I enjoy your videos so much. I’ve started a low-buy year and was really inspired by what you did last year. Your experience + authenticity always come through, but I think that your « experiment » reminded us perfume enthusiasts + UA-camrs that it doesn’t always have to be about « buy, buy, buy! » (and « sell, sell, sell »!) and that we have lots to explore already. I also love that you look beyond the gourmands! I’m pretty sure you’re who « introduced » me to Gardens of India. I sought out the Parle Moi shop when in Paris last spring and had such a wonderful experience. I bought Gardens of India, and Guimauve de Noel + they treated me to a sample set… all wonderful! Love the Diptyque scent you mention here (wore it last week… just gorgeous + elegant but somehow unfussy). I’m intrigued by Les Abstraits based on your + Persolaise’s reviews. Thanks for your generous, intelligent + warm content!
Fleur de Peau is one of the best scent purchases I've made for my partner. It smells wonderful on her, and she loves it. So much so, it's almost time for a second bottle!
I suspect you’re waiting for Belle Ame fromLes Abstraits. I think you will love it. It’s beautiful, light and airy and has a lot of guts. Nice video. This year, I’m not going to buy any full bottles…I have too many and spent a lot of money last year on perfume. I can wait till 2024 to buy fbs. Cheers to you.
I found you through Chris as well! I really enjoyed listening to your reflections on the no-buy year. Perfume is aromatherapy, but it can be an addiction as well. So it's good to take a step back and evaluate why you are buying and enjoy what you already have.
I know this is a perfume video but I just can't stop thinking about your lipstick! Such a beautiful shade of red - would love to know what brand and shade?
Oh thank you! It’s a Chanel one I think. It’s a little more blue-toned IRL, the colour grading has warmed it up. But I absolutely love it because it’s not “dry” on my lips and it wears really well throughout the day! When I get home from work, I’ll upload the deets :)
@@IssyKew indeed there are! I didn’t realise that Chanel had a lipstick called Coromandel! Okay, so the lipstick is: Chanel Rouge Coco Bloom 138, Vitalite.
Indigo Perfumery threw in a sample of Victoria last June when I purchased something else and I immediately fell for it and ordered a bottle the same day! You are correct, this perfume is sooo strong. I over sprayed a couple weeks ago and I know every single person in the coffee shop could smell me. 😄 I washed the shirt I had been wearing and could still smell the fragrance when I took my clothes out of the washing machine. If I had looked at the notes, I never would have imagined that I would like it...oud and tuberose? But the blending is so fantastic it just has its own vibe. Great video, Cherie!
I really enjoy Lys 41 also. I purchased the 15ml since I have heard it doesn’t last very long before starting to turn. But you’re right that when I do reach for it, it seems to put up with any weather I throw at it :)
Hello Cherie, thanks for sharing your sampling adventures. I am curious to get your thoughts on the Les Abstraits Belle Âme, which I presume is the sample you have ordered. It's the orris fragrance and I know that is one of your favourite perfume notes currently. I wonder if you will pick up Victoria? It sounds like you really enjoyed that fragrance the most from this group of samples. Chris is a lovely lady and I enjoy watching her content. Have a good day! ~ Jenn
I think Victoria is definitely on the cards for me, just a matter of time. haha yes you are 100% correct the sample I ordered is Belle Âme! Cant wait to try it. Thanks for being here, Jenn xx
You can find all Frassai perfumes on their site and they have an European one and you don’t need to pay any taxes. They have their beautiful discovery set, which I loved. Now I’m planning to order a full bottle of Rosa sacra, I can’t wait.

@@TheTopNote thank you so much. That red looks great on you. One of my favourite red lipsticks is Chanel Coromandel - so many overlaps with perfume!
