Reportage VTB Regio15: www.regio15.nl/reportages/verk...
After an accident the paramedics requested a police escort from the A12 near Nootdorp to the HMC Westeinde hospital in The Hague
After the request is granted by the supervisors three officers respond to the call and provide the escort.

Imagine. Having a job that actually makes a difference in peoples daily life. Must be very rewarding at the end of the day.
Thank you for reminding us all of the work the emergency services do to keep us safe and well in every country. Respect.
Honestly, I am very impressed. People seem to have such good respect for the emergency services. You wouldn't see that anywhere else.
Im not sure why im recommended this in 2020 but that was impressive.
It's very impressive how manage to clear the whole path with only 2 bikes
Actually, there were 3 bikes in the escort. Two to play leapfrog, the third to remain always just ahead of the ambulance. There were also several intersections that were pre-blocked by other motorcycles that happened to already be in the area.
Such efficiency is really rewarding to see. These officers do an amazing job, and have likely saved the lives of many patients that need an escort to survive.
6 yeras later.. and you're still responding to the comments, you're a total legend bro
Thanks mate!
Damn, I'm driving for an emergency organisation in germany and I have to say: many things can be learned from this:
1. The traffic seems to be much more patient and better reacting than in germany.
2. Impressive to see that there are the human resources to escort an ambulance - in germany, there won't be 3 police bikes having time for this.
3. Look on how many time this ambulance saved by not having to clear the path on it's own. Nice way to send a squad of police bikes to clear the way. By beeing small, they even manage to go in between two lanes of cars to manage the clearing from the frontside, so anyone sees them. Damn, that's clever.
The single thing we should *not* learn from is the distance they have to go. Dude, the Netherlands are only about two square kilometers, how can it take so long to go from the scene of accident to a hospital, especially driving that quickly?
I live in Italy, you can imagine the apocalypse going on right here...
Die Deutschen hängen in so vielen nach. Da machen es unsere Nachbarn in vieler Hinsicht besser.
Actually, it is 42.000 km2. It obviously depends on how far the hospital is from the accident but it can still take a while to get to the hospital especially if you have a lot of traffic to handle.
@@joeyw8326 Okay, I should have known that someone will complain about the onliest joke I wrote in that whole text.
Yes, it may depend on how far away from a hospital the accident happend, but srsly, Den Haag is one of the biggest cities in the Netherlands and I'm a little surprised on how long it takes to reach a hospital in such a big city.
Nice to see the speedometer, I always wonder how fast you lads are going! Quite some people complaining about 'infrequent' videos. I guess that's just because we all love to watch these - I don't know any other team in the world uploading so much. Thanks for making these available in your free time; if possible, I hope you could use some volunteers that no doubt would love to help you edit more video's. And: get well!
Fantastisch werk!
Perfect coordination. Taxpeyers' money spent in the best way. The civilization of a people can be seen from how motorists respect orders.
to bad America cannot respect Law Enforcement like this. Here in the states , some driver would have just blasted by holding up tthe finger.
@@TowMater603 or shot the cop since people here think that’s ok now
Amazing organization and communication!
Incredible professionalism!
perfect coordination and seamless flow. awesome job!
Impressive how one officer closes an intersection while the other goes through to close the next one and repeat. Nice coordination
Impressive teamwork, wish our first responders were this good. Traffic managment this good can save minutes, even with short distances.
i really get goosebumbs by seeing this... perfect coordination smart ideas how to controle the traffic etc. well done folks stay save
WOW That was incredible, the way you cleared such heavy traffic so quickly. Love the way it wasn't a blanket ban on people moving across junctions sometimes like normal due to the rush hour. Also really like the fact you have amber lights as well as blue, makes the situations so much clearer for other road users as to what you want.
This is so cool, they know exactly what they're doing. They always provide a clear path and give the ambo the best possible route. I'd love to do this as a job!
its amazing the way the officers leapfrog each other at the major intersections, its a work of skill and art to be able to do this and keeps everyone safe
amazing how everything mooved so smoothly
crazy how well this is organized (also youtube is drunk again reccomending a vid from 2017, but im glad they did :D
It's like a video game. If the ambulance catches up, you lose.
