Wow I have never looked into shooting 4k video. But now that I have come across this I might just give it a shot! I have been trying multiple different styles with my youtube channel and have been growing in the process. Thank you for the advice!
Plus digital cinema projection is in 2k which is essentially 1080. If the projection is in Widescreen it’s actually a cropped 2k meaning it’s even less. 4K is great for origination, but it’s a nightmare for mastering.
God is good! This video has answered several questions for me. I have a 4K camera, but the tv network I broadcast for requires a 1080 rendering. I was trying to wrap my head around why a 1080 rendering for 4K recording - now it makes sense. Thank you!
I do the opposite - shoot 1080, breeze to edit. Then up load to You Tube in 4K. Can’t tell the difference. Id encourage new content creators to shoot enough cutaway options and not to have to rely on 4K for crop edits and pans . But of course each to their own
I love how much you involved your faith in this video. It was informative but also spread the message of God!
Exactly. Downsampling will help with noise as well. So you might get a bit better results in artificial/low light.
Great video and great explanation.
This was such a beautiful video, I'm surprised it has so less views, It deserves so much more, Much love
Some very good tips. Many thanks.
This was amazing and super helpful. Thank. you! How do you downscale to 1080p from 4k in Final Cut Pro?
So nice to see a tech video with symbols of Christ. Thank you for the great tips. I tried a 4K timeline and it was rough on my PC.
It's nice to see. I'm sick and tired of all the occult nonsens, that is around these days.

so shoot in 4k and put the media in a 4k timeline, and then export in 1080p, or put it in a 1080p timeline?
No buddy!! You shoot in 4K, edit in 4K on your timelime and export in 1080p.
