  • This is the latest Meteor 85 lightweight whoop from BetaFPV. It's very similar to their previous Beta85 but they want this new one to be known as the Meteor 85. It's inspired by Justin Davis & Nate Payne's ShutterBug85 and is extremely lightweight. And the big feature is this version I've got here has the all in one flight controller with a built in Express LRS receiver.

I have two of these , they are great. Didnt even bother to charge the 300mah lipo , throw a 450mah or even an 850mah on and enjoy 5-9 mins fast flowing flying :-) ..I should add that I swapped the motors out for 1102 8000kv very quickly !!! The 11000kv are just too much and as you say , flying for just 3 mins is no fun really if you are not in a race.

They’re just the betafpv ones mate. Cheaper than this link though.

Picked one up. Hopefully you can still add your own external RX as well on this board.... It has an RX1 pad so ...

I wish BetaFPV would change up their canopies to allow camera angle adjustment.

I know what you mean, but BetaFPV have got the angle on this just right for the size of the quad.

What is stopping you from getting a bigger battery other than weight?

It's really good value for money. Ordered two of these and converted one to a toothpick. One of my best Flying toothpick on gemfan 2512 or Gemfan 2036x4.
I dont enjoy it indoor as much as my moblite7. Its too fast and heavy. Outdoor maybe preferable around the playground and people near, where ducts are safer and seen more as a toy.

Can you tell me what gyro you have on your board, because mine drifts to the left like hell. No matter how much calibration I do as well as stick command calibration it keep on drifting to the left. Flashed 4.31 and same problem. I Also have twitching and if it bounce on the ground it just goes crazy all over the place. Its a whoop out of hell!!!

It's sounds like you've got a faulty gyro.

I have the 85 and the literadio 2 se elrs. I have them bound. Won't arm. Says it's armed in Betaflight. Throttle is not at idle in Betaflight and the sliders jump and lag in Betaflight. I've updated firmware on radio and drone, still same thing. Any suggestions. The radio does the same thing when I bind it to a meteor 75 elrs. Thanks.

If it does the same on 2 drones it's probably the transmitter. Try calibrating the sticks. The throttle zero may be out of wack.