A real life escort mission lmao
quite literally the coolest thing i have ever seen! good job
Amazing how flawless this works. The situation in Germany is a horrible catastrophe compared to this. The Ambulance never gets escorted by the police, the people on the road often dont move in time, youre stuck in traffic most of the time.
My wife is a doctor at the UAMC in Amsterdam. A few years ago, she had to transfer an unstable patient. She asked the driver of the ambulance why he didn't go. His answer: we just wait for the cavalry, you can hear them already.....👍
🤣 thats nice 👍
Respect from germany! Thank you for your duty!
Well done Holland. All the reasons in the world to be proud of these guys and their teamwork.
Yes UA-cam algorithm... I did watched the whole thing 😂
I loved watching his right hand side view mirror, to see the ambulance coming up from behind.
There's some clips from the commanders perspective, he's usually the one a couple of meters in front of the ambulance.
I'm always amazed by the professionalism, the urgency feeling, the authority and the control of traffic that you guys do. So other may live.
Bravo!
Thanks!
That was one of the most impressive things I’ve seen! Great riding and traffic control. Keep it up guys.
Thanks man!
everytime I watch these guys in action, I get all warm and gooey inside, such precision teamwork, it's quite beautiful in a way
I agree. Choreographed like a ballet.
This video is a perfect example of why a police department that has motor units need to use them for high speed escort, two bikes leapfrogging intersections and a third to help the escorted vehicle clear the intersections, easy and very effective instead of having patrol cars try to do it and just end up stuck in the traffic anyway
Think about it though, not only is how this was handled so awesome to see but it is all being done for a single persons life. Thats quite awesome as well..
Waow. This teamwork! So fascinating.
Respect from Germany 👍🏻
Danke!
Total professionalism from these Officers. A credit to the police force.
You would never see this level of courtesy, respect and cooperation with police as well as the skills of the motorcycle police and their organisation in Australia. Everyone just understands their is a life saving operation underway. Love your vids!
Very nice job and coordination and very nice collaboration from all the drivers
These 3 are studs I can not get a cop to clear an intersection unless there's a Donut in it for them, I have seen many of these from around the World and this is how to do things right
I can't say how many times I've watched these videos. These Ambulance escorts must be so satisfying to do. I want to be a motocycle cop in Holland in my next life....provided I get longer legs. Respect to you guys.
Good job Netherlands. You have a lot of common sense which other countries could learn from you :)
I dont know why I love that siren sound, but I just love
Incredible to see how they manage the traffic flow
I have to say, this is by far the most intense, interesting and unique ride I've seen! Thanks for sharing it with us.
Good Job. Nice to watch. Greetings from your neighbour Germany
Helmets off to those guys, they are smooth operators!
No quiero dos clase
Well done guys. Great respect for Netherlands Police - I go to Amsterdam every year, and a quiet but effective police presence is very visible.
It's like watching a well choreographed dance. It has also improved my hazard perception as a driver. Sad that you don't seem to release videos anymore.
is there any explanation why they dont release vids anymore?
TheSuperdepp1000 someone wrote a comment on another video, that the person who made the videos left the police.
Can't help but respect these motorcycle police officers...the teamwork was perfect! Hats off to the other drivers too...their reactions were great (once they could see what was going on). Stay safe out there.
All this for an Ambulance? Great work. In India it's the reverse
Yep, same here in hungary. Siren? Noone moves. But if the fucking police coming everyone leaves, ambulance can fuck himself... I love this language, i like bikes, and i like these people how different and better they are! :D
@EnigmaDrath Well some times someone with bad damages or heart problems (i think?) the ambulance cant brake hard, too big risk
Yet another fantastic video showing the skilled motorcycle policemen in action, unfortunately the Ambuchannel is no longer broadcasted here on UA-cam,but I hope that everyone who is out in the traffic,in what ever country in the world keep a good lookout also in the rear view mirror, because some day “you might show up” in the rear view mirror needing to have our attention so that you can carry out an emergency escort of someone who’s life could bee depending on the cooperation of other members of the public. Fantastic teamwork from all of you. My deepest respect to you. Until next time.
