You should have bought the surface with length 140 cm, instead of 120 cm for more space. I have exactly the same office setup but with length 140 cm. Nice setup ;)

Hi. you can buy like these silicone buttons, and it's better if it is facing the wall or only pay attention. Good luck 👍
What exact drill bit did you use? The screws are oval round. I thought the were Phillips flat and used the wrong screwdriver. Now they are stuck and I don’t have enough strength to remove them or continue to screw them all the way in. (I bought a similar Linnmom table).
I used IKEA "FIXA" drill. apart the plastic screws all the screws are Philips
does the table move around seen as the table isnt screwed on the alex drawers
Exactly, it is not fixed. it only stands with the little silicone buttons and the weight on the table

What drill were you using? Lol I’m sorry I don’t have any idea for this kind of stuff. I have the package already but I dont have a drill to attach the screws.
a screwdriver is sufficient. the drill saves you time and effort only.
Can you choose which side you have the draws on depending on how you flip the desk top?? I want the table legs on the left and the desk on the right but I’ve seen everyone having it the other way round
Hi.the drawers are not attached, you can put them on the side you want. and change the orientation of the desktop. Good luck

Hey does this work on a 100cm table top? Or will that be to small? In the video the table you use is 120cm by 60cm but in the description u said u used 100cm?
Hello. first of all thank you for the remark. I copied the description from the website and the detail was 100cm and I used 120cm.
for the measurement of 100 cm, it can make it do, but it will be tight, unless you add two feet or you put LINNMON on the half of ALEX.
So it literally just sits on top of the Alex drawer unit and doesn’t attach anywhere? Strange!
It has some sticky circles the attach to it or something
I'm building the same desk but with the new lagkapten top and the instructions says to screw the top to the drawer, it moves around fairly easily if you don't.
@@Scottdvz Oh thanks man! i have the lagkapten top and im getting the alex drawer so this really helped!
@@ForTheMFA It seems they used to give you some rubber anti slip things you stick to the top of the drawers for the linnmon, I guess that wasn't stable enough so now they give you screws to screw the table down.

just sit on top of the ALEX unit . with the silicon bouton it shouldn't move .

How sturdy is this desk? I have this table top but with just 4 adils legs. It wobbles when typing. Just wondering if one Alex drawer would help?
Hi. it is more stable with ALEX than with 4 ADILS. but in general it must face the wall on at least one side. better two
@@th3blogger I got this desk (140cm) and it’s quite sturdy without resting on walls. The Alex drawer helps a lot. 🙂

Does the table top not connect to the drawers? I am thinking I may buy brackets and secure them
it is not connected, it only rests on the drawers
Much better than the old design when it was a nightmare to attach tabletop to drawers by lining up the holes with 4 screws. It took ages and used a method of placing 4 screws through the top of the drawers then at least you had a good way of pairing up with each screw.

Hey I was wanting to ask why dose my drawer not go all the way in and is hard to push in and out but after it’s nice and easy when you pull it out a bit
Do you mean when you push it for the first time to install or after you have finished installing it. For the first, this is normal, but for the second, try looking from under the drawers to find out the problem

Alex Drawers had a slight re-design. They don't come with the bubble disks.
what are the small bubble / droplet looking things you use to connect the table to the drawers??? i really need those.
Silicone bubbles to prevent chafing when putting something on top and reduce their movement..

I really need a desk and have been eyeing this for awhile now? Do you like it? Is it Sturdy? I don't live near and Ikea and to have any desk shipped to me they want $70 for shipping which is crazy. Is it worth the extra shipping or should I just find something else? Thanks!
Hi. for the office set I am satisfied. it is composed of 3 parts and LINNMON can support 50Kg. but $70 for shipping is too much
