens langs zie komen. Is dat bewust of slechts vertekening van het camerastandpunt?
Volgens mij rijden de spitsers altijd VOOR de commandant (meestal de motorrijder die te allen tijde voor de ambulance rijdt) uit. Het is dus niet de bedoeling dat de ambulance al naast de spister rijdt wanneer hij vanuit stilstaande positie vertrekt. Maar dit weet ik niet helemaal zeker, maar wel genoeg zeker om dit zo te zeggen.
Dit is waarschijnlijk doordat de commandant in mijn oor zei dat de verkeerslichten rood waren. Hierdoor weet ik dat kruisend verkeer groen heeft en ga ik pas het laatste moment van de kruising af.