Very impressed by the coordination between the officers and how efficient the "leap frogging" (I'm sure it has a real name but I don't know it lol) technique is!
We call it a windmill, because we Dutch 😎
@@TeamVerkeerDH 😆 that makes sense! Thank you for the information and reply!
@@TeamVerkeerDH haha very nice
''where's the nearest hospital?''
''yes''
I truly love the EU. We don't even get this service for our regular ambulance services (because we don't have that much traffic in Finland), but to know that our fellow EU member states are willing to grant each others' sick this level of service is a testament to the EU.
Amazing work, love your team effort, I am sure you have saved many lives, love what you do, real heroes 👍👍
Never underestimate the attention getting quality's of a whistle. 😮
youtube recommendation strikes again... for all of us
Great to see Professionals at work, tag switching beautifully, training is everything & the person in the Ambulance would appreciate it ... I hope they survived to see the effort and personal risk the many Officers took selflessly for them. High speed bike work takes only one idiot en-route to panic & ruin the day ... seriously ... Bravo Officers a clearance escort to be admired ... ex bike officer retired from Australia.
In my country the Philippines, these police escorts only happen to celebrities, and some of them are even mediocre celebs. They do this to get to their vacation destination quicker and avoid all the traffic. Talk about setting priorities straight right? What a hell hole this is.
same here in indonesia
Respect from Germany, nice Job Guys

This is absolutely amazing to see. It’s so organized and well planned. I wish we had a system like that here in America.
its really American drivers vs. euro drivers... in the states it would be ciaos in Europe drivers get so much more training..
David Gitin u didn’t see in italy
@@yukisan4108 Or France
@@davidgitin5367 Now let's see this happen in India lmao, not a chance.
@@davidgitin5367 It's not only up to the drivers of regular vehicles. There's a video from the police in Las Vegas if I remember it right, that 'escort' an ambulance. But there's no system in their behaviour and some traffic cop at some junction does not even care about the situation.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not here to just slash on the US, but the training these guys get is very intensive. Without planning, thinking about all other emergency-vehicles involved, having eyes in the back of your head, but especially working ahead of the situation, it will be utter chaos.
Most likely, regular motorcops will fail at this, just because they did not get the same training. These are motorcops from the The Hague Corps. As they escort all kinds of VIP's (as Parliament is seated in this city) and such, they get extra training to do this in this manner. Regular motorcops do not.
Here in Toronto Canada, our traffic lights do the work. We have a control center that essentially allows people to change the light colour, to clear the way for Emergency vehicles.
It's also possible here in the Netherlands, with coördinating the trafficlights but our country is much more populated an crowded than Canada.
So this escorts for high priority rides of ambulances are much more effective.
In this case the can clearing lanes instandly
That was a piece of art guys, respect to you!
Thanks 👍
I love these video of your team. Very professional and excellent team work and communication.
I do Respect all of those Policemen...they're a Professional...thanks for Saving Life's.....👏🏻
Imagine if every country did that! Truly amazing work man!
Thanks!
that makes me emotional
are we all just getting here after over three years
Teamwork and sync level: CLOCKWORK MECHANISM
Good to see professionals working as a team and amazing how respectful the dutch drivers are. British drivers would be failing to stop, pushing their luck and ignoring the cops.
What bollocks.
American EMT here, wish we had you guys over here! 😂
Ojalá hombre cara valiente
The drive over the Atlantic might be a bit rough but they will find a way to do so.
Respekt

wolololoo..
This was disgusting. I saw a piece of litter at 15:11 on the right near a tree 😜 😜 😜
Actually, I can't believe how clean your roads are.
I'm very impressed, wish we could do the same in the UK.
I know it is a few years old now this video, but I have only just seen it.
