I love Open G, and that old guitar sounds fabulous.
Thanks! Old guitars like this one certainly sounds different than modern guitars.
Wonderfully done.
Great tone, smooth and clean.
Thank you for sharing your talents with us.
I recently started learning the slide. There's much more involved with it than I ever thought.
But I see videos like yours, and it gives hope. And if one day I'm able to be half as accomplished as you are. Then I'll be very happy.
Thanks again.
Thanks a lot, you're very kind! Keep practicing and you'll get there.
Bonjour Andreas. J'aime beaucoup tes morceaux en slide. Ils ne sont pas forcément difficiles à jouer. Mais ils sonnent très bien et les mélodies sont vraiment agréables. Continue à en publier, je les prends tous !!! Ou presque...
Thanks Emmanuel! I'm not going to stop posting anytime soon, there will be more slide and other stuff coming up.
Great stuff 👏
Thanks!
Yeeah! Really nice! 😉👌
Thanks Martin!
Wonderful!
Thanks Rose!
Bra brorsan😊
Tackar!
Open g is my favorite tuning. Jimmy page used this a lot on Led Zeppelin 3..
It's a great tuning not only for slide.
COOL
Thanks Mark!
Sounds so nice. Are those strings "silk and steel"?
Thanks! No, it's phosphor bronze 10-47. I actually changed them today to Optima Vintageflex 011-047 to get a little heavier strings without more tension.
@AndreasBrink Nice. I have an old tiger oak/spruce parlor guitar similar to yours. I've been using the slide, but don't get near the tone with silk and steel. I'll have to look into those strings. Pick on, brother!
