Thank you for sharing your knowledge about your beautiful fiddle leaf fig tree. I can see you’re very passionate about your plants and enjoy hearing your love for your plants
What a beauty. What do you do if you get scorched leaves? Can you pull them off? Mine is getting too much sun on my West porch and some leaves don't look great.
Hi there, I would hold off, no need to separate, unless you want a single trunk look. But if you do, yes you can divide her. We are actually filming a video on plant propagation thru division which should be uploaded soon (we are dividing smaller house plants, but the process is similar , if you care to review as a guide.😀🪴
Thank you for the feedback, I have been wondering if the background music was an issue. I have been thinking that adding some soft background sound helps fill in some awkward pauses and gaps in my speaking , but I will look to soften the volume level even more so it does not distract. thanks again.😀🪴
Hi Michael, thanks for the video on this nice fig species. Wouldn't it be easier for your audience instead of talking about foot candles, saying things like shade, part shade, full sun, indirect sunlight and also how many hours of sunlight per day a plant needs or can tolerate or morning sun only etc.?
Hi Georg, good question. For interior plants, I like using IFAS foot candles standard since that has measurable ranges (via using a light meter device), and I usually also give some guidance to viewers on where we are growing the plant in our home ( x feet from west window / North window etc) but when I am speaking about trees outdoors ( ie Ficus lyrata ), I like to use full sun, part sun, part shade and shade ( highest light req to lowest) when mentioning the specific plants needs. As to hours of sun/ morning etc, I can look to note that in future videos for plants that have more specific light requirements.😀🪴

Hi there, you can prune off leaves but don'y pull, you don't want to strip the stem by accident. Hope this helps.😀🪴
I purchased a flf a few months ago. It seems to have 4 trunks within the pot. Should I separate these trunks?

Will this tree develop aerial roots like other fig trees if planted outside?
She can develop some very minor ones, but I have not seen them develop aerial roots like the native Ficus aurea or banyans do.😀🪴
❤I love your video. Thank you for great advice!
For me music in video sounds annoying and distracting
