I'm positive about it. I'm seeing the Wii U but you can take it outside. Maybe have a download function to take a full game on the go...I dunno I've been feeling positive about things lately 🐢
You can't take a full game on the go with a wifi handheld the Wii U you can because it's got the hardware of the console and cast to the Gamepad (aka use a battery pack with the Wii U console, take your Gamepad and your good no internet required the QLite you need wifi or data and a PS5 or server connection or it's useless) the Sony handheld isn't a Vita the QLite has no native hardware. It's a screen and buttons for playing on your bed/out and about if you have wifi or data aka the Vita with PS4 remote play and not using the native hardware it had. They want PS+ subscription use with the Qlite. The PS5 remote play/second screen is fine. It PS4, phones, tablets and PC already can do this. The Wii U can be taken with a battery pack anywhere without the internet the QLite needs the internet or data to be used for PS5 games it has no native hardware they don't want handheld dev teams they made that clear with the Vita they can't do that anymore.

Project Q: Needs a PS5 to play. Must have the game on PS5. Can only play using Remote Play over WiFi.

To the average person yes it is confusing the remote play video made that clear a month ago how confused people were and Sony clearly doesn't care. To me it's a remote play not native hardware (Vita they stopped they made it clear they weren't making a handheld game development teams anymore) and it's to compete with Cloud handhelds the ones that use Android that advertise streaming but are better android apps/games. They want us to use PS+ and be on the go with wifi/data to play our PS5 games.
The problem is its not what Sont handheld fans want ghey want a native hardware handheld and instead his is a screen, buttons, wifi chip, big screen then a phone but not a tablwt, remore play app you can get anywhere and to play PS+/PS5 fames odf the tv......
Any Vita or PSP owner or Wii U owner knowa how these work the problem is no one wants it from those audiences and the average person doesn't understand remore pkay let alone the Wii U so they are targeting a solution that doesn't exist even the Wii U had dual screen focus, or assymetrical multiplayer the Vita/PSVR1 barely used remore play like assymetrical multiplayer or drawing DLX or Deux ex remote play as ghe only notable uses I am warw of and Playlink with smartphones was hots own thing before Psvr ans that was party games no idea if that flipped or not but their in bargain bins if up for SingStar or knowledge is power or hidden agenda among others (even if the Wii U was like the Wavebird GameCube controller or had a strict frequency, only it's for casting an image over strict WiFi between the console and Gamepad not wifi to your router like Steam Link Xbox Remote Play and Sony's remote play had been for years and still is).
Any Vita owner knows you needed qifi required besides 3G (one carrier only) to do remote play. The 360/540p options were nice and Vita is a 540p handheld vut the thing is if you have a busy network youe not getting a great image. I know I playdd Spiderman and had ir drop a few times if it was busy. Irs casting or streaming youe PS5 or PS+ games. The cloud future of PS+ and the wireless PS5 experience because reasons people want that....... I only on and off use Remore Plya on my Vota on my phone irs fine but I don't buy a device dor just that and elt it be useless I sae the PSTV get barely used and only us Vota fans use it for Vita things. XD
The average person doesn't know any better so they aren't going to buy what fhey don't understand. So Sony is wasting their time. The messaging is clear, Sony handheld owners don't want it, they want native hardware, it is going to flop.
It isn't confusing if you understand the differences but to the average person it is confusing on why people would bother if PS4, phones, tablets and PcS have the remote play app so why bother for an exclusive screen, wifi chip, buttons and image processing parts then a native handheld because cloud future of that PS+ subscription and Sony are lazy they don't want a Dev team for it just cast games to a screen and that's it.
I don't want it I like native hardware or a device with use and better meaning not something with other solutions. The Vita and Wii U had different solutions to the same goal they weren't the same.

I’ve been curious about Project Q it reminds me of when the PlayStation TV set top box came out in 2013 it allowed you to play vita games though it wasn’t perfect but was mostly meant to stream PS4 games with remote play. Project Q is like the PlayStation TV but for remote play and a handheld instead of a box. I’d be curious on what the price will be later on hopefully it’s not to expensive cause I’d like to get one. I’m also interested in foamstars the game and will probably buy it once it release and see how good or bad it is
It is yeah a follow up to that just not being a Vita in a box with Vita, PSP, PS1 game support on the native hardware and just a streaming handheld with a screen, buttons and wifi/image processing parts and a bigger screen than a phone but not a tablet for PS5/PS+ to compete with android cloud handhelds. Even though android handhelds are useful and not a paperweight because of the apps/games on Android not just the streaming services.
It's not "kinda" a commercial failure. The Vita is evidently a failure, being left to die by Sony. Such a shame.
