- Inspired by Stabby McKniferson's video (the video is taken down, but it was amazing), I decided to make my own "TAS Your Own Adventure" video! There are 20 unique endings, but only 1 where you never lose a stock! Can you find the perfect route? Enjoy, everyone :)

I am a Marth main, so I always picked whichever option I would hate to play against. Got the best ending.

I got all the correct choices and kept all my stocks, despite not knowing the first question I answered correctly.
YOOO, NO WAY! The original TYOA that Stabby/Heeew made back in like 2015 was one of my favorite Melee videos ever, and I can't think of anyone more fit to bring the idea back to life than you guys! Makes me really happy to see this.

Super cool concept! It's a shame that UA-cam removed annotations, otherwise, the old-fashioned way of making this video would've been possible. If I had to improve the video, I'd say that manually going to certain timestamps is pretty finicky. The way Markiplier made his In Space adventure was by implementing different choices via unlisted videos. As I'm presented with two different choices, the video should be ending with two different end cards (I think that's what they're called) that take me to either choice in the form of a new video. Not sure how easy or difficult this may be to pull off, since you would have to cut up and upload a lot of seperate videos, but I think it worked super well in In Space With Markiplier.
Originally, I was going to make them all separate, unlisted videos. But in order to add end screens, the video must be at least 30 seconds long. I wasn’t able to make each section 30 seconds, so it ended up not working out…

the chapter picker on mobile worked really well
I got down by two stocks immediately, but then remembered this was a tas and started picking the stylish choices. Marth then got reverse 3-stocked and it was glorious.

My editing software crashed multiple times, including when the rendering was at 99% complete 😭
I’ve only ever watched melee, but through how much I’ve watched it I got every option right and a 3 stock with fox. Game’s so cool.

This feels so immersive I popped off when I managed to win in last stock situation LMAO amazing video!!!
Immediately fell down to last stock, started to get a run back going, but still lost at last stock. This has taught me that not only do I still have a long way to go mentally with Melee, but also that even if UA-cam wanted to kill annotations because they're full of "geniuses," people can still make incredible CYOAs, and I'm really enjoying seeing the other routes
The names for the situations and options are so hilarious lol. "You're a little tilted but you get it together"

"DI in, you gotta live!" HAHAHA
I clutched it against Marth when he had a 2 stock lead. I popped off when fox got the final stock. This was a fantastic video, thanks for the work you put into this! Such a wonderful experience.
Holy shit this has to be my fav video of all time, absolutely in love with this style. Can only imagine the effort that went behind making this, amazing work!!!

Lost two stocks with Fox, but then made a comeback against Marth and deleted all three of his stocks. Great video, B&D Games!
Saw something about this many years ago but the video was taken down, finally it's cool to see exactly what this was and I would love people to try to do this sort of thing with other games!

This was a great video. I don't know much about melee, but i instantly went up 3-1 before nearly getting reversed 3 stocked and only winning by 1 stock.

Phew, almost got reverse 3 stocked. I would have gone for nair, drill, running shine, or dash grab after the ledge dash at 16:31, not jab when marth is at 15%.
I did everything I'd do in a real game and won by 1 stock, sounds about right.

I 3 stocked Marth imo. Despite never touching melee, I just chose what would leave me least vulnerable via logic and background knowledge and won. Guess AsumSaus binging payed off after all.
