Fantastic tip! I have MS and my hands tend to tremble, so gluing with dots of glue was becoming very difficult...especially with it drying before I was done! This is a true lifesaver for me...thanks! :)
I like it! and kudos for using a truly intricate and delicate diecut ... not to mention beautiful. I have one of those really big blue pens I never quite knew what to do with it and now I do so I thank you for that. For a smaller intricate diecut I smear whatever glue I am using on a Post-it note so you have a fat a flat glue is surface and then I’ll just kind of slide the back of the diecut around there to pick up the glue but I think this is my name better for all those intricate diecuts .
TFS good tip. You can do the same with the other end of the TomBow glue, lots of people forget about the other end. I have been LOLing at the closed caption translations. It is wonderful that you provide that; the errors are rather funny.
This was so crazy easy. And it was one of those solutions that makes me shake my head and wonder why I had never thought of it before. Thanks for sharing with us.
Alexandria, Does the glue show after it dries on the finished card? Double stick tape is expensive! Novo glue is about $10.00. I'm making sure glue does not show on the card and buy glue stick. Thank you for making my crafting life better!🤓😍😎💕❤️💕😘💞
Hi Alexandra! I really appreciated this two minute tip today!! Can you do the same tip when trying to glue together of the same die cuts on top of each other when you want to create an embellishment with dimension? Thank you so much p! ~Katz Baugh
There are glue pads out there. I think they are by Staz On or Brilliance. I bought one some years ago for stamping and applying glitter or gilding flakes.
I just got this glue pen and haven't actually used it yet, but after shaking it and pumping it, I find it's coming out very runny/watery. In fact if I don't store it standing up then the nib drips and there's glue in the lid. Just lightly swiping the glue pen on paper leaves a liquid mess that runs if I tilt the paper. Which is not what yours seems like. Did I get a defective one, or is this just how it's supposed or be? I can't return/exchange it as I ordered it from a US site and I'm in Canada.
I have the medium Nuvo glue pen that I have tried using to stack die cut sentiments for dimension. The darn things come apart after they dry. I shake the glue pen as directed and put a weight on it after gluing. Any thoughts on what I am doing wrong?
I havent had that happen with any of my pens, have you had it while? I would email support@tonic-studios.com perhaps its just that one pen that has an issue?
I'm not sure i quite understand your phrasing, you can't see anything afterwards, its completely clear, i also like if you rub this glue it completely disappears
Thanks so much for the tip! I’ve been using adhesive sheets, which are costly, but also create difficulty because they don’t always cut through cleanly, even with shims. But I have a question that hopefully you can answer: I see a lot of card makers using liquid adhesive to glue their layers, but when i tried it, it made my paper warp horribly, and was unusable. I was sure to not saturate my layers but that didn’t seem to matter. I’ve even left acrylic blocks on top while glue was drying. So, will this pen create any warping? Also, is it quick drying or do you have time to make adjustments if necessary? Thanks for any help you can give me. Now, i only use double sided tape to adhere layers, but for stacking up die cuts, i most often use liquid adhesive and haven’t had the same issue - maybe because its smaller??
This doesnt warp, it gives you enough time for wiggle room but dries quick enough you dont have to wait around for it to dry, for me its the perfect option.
Did you recently post to UA-cam something about the Gemini go? Maybe a quick review or something? I thought you did and I really wanted to see it and I’ve looked everywhere for it and I cannot find it. Is that because you never did it and it’s just a figment of my imagination?

Also.....your website isn't easy, I'd love to get in on your monthly kits but I can never never get current, I'm always behind. I looked yesterday but it was for 2 months ago.
I adore you but when you say "kitchen towel" do you mean paper towel or cloth towel, I'm in Portland Oregon so I speak American English not English English.
@@sue2019 I haven't had that problem at all with my xyron and I always make sure to burnish the item before I pull the plastic off and then any excess goes on to the plastic

I love this hack and what I love more is that I have the Nuvo glue pen! Something new to use it with. Thanks so much!

Thanks for a splendid tip ,I bought the smaller nib but that works well too, brilliant.

Thank you so much. I've been making a terrible mess with the glues. I knew it could be done mess free, I just didn't know how.

Great tip thank you
Great tip! TY
Thank you
Oooh, I have this glue. I’m definitely going to try this, thanks for the great tip.
Thank you reply to my question so quickly,Alexandria!❤️❤️❤️ Gonna buy that glue.🤓
Hi there! What is the advantage of this glue compared to spray glue? Wouldn't spray glue be easier to apply?
This is good too, although I like many grab for the spray. That being said, some folks just don't like or cannot use any kind of spray.
Great tip. Thank you
Brilliant 👌😊💓💕💝💞💖
Going to have to pick one up.
Good tip
Great TIP!
Awesome tip, thank you! 💕
Wonderful tip, thank you so much☺️
You look marvelous, darling!
Please make a video on how to adhere tiny delicate chipboard embellishments without breaking them
A great tip!!! Thank you! I will have to get one of those!

You cant see it at all, its completely invisible thats why i love this!

Yes absolutely!
To get such a delicate die to cut well, do you need to use a specific type of paper, or a minimum weight of card stock? Thank you!
I asked Ranger if they would consider making a glue pad. Similar to an ink Pad but with glue To dab on intricate dies. They were underwhelmed.

FINALLY !!
Will the Zig glue pen work for this as well? Good tip!

Is this glossy clear on the paper (even if you've blotted it with the paper towel)? That's my frustration with other liquid glues?
I'm not sure i quite understand your phrasing, you can't see anything afterwards, its completely clear, i also like if you rub this glue it completely disappears

This is so strange. I literally used this die and this method on Saturday! It's definitely quicker then using liquid glue.
Spray adhesive is even easier.
Can you not just spray it, especially if you don't have the glue pen?
I am in Canada what is the cost for me to join?
Hi Daphne, its 4,99 USD monthly
New subscriber, love this tip. Have not got this glue, will be using this tip. xxx

What a beautiful die Alex.. I 💕 💕 💗 😍 love it!
Didn’t quite catch the name of that glue
Nuvo adhesive pen, links in the description :-)

Tammi Leighton she said you can throw away the kitchen towel, so it must be a paper towel ☺️ 1:23 to 1:30 in her tutorial.
Yes paper towel
H
I have a better hack..... xyron creative station.....
in my opinion i prefer this as no pricey refills and take sup much less space; but i always say tools are a personal preference
I find xyron leaves sticky strings all over the empty spaces.
@@sue2019 I haven't had that problem at all with my xyron and I always make sure to burnish the item before I pull the plastic off and then any excess goes on to the plastic
Too beautiful not to use!
Easy tip, but what a waste to be throwing paper towel away, when we need to be reducing our impact on the environment.
We recycle our paper towel and buy a recylced product; we do the best we can :-)
Thank you!!
Thank you so much!!!
Great tip. Thanks for sharing.
Fabulous tip! Thanks!
Great tip, thank you.
