This was NBC's last year covering the French as Warner Bros TV bought the rights starting next year. I thought it was disgusting NBC ditched their tennis TV audience and switched to Olympic track and field trials coverage instead of showing the trophy presentation. Glad NBC won't be covering the French Open anymore. But next year unless you have Time Warner you won't be able to watch the French Open

It seemed everyone was rooting for Carlitos, even the news broadcasters. I've nothing against Carlito, but knowing this was Zverev's prob best chance to win a grand slam title I was rooting for him. Zverev too good a player not to have a major title. But he had his chances in the last set and made so many crucial errors when he could've turned the match. Very agonizing to watch him squander his chances. I know this won't be Carlitos only French title, but prob Zverev won't have another chance again

Men are stronger and go longer were woman are not. However there is no difference in status that allow them to play for less. All pay coaches trainer etc, those fees are the same that man and woman pay. A lot of the other tours that aren’t grand slams then men also play 3 sets.

It's about money generated than time passed on the court! Men generate more so they should be paid more! Look at football and notice the difference.
